Empties | April 2017

It feels like yesterday that I did my last Empties post but the bag which I keep my empties in is now full to the brim which signals time to do another Empties post! If you don't know what an Empties post is it is a post where I show all of my products I have used up and give you a mini review on them.

Bath/Shower
Lush Unicorn Horn bubble bar- This is a bubble bar exclusively for the Valentine's Day collection. It produces so many bubbles if you use the whole thing and it also turns the water pink too! I did actually buy another when it was Valentines but when I've used that one I won't be able to repurchase. 

Victoria's Secret Pink Fresh & Clean 2-in-1 Wash & Scrub- This is quite expensive for what it is so I do use it sparsely but I did use it up. It claims it is a wash and scrub in one and the actual product does feel like a scrub when you squeeze it out but when lathering it over your body is feels like a wash. I would repurchase this product.

Flower Pharm Wild Rose Bath Bombs- This was my Christmas present from my friend Nicha and I really liked these bath bombs. They had a really nice rosy scent and were also very moisturising, even if it didn't make any colours. I did like these but at the moment I have so much Lush stuff that I don't need more bath stuff.

Lush Creamy Candy bubble bar- This bubble bar has quickly become one of my favourites because it is like an all year Candy Mountain! It turns the water pink and produces so many bubbles! I love the scent of this so much as it has the Snow Fairy scent, which I love. I have already repurchased this.

Lush Cupid Bath Bomb- This bath bomb was also from the Valentine's Day collection. To be honest I wasn't that keen on the scent and it also was quite disappointing in the bath as it only made the bath light pink but it only did in one section so I think the product needs to be bigger. I wouldn't repurchase this.

Lush Supertramp bubble bar- I got this bubble bar in the Oxford Street flagship store and I didn't like the scent but I liked the colours of the product (mint green and bubblegum pink) so I was hoping it would make them in the bath but sadly it didn't and it just made loads of bubbles (good thing) that didn't smell nice (bad thing). I wouldn't repurchase this. 

Body

Dove Go Fresh Antiperspirant- In my bag I like to keep a little deodorant because I don't want to be smelly when I'm out so if I'm feeling like I'm a bit gross I can whip this out and spray it. I have already repurchased a new one as I really like the scent.

Victoria's Secret Pink Wild At Heart Body Lotion- This has taken my ages to finish so I'm glad it finally is. Saying that I did really like this body lotion as it was very moisturising and quick to absorb into skin. I'm currently using this but in a different scent.

Impulse Be Surprised Body Fragrance- To be honest I don't remember ever using this or even purchasing this but I found this empty so I just threw this into my Empties. I don't even know what this smells like or anything but I do really like the Impulse body sprays. 

Sure Bright Bouquet Antiperspirant Roll On- As well as finishing my handbag deodorant I also finished the one that I keep at home. I did really like the scent of this and I would repurchase but my new one isn't this and is a completely different brand because it was on offer. 

Random
Wilko 70 Soft White 70 Tissues- Every morning I use a tissue to dab off any excess makeup off my brushes and also kinda clean my brushes so I have started to go through packs of tissues faster than before.

L'Oreal Studio/Pro Lock It Fixing Hairspray- I didn't actually really like this hairspray because my curls wouldn't stay and then when they would fall out it seemed really unnatural as my hair would be so sticky and disgusting. I wouldn't and haven't repurchased.

Empties | April 2017

It feels like yesterday that I did my last Empties post (a blog post where I show you all the products I have been using throughout the month and give you a little review on them) but today I am going to show you new products that I have recently used up because I have been using up a lot of products. 

Skincare

Skin Therapy Tea Tree Face Wash, Gentle Face Scrub & Moisturising Lotion- This is my skincare routine and it works really well for my. I use the wash every day but with the scrub and moisturising lotion I use every other day because I don't want to use too many skincare products. These work for my skin so I have already repurchased.

PS... Deep Cleansing Facial Wipes- I recently moved over to using micellar water to take off my makeup but I do still like to have a pack of wipes for when I'm doing my makeup and if I make any mistakes. I really like these wipes as they're not harsh on the skin and I will repurchase when my other pack runs out.

Garnier Micellar Water 125ml- I moved over to taking my makeup off by using micellar water and I really prefer it because it's a lot less harsher on the skin. I first bought the 'on the go size' because I wasn't sure whether I like it or not but I did and I have repurchased and started using the big size. 

Shower

The Body Shop Frosted Berries & Spiced Apple Shower Gels- Before Christmas I bought some Christmas shower gels which probably was a bad idea as I didn't even use any before Christmas but I have used them both up now. I can't repurchase it at the moment but I don't think I would repurchase it but my favourite scent was frosted berries.

Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life Body Scrub- I got this in a Christmas gift set and I really liked it. It smelt amazing as it had that classic Soap & Glory scent and it really seemed to scrub any harsh skin off. I loved this a lot and I actually have bought a large version even though it was £7!

Baylis & Harding Midnight Fig & Pomegranate Body Wash- This was in a set that my friend Cerys got me and I had already used up the body lotion but I only just used up the shower gel. I really like the scent of this and it was really strong so you could smell it after the shower. If I could I probably would repurchase this shower gel.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel- Again this was part of a Christmas gift set but I had used this before and really liked it so I was happy it was in that gift. This product has a really thick consistency and I really like that and I am probably going to get a full size of this product but at the moment I have a lot of shower gel. 

Soft & Gentle Wild Rose & Vanilla Antiperspirant Deodorant- Another empty product I have is deodorant and this is the deodorant that I was using. I did like the scent of the product but it left white marks even though the can said it didn't so I wouldn't repurchase any Soft & Gentle deodorant.

Radox Feel Pampered Bath Soak- In the picture there looks like there is quite a bit less but honestly I can't get anymore out so it is finished. I actually really liked this bath soak because I loved the scent of it but I did have to use a lot of product to get quite a few bubbles so I didn't get much use out of this.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter- This was another product in that Soap & Glory gift set and I really liked this body butter because it was really thick which meant that it was very moisturising and you knew it was working. I would purchase a full size of this product.

Baylis & Harding Midnight Fig & Pomegranate Body Lotion- This obviously had the exact same scent as  the shower gel and I really like that scent. This was a really nice body lotion and I did really think this helped my skin feel more moisturising. If I could I probably would repurchase this.

Makeup 

Essence Quick & Easy Nail Polish Remover- I bought this because I wanted to try out nail polish remover in a pot and because it was cheap I bought this one. I actually did really like this but towards the end I had to take the sponge out of the pot and dab the nail polish remover on a cotton pad. I probably would repurchase this.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer- Finally! It felt like I had this product for ages so I'm really glad it's used up now because to be honest I didn't really like it as it didn't last all day and it didn't really cover my under eye circles. I wouldn't repurchase this as I much prefer my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. 

Lush

Recently I have used up quite a few of my Lush bath bombs and bubble bars (even though I still have quite a few). The ones I used up were from the Christmas range because sadly Christmas has gone and past. The ones I used up include: 

-Northern Lights bath bomb

-Ruby Red Slippers bubble bar

-Shoot For The Stars bath bomb 

- Candy Mountain bubble bar

-So White bath bomb

So they're my recent empties and the products that I have used up recently. I will probably do another one of these when I have used up more products. Also let me know some blog post ideas you want to see. 

Empties | February 2017

So today I'm going to be sharing with you some products I have recently used up and give you mini reviews on them and share with you if I would repurchase it again. If you've been living under a rock and don't know what an empties post is, it's basically a post where I share products that are all used up.

Soft & Gentle Wild Rose & Vanilla Anti Antiperspirant Deodorant 250ml- This was actually a repurchase as I did have the smaller size before and recently I finished the large size. I probably wouldn't repurchase this because I do find it leaves white marks and I'm pretty sure the smaller one didn't really do that.

Vaseline Spray Moisturiser in Cocoa Radiant- I really love this because I find it really handy to spray it onto my arms and legs because it's really annoying putting the body lotion onto your hands and then rubbing it in. I will repurchase this product but I'm going to buy it when it's half price because £6 is kinda expensive for this.

Boots Cleansing Handy Wipes- In my makeup bag I kept this small pack of wipes for whenever I would make a mistake or for when I swatched products onto my hands but now I have finished the 12 pack. I will repurchase a small pack of wipes for my makeup bag but I'm not sure if it will be these ones.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter Cream- In the Soap & Glory Foam & Fortune gift set it came with mini Sugar Crush scented products and I've used them all up and I really liked the body butter because it was really thick and moisturising and I would buy a full size of this. 

Lush Products- For my birthday I received a lot of Lush bath bombs and bubble bars and I have finished them all now so now I'm using the ones I got for Christmas. I'm a huge fan of Lush and when I've finished all the ones I have I will be buying a load of new ones however sadly they won't be Christmas themed.

Along Came Betty Bath Salts- In a set that I got for Christmas 2015 I got this pot of bath salts and I only just used them up just before Christmas. These were really lovely and had a really nice peach scent but I probably wouldn't repurchase as I'm not the biggest fan of bath salts as they don't seem to do much.

Hell of a lot of Bath Soak- In the space of a couple of weeks I used up three bottles of bath soak. I've used up Along Came Betty, Boots and Wilko bath soaks and I would use all three again as they make a lot of bubbles and as you can probably guess I love having bubbles in my baths.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub & Shower Gel- These were also in the Soap & Glory Foam & Fortune gift set and I really liked using them and also the very fruity scent was really nice. I would definitely buy the body scrub as that was amazing and I liked the shower gel but I can get some that are still great for cheaper.

Wilko Strawberry & Pomegranate Body Scrub- This is one of my favourite body scrubs and the good thing is that's it's only 95p for such a good product. At the moment I'm using another amazing Wilko body scrub but this is definitely my favourite scent. 

Pink Wild At Heart 2 in 1 Wash & Scrub- I was a bit reluctant spending £15 on a shower gel but I am glad I did because this is a really lovely product. Yes £15 is overpriced for what it is and you are paying for the brand but it did last a long time as I was using it for ages and the scent is really strong, even after you come out of the shower so I would repurchase it.

Radox Feel Glam With Berry Burst Shower Cream- This was a repurchase as I have had it before but it is a really good shower cream; I love the scent of it and it feels really nice on the skin and it's usually on half price so I do find it's a product I buy a lot and will most likely buy again.

So these have been the products I have used up and I have actually started collecting for the next Empties post but that probably won't be for a while. Let me know in the comments below what products you like to use because I might find out some new ones I haven't tried before.

Empties | Part 2

As I said in my last post today is Part 2 of the Empties post that I uploaded yesterday. This post does have similar things in to my last post (cough cough shower gel) but there's also more haircare and makeup.

Wilko Fruits Strawberry & Pomegranate Shower Gel & Body Scrub- I've you're an avid reader of this blog you would've seen me haul this a couple of times and it's also been in the last empties but I used up another of the shower gel and scrub. I will repurchase but I haven't done it yet.

Wilko Fruits Coconut & Vanilla Shower Gel- Another shower gel from Wilko and this one smelt all right; it wasn't the coconut scent I was expecting (probably as there was also vanilla) but it was still alright. I might repurchase but I know there are nicer scents so I might not get it again.

Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo & Conditioner (In the next picture)- As I said in my last post I bought a bunch of Soap & Glory minis and these was another of the products. These were quite good and I probably will repurchase as they did no damage to my hair or anything to my hair apart from making it clean and smooth.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel- Sadly I finished my Snow Fairy shower gel from Lush and it's such a shame as I probably won't be able to get it until Christmas and I love the scent so much that's why I only used a little bit at a time. I definitely will be repurchasing when I can get my hands on it again. 

Girlz Only Dry Shampoo For Brown Hair- We all have them days when you don't want to wash your hair so that's why I finished some dry shampoo. I actually preferred this to Batiste as that makes my hair dry and this didn't that so I will repurchase this but at the moment I'm using a dry shampoo from Girlz Only but a different version.

Collection Waterproof Volumising and Lengthening Mascara- I finished two mascaras and these were okay but not amazing. They didn't really make my lashes that long or voluminous but they worked better after using the mascara for a long time. I probably won't repurchase.

That was my second part of my empties post and the last one but there will be another but I don't know when (when I finish enough products). Let me know any products you like that you think I might want to try and out.

Empties | Part 1

Today I have another Empties post as I have finished off a lot of products recently and I wanted to share them with you in case you want to buy them. I'm actually doing it in 2 posts and tomorrow part 2 will come but I wanted to do it in 2 smaller parts than 1 big post and this is part 1 (obviously).

Skin Therapy Tea Tree Skincare (Facial Wash, Gentle Face Scrub & Moisturising Lotion)- This is my daily skincare routine and luckily I finished them all at once as I use them everyday. I did repurchase these exact products and I'm actually nearly finished the new ones so I need to repurchase them again.

Skin Therapy Face Wipes- I use any face wipes to take my makeup off but I do usually get these Tea Tree ones as they match my skincare so it's probably good to match everything in your skincare routine. I have actually repurchased and my current pack only has 1 wipe left so I bought another pack.

Superdrug Jelly Bean Body Spray- I bought this last summer but only recently started using it as I lost it for a bit but when I found it again I used it and really liked the scent. I haven't repurchased this as it was limited edition but I know Superdrug has this collection out at the moment so they might have some again this year.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel- I bought a load of Soap & Glory products to do a review on (I never actually done that review, woops) and this was one of the last products from that, that I used up. I would repurchase however I always use different shower gels so I might not repurchase it for a while.

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser in Cocoa Radiant- I've seen this product for a while but never picked it up but I'm glad I picked this up as this is so amazing and more brands need to do this as I hate using body lotion as I hate using my hands. I have repurchased it as it's really good.

As you can tell I have used a lot of shower gels up recently and that is because I always use to much so I need to limit how much I've used and I have started doing that. I haven't repurchased any of these as I already have a collection of different scented shower gels.

Empties | April 2016

Welcome to my first ever Empties post. I'm really excited about this post because I really like reading/watching these and I've wanted to go one for ages but I needed to wait until I had enough products but now I do so yay!

I Love... Minty Choco Chip Bath and Shower Gel- This was in my Primark Haul but now I've used it all up. I loved this shower gel a lot because it smelt so good like actual mint choc chip ice cream, which I really want now. I will be repurchasing this as I saw a massive bottle of it in Superdrug but I didn't get it as I have a lot of shower gels to use up.

The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel- Another little shower gel I've used up is this mini one from The Body Shop and I featured this in my What I Got For My Birthday and Christmas. I did really like this shower gel as it had a very clean scent. I don't know if I would repurchase it because I have some other scents which I prefer but I wouldn't mind using a bigger size as it was a nice scent.

Zoella Beauty Foam Sweet Foam Cleansing Shower Gel- I used this shower gel ages ago so I did kinda forget about it but I did really like using it as it had a very nice clean scent which worked well with the Zoella Body Scrub which has the same scent and I do like using products which has the same scent because I'm weird and like to use things in pairs. I haven't repurchased and I don't think I will be but this was a really nice shower gel.

Radox Feel Glam With Berry Burst Shower Cream- Again I used this shower gel/cream ages ago and I still haven't repurchased it but at least this is a reminder. I really liked using this shower gel as I love berry scents and this had a really nice one. The only I had a problem with was the opening as it was very hard to open especially when you are in a wet shower but maybe I had a dodgy one.

Wilko Fruits Strawberry & Pomegranate Fragrance Explosion Shower Gel- I featured this in a recent Collective Haul and it may seem like I used this very quickly but in actual fact I had it for a while beforehand but only blogged about it recently. I did really like this shower gel but I always used too much which is annoying to wash it all of. I would repurchase it as it was only 95p.

2x P.S. Love Your Skin Deep Cleansing Wipes- Yes I know I have a crazy amount of packs of face wipes I've used up but that's how I take off my makeup and I also use them when I'm wiping away swatches or sometimes I do 2 makeup looks a day so I take them off with these. I think these are my favourite face wipes as they are only £1 for 2 packs and you get 25 in a pack.

Skin Therapy Normal & Combination Skin Lightly Fragranced Face Wipes- The other pack I have is from Wilko and they were ok but I don't like them as much as the Primark ones. They were quite dry so I did find it hard to take off my mascara especially as I do wear waterproof mascara so I need more wetness. I don't think I will repurchase but they are only 50p if you are on a budget.

Grace Cole Strawberry & Kiwi Body Butter- I used this ages ago so I totally forget about it. Body Butter isn't something I use a lot because I prefer using body lotion and in the shower I always use a body scrub so I don't do both. I really liked the scent of this body butter as it was very strawberry and the scent of strawberry has to be one of my favourites. I would repurchase and I know you can get this in Tesco but I got it in a gift set from Argos.

Red Puff- Obviously this isn't an empty as you can't use up a puff but I broke it so I thought I would include it as I can't use it anymore. Basically how I broke it was trying to untangle the little hanging thing and little did I know the whole thing started to unwrap and then it all broke and was unsaveable. I got this in the Grace Cole set above but obviously I have bought a new one but no it is not a red.

P.S. Love... Anti Bac Hand Gel- This is an essential for me wherever I go because sadly the world is a germy place and I don't like germs. This hand sanitzier was ok but not the best one I've used because of the scent (the one currently in my handbag is bubblegum scented) and this one smelt a bit like alcohol. I would repurchase this as it was only 60p and I can live with the alcoholic scent.   

Vaseline Active Fresh Antiperspirant Roll-On- So I finished a deodorant recently and it was actually quite good as it made me more fresh and we all know that's what everyone wants in their life. I actually don't know what to say about this deodorant as they all do the same job and everyone (hopefully) knows what deodorant is and what is does. I would repurchase this as there was nothing wrong. 

Zoella Fizz Bar- I used up a Zoella Fizz Bar recently and it was quite good. I've used the Tutti Frutti one before but I definately prefer this one as because they were smaller chunks you had to use more to get more fizz but you could get quite a bit with 2 smaller ones than 1 big one. Being honest I still don't really get what this does but it was nice to use but I think I will continue going for Lush bath bombs and bubble bars.

Batisite Dry Shampoo in Fruity & Cheeky Cherry- I really loved using this dry shampoo as it definately made my hair look more clean even when it weren't. I also really liked the scent and when I get Batisite I always get it based on the scent (and maybe even the packaging as some of the designs are really nice). I have repurchased this but I got a smaller one instead but technically it's the same thing.

Along Came Betty So Much Bubble Heavenly Bath Soak- Surprisingly this is the only bath soak but the one I'm currently using has last a long time so far. I didn't really like this bath soak because you had to use a lot of this to get a decent amount of bubbles and I did use this up in about 5 baths because it was hard to get bubbles so because of that I won't be repurchasing.
