Recently I haven't had many blog posts ideas so I thought it would be a good idea to share with you what I have been loving recently to hopefully fuel some ideas for my next couple of posts; let me know in the comments below what blog posts you want to see and I will do them for you!
Snapchat- Snapchat has been my favourite app recently because it's definitely one of the most easiest ways to talk to a range of people and obviously I love the filters (my favourite is the dog). I only have a personal snapchat but I am open to the idea of making one for this blog.
Barry M Nail Paints- Recently I have been painting my nails a lot more and my favourite nail polishes are the ones from Barry M. I love the shape of the brushes because they're not messy and there's so many different shades depending on whatever colours you like. Also the price is amazing too!
Netflix- I definitely always go through phases with Netflix as sometimes I watch it more than YouTube or other times I will watch YouTube more. At the moment I have been watching Gossip Girl and The Only Way Is Essex on there but I have also been watching quite a few movies on there.
Storage Trolley Drawers- For my makeup collection I got this storage trolley that I could use the other 7 drawers for other bits and it has helped my room become so much more tidier and I can find things way more easier. They were from Amazon and were only around £20 which is amazing.
Lush Bubble Bars- I've always loved Lush but at the moment I'm definitely preferring their bubble bars because I love having bubbles in my bath and I have also been preferring the scents of the bubble bars to the bath bombs so I always buy the bubble bars rather than bath bombs.
Backpacks- I have a new system which is using whatever handbag matches my outfit so I always use all of my handbags but I have definitely preferring backpacks as I love the feeling of being hands free. Yes backpacks can be annoying in a rush but I usually keep the most important things in my pockets.
Primark- Although I haven't been impressed recently with most of the clothes shops, Primark has been my favourite. I haven't really like most clothes shops recently and that's only because I haven't found anything in them but Primark has been my favourite place to buy clothes recently.
That's everything I have been loving recently and haven't included in my monthly favourites post, which I will still be doing at the end of the month. Follow me on Twitter (@thelipinsider) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider) for more of me on both!

Lush Favourites
A lot of people only talk about Lush when they have collections out (Christmas, Easter etc.) but never in between so I thought I would do a blog post with my favourite five bath bombs/bubble bars which you can buy anytime of the year.
The Experimenter Bath Bomb- This was the first Lush product that I called a favourite and ever since I've always loved it. I prefer the bath bombs that give off a lot of colour and this one does just that; this bath bomb makes your bath all blue, white, pink and a bit of yellow and it's really pretty. This bath bomb is very sweet but has a comforting scent as it has vanilla and tonka extract in. This bath bomb is £4.25 and it is one of the more expensive bath bombs but it is really good and big so I would happily pay that price.
Milky Bath Bubble Bar- This is a bubble bar that I don't really hear many people talk about, which is a shame because I really like it. It's very simple as it only makes bubbles when you crumble it under running water but it makes so many bubbles and I love that! The scent is very refreshing and relaxing so this is good for pamper evenings. Key scents in this bubble bar are soya milk powder, cocoa butter, orange oil and patchouli oil. This bubble bar is £3.75, the average price for a Lush bath product.
Think Pink Bath Bomb- This bath bomb is a lot more simple than The Experimenter and even though I love colourful baths, sometimes when I'm having a Pamper Evening I don't want too much colour and this one makes your bath water pink with hearts in. This bath bomb is sweetly scented but very calming and that's down to tonka absolute, vanilla, neroli oil and lavender. This bath bomb is on the cheaper side at £2.75 but it's still really good and smells amazing.
The Comforter Bubble Bar- I know that this bubble bar is a lot of peoples favourite and it is one of mine. This bubble bar makes the water purple and it makes so many bubbles; you're supposed to break off a bit each time but I use the whole thing and that makes a lot of bubbles. This scent is blackcurrant because it has cassis absolute and cypress oil. This bubble bar is £4.95, which is one of the most expensive but it is worth it because you can get a lot of bubble out of it.
Intergalactic Bath Bomb- This bath bomb is very similar to The Experimenter because it gives a lot of colours and that's why I think I love it. This bath bomb makes your water mainly dark blue but it also does give colour of pink, green and yellow, which makes the bath really pretty. This bath bomb has peppermint oil, grapefruit oil, vetivert oil and cedarwood oil inside which makes the bath bomb have a lovely scent and this scent even makes my room smell. This bath bomb is £4.25, which is expensive but I do love it.
So they are my favourite products from Lush. Let me know in the comments below what your favourite products from Lush as everyone has different and maybe I can try some that I've never tried before.

February Favourites | 2017
As we are now in March (seriously how?!?) it's time for me to share with you my favourites from last month. This month I found it easy to think of fashion and beauty favourites but I found it hard to think of lifestyle favourites so I have decided to include more music favourites as my lifestyle faves are pretty much the same as last month.
Black Minimalist Backpack- This month I decided to get a bigger backpack because my small ones were too small so I got this one from New Look. It's really nice and it goes with all outfits. It also looks really cute and is so much more handy than carrying around a handbag on your arms.
Wine Red Off The Shoulder Jumper- Over the last two months or so I have been loving off the shoulder so earlier this month I picked up this wine red jumper and I love it so much. It's really comfy and I love the colour as it's so beautiful. This is from Primark and was £6 which is a bargain.
Ivy Park T-Shirt- This has been one of my favourite tops to wear because I love the material of it and I know some people don't like branded stuff but I kinda do sometimes so I really like this top and it looks really nice with jeans. This was from Topshop and was £16 which is expensive but it is good quailty.
Real Techniques Brushes- Over the last couple of months I have been buying the Real Techniques brushes and they are so good and I can't believe I hadn't bought them before. They're really soft and they apply makeup so nicely. I think my favourite is the foundation brush as it really blends in my foundation.
NYX Butter Glosses- Now I have quite a few of these in my collection and I really like them. They have a really, creamy formula and they look gorgeous on the lips. There is also a huge shade range which means you can get pinks, red, nudes, purples depending on whatever you prefer.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation- I picked this foundation up because I had tried loads of other Rimmel foundations and they were all good so I bought this one. This one is really good and it is high coverage which is good because I need my foundation to cover my dark under eye circles as well as concealer.
Drawers- These drawers hold my makeup collection, other beauty bits and also school stuff and they have made my room look so much more cleaner and I wonder why I never got drawers sooner. They're from Amazon and were around £20 but the shipping was about £8 which is really good.
YouTube- In the past month I have been watching a lot of YouTube and I have definitely preferred it to TV or even Netflix as I haven't found anything that I've really wanted to watch. I have been watching a range of YouTubers and even TV shows on there so I don't actually have a particular channel that's been a favourite.
Favourite Songs- This month I have chosen two songs because I couldn't think of another lifestyle favourite. My favourite songs have been Castle On The Hill by Ed Sheeran (I do like Shape Of You but I prefer Castle On The Hill) and September Song by JP Cooper. These are the songs I have been listening to and singing along to the most.
They have been my favourites from the month of February. I am actually in shock with how quickly this month has gone and before we know it, it will be Christmas again which is such a scary thought!

January Favourites | 2017
It's that time of the month where I share all of the products that I have been loving recently. Sadly I didn't get a chance to do a December Favourites because I was ill at the end of the month so these favourites are kinda from December as well but it doesn't matter if I didn't share them with you.
Real Techniques Brushes- At the end of December I decided to buy some Real Techniques brushes because I've wanted them for ages and I'm so glad I finally bought them because they are amazing and I definitely want to get some more and I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner.
Benefit They're Real Mascara- When I first bought this mascara I wasn't too keen on it because it kept clumping my lashes together but when I started using this mascara for more natural looks it definitely worked better so I'm using this mascara for school and for when I want big lashes I'm going to use my Maybelline mascara.
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation- I loved the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation but I ran out of that so I decided to try this foundation and I really like it; I'm not sure what one I would choose as my favourite but this is definitely better than the other foundations I have. Next up I want to try the Rimmel foundation that has the red lid.
Khaki Jumper from H&M- This time last year I probably wouldn't have worn this colour but as my style has evolved I now really like this khaki colour. This jumper is really nice to wear and it is actually quite cosy. I like wearing it with my black jeggings and my leather jacket and that is an outfit I've been wearing quite a bit.
Pink Off The Shoulder Jumper from Primark- Like the khaki jumper this is another jumper I have been wearing a lot. I didn't think I would like the off the shoulder style but I bought this jumper anyway and I do really like it and I'm not actually that cold when I wear it. This was from Primark and it was only £6 which is a bargain.
Indigo Blue Jeggings- I went through a period of hating jeans but after I tried the Primark black jeggings I kinda came obsessed and got some more pairs and my favourite at the moment has to be the indigo blue pair and I've actually been wearing with a lot more outfits that I thought and they were only £6.
A5 Organiser from Paperchase- At the end of December I decided to get a new planner for the new year and I'm obsessed with it. I've definitely streamlined my planning and at the end of the 2016 I was feeling quite unmotivated and this has definitely helped me to become more motivated with school and my blog.
Lush Baths- At the moment I have a lot of Lush bath bombs and bubble bars, which means that I have been able to have lots of baths. I still have a lot left but I having been buying a lot but that's because at this moment in time I'm obsessed with having baths and I love having a bath bomb or use a bubble bar in my bath.
Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding- I've decided that this year I'm going to read one book a month (I hardly read so I feel like this is realistic for me) and for January I'm finishing Bridget Jones Diary. I love it and when I finish it I definitely want to watch the film and also read the next two books.
Bad Things by Machine Gun Kelly and Camilla Cabello- This has been my favourite song of the month and there's actually been quite a lot of good music this month like the two new Ed Sheeran songs but this has been my utltimate favourite and I have listened to it so much but I still love it.
They're all my favourites from the month. I think my new way of doing monthly favourite posts will be to have three fashion items, three beauty products, three lifestyle things and a song, let me know if you like that idea!

Drugstore Faves
If you've been reading my blog for quite a while you would know that I'm a huge fan of drugstore makeup so obviously that means I have my favourite products and that's exactly what I'm going to share with you today.
Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation- I recently picked up this foundation in Boots because I needed a new one and I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. It's very light on the skin and I do forget I'm wearing it, which is a good thing. It also matches my skin really well and it's easy to blend and overall it's an amazing foundation.
Rimmel London Clear Complexion Powder- While on the topic of Rimmel I also recently picked up a new powder (this time in Tesco, not Boots) and I defiantly prefer it to the Stay Matte powder. I don't really know what to say about a powder but this powder isn't cakey and looks and sets my foundation and concealer really well
Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palettes- I now have two of these palettes and I would really recommend them; my favourite blush is MAC and that's way better but these are amazing for £6. They're so pigmented and there some real;y pretty colours and it's a good way of trying out colours if your getting into makeup.
Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks- What a surprise that I'm talking about these! You probably know by now that these lipsticks are my favourite as I talk about them all the time and I've done a lot of reviews on them but the formula is amazing (especially the matte ones) and they look so nice.
MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed- Sadly I can't take a picture of this as I had to chuck mine away as it smashed (RIP) but I did really like this eyeshadow palette. You get 12 shades for £4 and they were so easy to blend and create looks with. They were also really pigmented and this is an amazing dupe for the Naked palette (even though I've never tried it)
Barry M Nail Paints- These are my favourite nail polishes and you would've seen them in my recent nail polish collection blog post. They last for a long time and the colour selection is amazing and it's my go to stand in the drugstore to get my nail polishes from and they're also really affordable, which is a definite bonus in my eyes.
Zoella Beauty- I wanted to include some other beauty products and I actually like Zoella Beauty. Some products aren't that good (like the lip balm which is really bad) but there are some good products such as the makeup bags, body mists and shower gels. It's definitely hit or miss but there are good products.
So they're all my current drugstore favourites and I'll probably do an updated one in a couple of months as I'm sure I'll find some products that I really like. Let me know in the comments below what your favourite product from the drugstore is.

2016 Favourites
At the end of 2015 I did do a 2015 Favourites and because I did one for last year and it's only fair, I thought I would do an end of year favourites post to round up everything thing I have been loving this past year. 2016 for me personally was an alright year but for everything else it's been a year to forget with the UK leaving the EU and all those celebrities who sadly past away in the first couple of months of the year.
The first category is Fashion
Jumpers from H&M- This year has seen my jumper collection grown in size that I now have a whole dedicated to them but I've found my favourite jumpers are from H&M. They have some really nice designs and lots are only £5.99 which is a bargain and actually cheaper than Primark and are better quailty.
Leggings from Primark- I first discovered these leggings towards the end of last year and this year I've lived in them. They're £2.50 (they used to be £3) and they're really comfy and thick, which is great. I haven't really tried out any other shops' leggings because I'm going to stick to these.
Handbag from H&M- You guys know how I love my handbags (I will be doing a Handbag Collection this year) but my favourite one has been this one from H&M. It's probably one of the best quailty bags I have and I've used it for school and as my handbag and I love it as you can fit so much in it.
Boots from Primark- I only really buy my shoes in Primark because they fit the best and this autumn/winter they've really upgraded their boots and they're incredible. At the time of writing I have three pairs of ankle boots and I wear them so much and I really want to get more because they're incredible.
Leather Jacket from Primark- I featured this in my 2015 Favourites but I have still been wearing it loads and loving it. This particular one is from 2015 but they probably do similar. I've really been getting into jackets and coats recently and I actually care and put thought into what jacket/coat goes with my outfit.
Beauty
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation- I've mentioned this foundation loads because I love it and I wanted to include it in this favourites to remind everyone how much I love it. You can build up this foundation to whatever coverage you want so it's perfect for school, everyday or for a long day out.
Essence All Eyes On Me Waterproof Mascara- Mascara is one of my favourite makeup products and this has been my favourite mascara of the year. It makes my lashes really long and it is a waterproof mascara because some claim to be waterproof but when you use them they're not. This is only £2 in Wilko which is a bargain!
Makeup Revolution Blush Palettes- This year I've really been getting into blushes and too increase my colour range I picked up these blush palettes in Superdrug for £6 each and OMG they are incredible. They are so pigmented and there are some gorgeous shades that I love experimenting with.
Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks- I have mentioned these lipsticks a lot this year because they have become my favourite lipsticks so I wanted to include them in this favourites post. I have 5 shades at the moment in nudes, pinks and a red and I wear them a lot because the formula is amazing (especially the matte formula).
Victoria's Secret Makeup Bag- Obviously this isn't a makeup product but I have been loving my Victoria's Secret Makeup Bag because it's big enough to keep all of my everyday makeup in and it's really good quality but I would expect that for something that was £22.
Music
The last post I did was My 2016 Playlist and in my 2015 Favourites last year I included a music category so I thought I would choose five favourite songs from the year and include them in this music category.
-7 Years by Lukas Graham
-Closer by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey
-Tears by Clean Bandit featuring Louisa Johnson
-Secret Love Song Part I.I by Little Mix
-Perfect Strangers by Jonas Blue featuring J.P. Cooper
YouTube
A lot of this year I haven't really been watching many of my subscriptions and only the videos I'm interested in but I still have some YouTube favourites although they're not your typical Zoella or Tanya Burr.
-Eve Bennett
-Floral Princess (Anastasia)
-Gabriella/velvetgh0st
-My Green Cow (Daisy)
-Tammy Hembrow (I also love her Instagram)
Food and Drink
Food (and drink) is a huge part of my life and I have so many foods I love (like my all time favourite Chocolate M&Ms) so it was hard to choose three foods but I'm very happy with my choice and I feel like they represent what I've been eating a lot in 2016.
Food
-Smarties
-Spaghetti Carbonara
-Cookies and bakery products
Drink
-Diet Coke
-Apple Tango
Random
(Sorry for the yellow lighting)
HP Laptop-This year I got a new laptop because my old Toshiba one kept shutting down and it made a lot of noise so I got a new one and I love it. It's so quick and I love it. I use my laptop a lot and I definitely use it a lot more now I have a good one that is reliable.
Billy And Me- This year I tried to get back into reading and I would say I've done alright actually. My favourite book has been Billy And Me by Giovanna Fletcher and I mentioned it in a monthly favourites in the summer and it's really good. I read it really quickly and that says something. It is quite cliche but I don't mind.
Samsung Galaxy A3- In late October I got a new phone and I am in love with it so much that I had to mention it. I had a Windows before and that was terrible so I'm never going back but Samsung is incredible and I also love the rose gold colour.
Victoria's Secret Body Mists- You guys know how much I love these so obviously I had to give them a cheeky shoutout in my yearly favourites. I think my favourite one is Pure Seduction and I know that's my sister's favourite one. I also really like the Victoria's Secret Pink ones too.
Organising and Paperchase A5 Organisers- I've always been quite an organised person but this year I trialled out planning and for the first 6 months I had a Tesco planner and then I moved into a ring and never looked back. I love how you can customise the inserts to whatever you want so it means I can have school and general life all in one.
That was everything I have been loving in 2016. Can you believe that tomorrow is 2017 because I find it mind blowing as it feels like yesterday we were welcoming 2016. I will be doing a post mentioning all of my 2017 goals (I don't like to call them resolutions) and that will probably be coming tomorrow.
Happy New Year! xxx

November Favourites
It's that time of the month where I share everything I have been loving recently and to be completely honest I found it quite hard to choose things to put in my favourites so this month I only have six favourites; I think its because I found it so easy to choose favourites last month so this month it was quite hard.
New Handbag from New Look- Every month in my favourites I always share the new handbag I have that much (I have a serious handbag problem) and this month is no different. This bag is from New Look and I love it because it's a perfect size and I love that it has a shoulder strap and also handles to use on the crook of your arm or hands. It was also £18.99 which is a great price.
Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme Mascara- When I first got this mascara I didn't really like it and that put me off Maybelline mascaras as I know my friend Nicha doesn't like the Lash Sensational mascara but since using this for over a month now I actually quite like it and it does give a lot of volume.
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer- In my favourites last month I featured the foundation and this month I'm mentioning the concealer! This concealer is really good at covering and brightening my dark circles although not fully as I have the darkest dark circles and nothing can cover them completely.
Lush Christmas Collection- I only really go to Lush at Christmas time and that's because I love the Christmas scents and bath bombs and bubble bars. My favourite Christmas bath bomb is So White and it smells of apples and my favourite Christmas bubble bar is Candy Mountain and I love the Snow Fairy shower gel.
Costa Christmas Drinks- I love Costa anytime of the year but at Christmas time they pull it out the bag. I was really excited to learn they brought back my favourite from last year, the Black Forest Hot Chocolate but when I had it I was kind of disappointed because it wasn't the same as last year but the Mint Hot Chocolate is incredible.
Black Mirror on Netflix- This has been my TV favourite of the month and I started watching Black Mirror after Tanya Burr mentioned it in her October Favourites and I was having a sick day off school so I started to watch it and omg it's incredible and I would recommend it as every episode is different.
That's all of my favourites this month and there wasn't many but I do really love these favourites and I didn't want to put any favourites in here for the sake of it but I'm sure I'll probably have lots of December Favourites.

My Current Lifestyle Faves | November 2016
Today I'm going to be sharing with you some of my current favourites that are quite random but favourites that I wanted to share with you anyway. In the past I have done fashion and beauty versions of this post so if you would like to see them let me know in the comments below.
Paperchase A5 Planners- You know I love my planners and you know that I love the A5 size. Above is the planner that I'm currently using and it was from Paperchase and I love it. At this present moment in time I have 2 but I'll probably get more in the future.
Crayola Supertips Markers- When it was back to school season I bought a massive 50 pack for £4.50 and these are really good. I don't use them that much as I love my Sharpies but these are great.
Postcards from Paperchase- A way I have started decorating in my planner is using postcards (all mine are from Paperchase) and I love the ones from Paperchase because they have so many cute designs (sorry for the swearing on one of them).
Laptop- A couple of months ago I got a new laptop because the one I had kept shutting down unexpectedly and was quite old and I love my new one. All I know it's HP but it's really good and I use it so much
Body Mists- You probably know this favourite about how much I love the Victoria's Secret body mists and I'm still loving them. I love all the ones I have but the ones in the picture is Pure Seduction and Love Addict.
Daily Journaling- This is kind of like a diary but I don't treat it as a diary. Every night before bed I sit down with this and some YouTube and just write about the day and decorate. I decorate different every single day depending on my mood.
Other Favourites-
Victoria's Secret & Victoria's Secret Pink- These have been my favourite shop at the moment and I love both their beauty sections and I will even be doing a review soon on the Pink body care.
Netflix- A couple of months ago I got Netflix and I love it. I'm not really someone that watches TV but I have been watching a lot of TV shows on Netflix and I love how it automatically plays the next one after.
Plan With Me YouTube videos- I've done a Plan With Me in the past I think and there is one coming up on the blog but I love watching them and I've been watching a lot of Erin Condren ones with all of the stickers and now I want one.
Westfield- Westfield Stratford City has been my favourite shopping centre recently and luckily for me it's quite near where I live so that's good but they have some amazing shops there that I love.
That's all of my current favourites which are part of the lifestyle category. In the comments section below let me know what your current favourites are because I would love to know.

October Favourites
As we wave October goodbye it's only fitting to do an October Favourites. This months favourite includes fashion, makeup, TV shows and a planner. I found it really easy to choose my favourites this month but it was hard to only choose 8 (or however many favourites I actually have).
Makeup Revolution Sugar and Spice Blush Palette- When I was in Superdrug this month I decided to get a blush palette because I only had like three blushes and I've really been liking blush. This palette is incredible; the shades are so beautiful and pigmented and my favourite two are the two on the far right.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation- I've wanted this foundation for months but I always forget about it when in Superdrug and if I remembered they didn't have my shade. I've been using this for a couple of weeks and I love it because it lasts all day and has really good coverage.
Metallic A5 Organiser from Paperchase- When I was in the Tottenham Court Road Paperchase I went to the sale section and found this gorgeous planner for £6.50 and there wasn't anything else I liked so I went to the till and found out I had £5 off so I got this for £1.50 which is amazing and there's nothing faulty with the planner.
Black and White Trousers from Primark- I've wanted trousers like this for a while now but I had never got them because I don't really like trousers but OMG I love these; they're so comfy and I can create loads of outfits with them- although I make sure it's a plain top and I wear a lot of black with these.
Tan Handbag from Primark- Lots of girls from my school do have this as their school bag but I use this as my handbag because using a Primark bag for school is not the wisest option (I've been there). I wanted a big shoulder bag because I didn't have any and it means I get a lot of room but I don't have to carry it in my hands.
Autumn is when all the good TV shows come back and I have so many shows that I want to watch on Netflix and shows on BBC and ITV iPlayer but shows I have been watching and loving has been:
-Haters Back Off on Netflix (this is the Miranda Sings show)
-The Mummy Diaries- Sam Faiers on ITVbe
-Strictly Come Dancing and It Takes Two on BBC One and Two
That's everything I've been loving in the month of October. Can you believe that it's November because I can't. I thought last year went fast but this year has gone so fast, January feels like yesterday.
