Lush Collection

The other day I was looking at all my Lush stuff and realised that because I had so much I should do a post on it; today we have my Lush Collection and I'm rounding up all my Lush products and share them with you. There is some Christmas & Valentine's Day bath stuff in this post and that's because I haven't used them yet.

Christmas-
-Candy Mountain bubble bar
-Never Mind The Ballistic bath bomb
-Magic Wand bubble bar wand

Valentine's Day-
-Rose Bombshell bath bomb
-Unicorn Horn bubble bar

Normal Range-
-Intergalactic bath bomb
-Big Bang bubble bar
-Think Pink bath bomb
-Milky Bath bubble bar
-The Experimenter bath bomb
-The Comforter bubble bar

That's all the Lush products that I currently have. In case you are wondering I store these in a large Lush bag and I store them in there because the bag is really cute and because the bag is big I can randomly choose a bath bomb or bubble bar because I like choosing from random.

Nail Polish Collection

Nail polish isn't something that I talk about much on my blog so that's why today's post is dedicated to it and I'm going to show you my collection. I don't really have that many but I do have quite a few and a few from different brands including Barry M, Models Own, Rimmel London and many more!

Rimmel London
I have two nail polishes from Rimmel and I really like them because they last for a long time and they don't chip that easily which I like. The two that I have are from the Rita Ora collection and I have 860 Bestival Blue (which is a gorgeous blue shade) and also 498 Rain Rain Go Away (which is a nude shade that I currently have on my toes). Rimmel London nail polishes range from £2.99 to £5.99.

Miss Sporty
I have three Miss Sporty Clubbing Colour nail polishes and they're not the best in my collection because they do chip quite easily so they don't last that long; you also need quite a few coats to get an opaque colour. The polishes don't have shade name on them but I have a lilac, pink and a yellow shade. Miss Sporty nail polishes are £1.99.

Barry M
Barry M probably do my favourite nail paints and that's why I probably have the most of them. They don't chip that much and you only need about two coats to get an opaque colour. There are also different formulas such as Matte and Gelly Hi Shine. The shades I have are Espresso (a matte black), Berry Cosmo, Matt White, Rose Hip (a Gelly Hi Shine Pink), Green Berry (Gelly Hi Shine formula), Fondant (Gelly Hi Shine Lilac) and finally Almond (a Gelly Hi Shine formula). Barry M nail paints are around the £3.99 point.

Collection
I really like Collection makeup and there nail polishes don't disappoint. I have two Collection Up To 7 Day Wear Nail polishes and they probably wouldn't last 7 days but they would last around five days, which is good. The two shades I have are Sonic Blue and Lilac Daze and the nail polishes are around £2.99.

Models Own
I received some Models Own nail polishes in a Christmas gift set and I do really like them; there was 4 in the set but I did chuck one away as it got a bit disgusting. Mine are all the HyperGel formula and I really like it and it looks really nice on the nails. The three colours I have are Red Lusture, Purple Glare and Cerise Shine (the other one in the set was a light pink). Models Own nail polishes are £5 and there's lot of different formulas and collections.

PS...
PS... is Primark's own makeup brand and part of that collection is nail polishes and I have two from when I did a blog post reviewing Primark makeup and to be honest I don't really like them because they chip really easily and you need a few coats when applying, even the black. The two shades I have are Baby Doll (light pink) and Twilight (black). The PS... nail polishes are 80p.
Sinful Shine
I only have one nail polish from Sinful Shine and that was because Kylie Jenner had a collection with them in Superdrug and I bought one and also the top coat. I didn't think that this nail polish was very good as it chipped not long after I started wearing it, which was a shame. The shade I have is Miss Chief King Kylie and when I bought it was £3.

MUA
Like with Sinful Shine I only have one nail varnish from MUA and I actually really like it because for £1 it's good quailty for the price. Obviously it did chip but it did go for around 4 days without chipping so if you have 20p extra I would definitely recommend you get one from MUA instead of from Primark. I have the shade Pistachio Ice Cream and MUA polishes are £1.

That's all the nail polishes that I have and I hope you enjoyed seeing all of the ones I have and also seeing a little review on them. Let me know in the comments below what your favourite nail varnish brand is- mine is probably Barry M.

Handbag Collection | 2017

If you know me you know I love handbags and because of my love for them I have quite a huge collection. I do have way too many handbags but I have used all of my handbags and I do love them all, even if I don't use them that often. Also most of my handbags are from Primark, H&M or New Look so they were all cheap and the most expensive bag in this collection was £39.99.
Black and White Clasp Small Shoulder Bag from Primark- I used this bag quite a bit over the beginning of summer and I really like it but I stopped using it because I do prefer bigger bags and this had limited space.

Pink Bucket Bag from Primark- This bag was the bag that I did my first ever What's In My Bag with so it does bring back memories. I still really love this bag after getting it in the summer of 2015 and I used it so much and I was going to use it last summer but I forgot.

Light Pink Clasp Small Shoulder Bag from New Look- I've had this bag for ages (I think I got it 2014?) and to be honest I don't use it much, which is a shame because it's a nice bag but it's not my favourite out of what I have.

Tan Tassel Bucket Bag from H&M- I bought this bag in October in the sale and I haven't used it yet but I'm saving it for the summer as I feel like it suits that season more than at the moment.
Small Black Shoulder Bag from Primark- This is a bag that I always forget I have and it is a nice simple bag but the only reason I don't really use these small bags is because they don't fit my purse in and I hate downsizing my purse and I also hate folding notes.

Light Pink Three Section Small Shoulder Bag from Primark- I actually really like this bag and I actually want to start using it again (even if it means folding notes). To be honest I did forget I have this so that's why I want to start using it again.

Fake Pink Chanel 2.55 from Egypt- I always ask myself the question why did I get this in pink not black because if I did get it in black I would use it so much more and also it would look more real but I do really like the bag and the colours nice but it's just too bright.

Big Black & Gold Handbag from H&M- I had seen loads of people with this bag and I loved it so I got it myself. I've used it as a normal handbag and also as a school bag and it was great as both but I'm going to stick to it as a handbag.

Grey Three Section Small Handbag from Primark- I've had this bag for ages and every time I go back to it I love it. It's a great size and I also love the colour and the idea with the three pockets.

Tan and Blue Handbag from New Look- I really like this bag and I used it a lot at the beginning of 2016. It's a great size because it's not too big but it's not too small and because of the colour it goes with every outfit.

Black and Gold Three Section Handbag from Primark- I love this bag and I really want to start using it again because it's a great size and I love the idea of the three pockets and this bag was really organised when I was using it.

Taupe Two Section Handbag from Primark- This bag was bought not too long ago and I really like it however the only problem is that the way to close it is a tie thing and it's really hard to do, especially in a rush.

Coral Sactual from Primark- I used this bag quite a lot at the beginning of the year but I just stopped using it even though it is a nice bag. The only problem was that it was a bit too small for my liking but other than that it's a nice bag.

Black Tassel Handbag from H&M- This was another bag I really liked because I saw loads of people have and I got it myself. With this bag I prefer using it on the shoulder strap because the other strap is too short.

Tan Handbag from Primark- I didn't use this bag that much but I did use it for school a bit on days where I didn't have that much to bring (I mainly used it on the last week before the summer holidays) and it's a nice bag and I do really like it.

Large Tan Handbag from Primark- This was a birthday present last year and I do really like the bag but I found it was a bit too big so I might use it as a school bag but I think that might be quite uncomfortable.

White Clutch Bag from Primark- I bought this clutch bag (even though it is quite big for a clutch) for a party but to be completely honest I didn't really use it that much and I have kind of forgotten about it because it is quite awkward to get into.

Blue, White & Tan Backpack from Primark- I haven't really used this bag much but I actually want to use it again because it's a really nice design and I do want to start using backpacks again.

Floral Backpack from Primark- To be honest I haven't really used this bag much even though I do like it but obviously it's more of a spring bag so I'll probably use it when the spring rolls around.

Floral Backpack from Paperchase- This backpack was supposed to be my school bag but it kept coming apart so I gave up and used a different bag instead. It is a really nice bag and I might start using it again more in the summer.

Floral Superdry Backpack- This used to be my school bag but I had an incident with a Frube (it exploded in my bag) so it's a bit dirty inside so that put me off but I didn't throw the bag away as it was £39.99.

Hype Backpack- I got this for my school bag last year and I really liked it because you could tell it was good quailty and everything that I needed to take could fit in and overall I really like Hype backpacks and I would recommend.

Black & Gold Small Handbag from New Look- At this moment in time this is the bag that I'm using and I do really like it because it goes with every outfit and it's a great size for all of your essentials.

Tan Shoulder Handbag from Primark- Okay this is the final bag in this collection and we finish this off with the school bag I'm using at the moment. It's a great size but I don't want to put too much in there as I don't want the bag to break.

Wow. I didn't realise I had that many bags and I am kind of ashamed of myself because this amount of bags is insane to have. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know of other posts you want to see. Also follow/add me on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat where my username is @louisecarterr on all three.

Makeup Collection

Todays post is a post I'm so excited about because today I'm finally going to be showing you my makeup collection. I know I have more makeup than I need but I love buying makeup and I do have a weakness for a lot of makeup products (mascaras, lipsticks and palettes are my biggest).

Most of my makeup is stored in these acrylic drawers which are from Tiger (the top 2 and thing on top) and Primark (the bottom four) but in this wooden crate, from Primark, I have two more acrylic storage that stores lip products and they're both from Tiger. I really like my makeup storage and it was really cheap.

This is what I keep on top of the drawers and it's four of my mini Victoria's Secret body mists (from L-R Exotic, Love Spell, Aqua Kiss and Temptation) and also a Victoria's Secret rollerball in the Crush scent. I also have a brush cleanser from Studio London and a sharpener, also from Studio London.

The first drawer contains face products so the three extra foundations I have are the Collection Naturally Matt Foundation, Miss Sporty Insta Glow Foundation and the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. I also have the Fit Me concealer and two blushes- one from Technic and a MUA blush in Bubble Gum.

The second drawer is also face products and I keep my Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in Hot Spice, the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer, the MUA Mosaic Bronzer, a Technic Powder and finally a Miss Sporty Insta Glow Foundation.

Now the next three drawers are all about eye products so I have the Barry M Natural Glow Eyeshadow and Primer Palette 2 and also a PS... 8 Shade Day Eyeshadow Palette, which wouldn't open when I tried to take a picture of it. The rest of the products are from Technic and there's some eyeshadow applicators, two eyeliners (a brown and black) and three cream eyeshadows in white, orange and blue.

The fourth drawer down is another drawer dedicated to eyes but I also have a Zoella Beauty Blissful Mistful Solid Fragrance because I didn't know where to put it. I also have a Collection Eyes Uncovered Palette because it didn't fit in the third drawer, three little Technic eyeshadows quads and two Collection mascaras- the Super Size and Longer Lash.

The last drawer is mainly about mascaras but there's also my only brow product but that should probably go into my everyday makeup bag. The mascaras I have are the Miss Sporty Pump Up 24 Booster Waterproof Mascara, Technic Get Lashed Mascara, PS... Volumising Mascara, Technic Monster Lash Mascara and my favourite Essence All Eyes On Me Waterproof Mascara. The brow product I have is the Rimmel London Brow This Way Clear Brow Gel.

The last drawer is my lip drawer and inside I have a Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick in a nude shade (can't remember the name), a PS... Matte lip crayon in Nude Beach, a red PS... lip crayon, a Collection Work The Colour Lip Crayon, two of the PS... Liquid Lipsticks, two lip liners from Technic and a Zoella Kissy Missy Lip Balm.

The rest of my lip products are in acrylic storage from Tiger and this particular one was £3. The first row I have some of my Baby Lips, the second row has two Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks and a lipstick from Technic and the last row has two more Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks and a Technic Lip Gloss.

This is the other acrylic storage from Tiger and this one was £4 because it's a little bigger. Firstly on the left I have three body sprays and a L'Oreal hairspray. Then on the first row I have a Barry M lipstick, a Clinque lipstick and a Technic lipgloss. The second row has two nude Technic lipsticks and a Givency Nude Lipstick and lastly the last row has Technic lip crayons and Technic lip glosses (one in nude, one in pink and the other is red).

Just thought I would quickly show you where I store my makeup brushes are stored and they're not very clean and I hate the storage but I want to get a new mug or cup for it. Most of my brushes are from Studio London and they're really good quailty.

That was my long awaited collection and I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry I didn't go into too much detail about every single product but if you would like some more information let me know in the comments below. Also follow me on Twitter (@louisecarterr) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider)

Beauty Spotlight | Collection

You might remember I did a Beauty Spotlight back in January (for Barry M- LINK) but today I have one for Collection as I have been using a lot of their makeup recently and I am happy with pretty much all of the products I've tried so far and I've tried products from foundation to eyeliner to nail polish. This will be quite a long post so get comfy and get some food.

Firstly we have the Collection Naturally Matt Foundation which claims to give you an 'all day fresh matt finish' and I can say it does. I don't think everyone would like it as some people want a glowy, dewy finish but this one is more of an everyday one if you like the natural look. It's also really easy to blend (however I prefer to use a brush than a Beauty Blender) and it lasts all day if you set it well. I also want to try the Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation but I'm currently using 2 different ones so I'm going to wait. This is £2.99 which is amazing for a foundation.

Next up we have the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which is the drugstore concealer everyone talks about and so am I now! This is a great concealer as it's covers and brightens under eye circles so you look more awake and more healthier but it's also good for blemishes but as I luckily *touch wood* don't have any I use this more for under eyes. This is £4.19

Something now to set all of the foundation and concealer is the Collection Pressed Powder in the shade Ivory 18. I really like this powder as it's cheap and cheerful so it's amazing if you're on a budget but it does set your makeup into place all day but I do like to carry this is my handbag. This is £1.99.

Lastly for face products we have a bronzer and it's the Collection Bronze Glow Mosaic Bronzer in 2 Radiant. This bronzer is perfect for the summer as there is loads of gorgeous shades and looks amazing when you swirl your brush around in the pot. It also gives you a nice healthy glow which is good if you're not going away to a hot country to get a natural tan (like me). This is £2.99

Moving onto products for the eyes (there's a lot of mascaras so I've warned you) and we're going to start off with the Collection Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Palette in Nude. I love this eyeshadow and it's perfect for someone on a budget as the pigmentation is amazing especially the darker shades (swatches are above). All of the shades in this palette are really neutral so it's the best one out of the Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Palettes for the most neutral look. This is £3.99.

Next up we have the Collection Extreme 24Hr Felt Tip Liner in Black 1. I think this is the cheapest felt tip liner in the drugstore (but I could be wrong) and it's a really good one. It's really easy to apply because of the shape of the nib is a great size to do a perfect winged liner. It also has a good lasting time (pretty much all day) and doesn't smudge unless you really rub your eyes so I don't carry this round when I'm wearing it. This is £2.99

Onto the billions of Collection mascaras I have (I only have 4) we'll start with the Collection Supersize Fat Lash Mascara. This mascara does what it says on the packaging and makes you have really long and volumised lashes which I really love. This mascara is perfect for when you go on night outs as it will last you all night without top ups and if you're not a fan of false lashes (I'm not) this will give you false lashes effect lashes. This is £2.99.

Next up we have the Collection Lengthening Waterproof Mascara which is one of the mascaras I wear the most. I wear this a lot because it's a really nice natural mascara whilst still giving you length. This is a good waterproof mascara although it can go clumpy if you start to cry or your eyes water but it doesn't clump you lashes when you apply it so that's the only problem but overall it is a good mascara and I will continue to wear it on the daily. I do also have the non waterproof one (which I forgot I had until the other day) and that's the same but not waterproof so it doesn't have the clumping issue. This is £3.99

Now we have a very similar mascara to the one above and it's the Collection Volumising Waterproof Mascara so the same but the volumising one. Unlike the Supersize Fat Lash Mascara above this one isn't as volumised but still gives you really nice lashes and they're not too in your face which is good for everyday and I still wear this to school and it doesn't look fake. This is £3.99

The last mascara is the Collection Longer Lash Lengthening Mascara (couldn't find a link but I bought mine in Tesco). This one is really lengthening and really separates your lashes which I really like and your lashes are really fluttery and cute which I really like especially for natural, relaxed days. This is £2.99

Not long to go now! Moving onto lips firstly we have the Collection Lasting Colour Matte Lipsticks in Paper Rose and Pink Diva . Both of these shades are gorgeous being a matte nude (paper rose) and a dark pink (Pink Diva) and they also both last for a long time even whilst eating and drinking so I was very impressed. These are both £2.99

Just like above we have the Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks in Cupcake Pink and Delicious Candy. Unlike above these are glossy and not matte but I don't always want matte and these 2 are more natural pinks which I really like to wear. They're also very moisturising and don't make my lips go all chapped which I hate. There's also a good colour selection so there's something for everyone. These are both £2.99

Lastly for lips we have the Collection Work The Colour Moisturising Lip Butter in Popping Pink. I don't normally go for lip butters but I really like this one as the colour is gorgeous and is really moisturising. Sadly I got a rubbish one and most of the product came out and I will get a new one in this colour because I really like it. This is £2.99

Finally the last product but you're probably not even reading anymore and it's the Collection Up To 7 Day Nail Polish in Sonic Blue. I really like the colour of this and I'm currently wearing it on my toenails as it's something very different especially for me. This is a good quailty nail polish and doesn't chip for quite a few days which I really like especially for the price. This is £1.99

OMG that was longer than I expected and I hope you read it all but I did really like making it. I won't keep you any longer but before you go follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider)
