Wilko Stationery Haul (and a few other things)

Recently I went to Wilko because I wanted to get some stuff (I didn't really know what I was going to get) and I also knew I wanted to get a binder for school to keep at home (which I got). There's quite a bit of stationery in this haul but there's a couple of beauty bits and most importantly, food!

Wilko A4 Clear Zipper Bag- Lots of people use these as homework folders but I already have a homework folder but I still picked one up and at the moment I'm using these for spare inserts for my planner because as I have a lot of planners, it means I have a lot of inserts to go along with the planner.
This was 50p from Wilko

Wilko Extra Strong A4 Punched Pockets- If you're getting a binder, you need to get some punched pockets so I got some and in the binder I'm going to use these for tests because tests are hard to hole punch and they're usually quite thick.
These were 75p from Wilko

Wilko Subject Dividers- Like with the punch pockets you need to get some dividers with a binder so I got a simple, cheap pack of colourful dividers because dividers are dividers and they all do the same job and I'm going to use these to separate each subject.
These were 30p from Wilko

Wilko Tribes Lever Arch- And this is the binder that I keep talking about! I love this tribes print and I love all of the colours of it. This binder is Lever Arch and because I won't need the stuff what's in it for school, I'm keeping it at home and I like to keep revision notes in here and any tests.
This was £2 from Wilko

2x Wilko Tribes Exercise Books- I love the Wilko exercise books and whenever Wilko release a new collection and I like it, I like to buy a couple of designs of the exercise books. I don't have a use for these yet but I always use notebooks so I know they will come in handy.
These were £1 each from Wilko

Sharpie Fine Permanent Black Markers 2x- The black Sharpie is always my most-used and the one I use up first so whilst a 2 pack of black Sharpie's were on offer I decided to get some for when mine run out.
These were £1.50 from Wilko (was £2)

Cadbury's Heroes Bag 93g- I love Heroes and when I saw the bag I needed to get a pack because I've had a bag before and it's better to have for yourself than have a tub to yourself. My favourite hero is the Wispa or Dairy Milk and I hate eclairs; whats your favourite?
These were £1 from Wilko

Wilko Baby Soft & Gentle 80 Baby Wipes Fragrance Free- Baby wipes are a good thing to have (even if you don't have a baby) because you never know when you are going to need to a wipe. Just to let you know the lift up-lift-thing came off but I've found it now and stuck it back on.
These were 95p from Wilko

Wilko Massage Sponge- If you've read a lot of my Wilko's hauls you would've known that I always got a bath sponge but now I always get a massage sponge because I like them and I love the massage bit and I always play with it as well.
This was 40p from Wilko

Wilko Fruits Strawberry & Pomegranate and Coconut & Vanilla Fragrance Explosion Body Scrubs- These 95p body scrubs are my favourites so that's why I picked up 2 and these two are my favourite scents that Wilko do. These body scrubs are really moisturising and the scent is really strong which obviously is a good thing.
These were 95p each from Wilko

That's everything that I got and I hope you enjoyed this haul. My next two posts are going to be my Christmas gift guides for women and men so look out for them so you can get some gift ideas for your loved ones.

Random Essentials Wilko Haul Part 2

Today I have part 2 of the Wilko Haul which I posted the other day (before the Paperchase Haul) and in this haul I have a bunch of random stuff but I wanted to show you because I find it interesting and if I find it interesting there must be one other person somewhere that might find it interesting.

So in this haul there isn't much stationery because I need to limit my stationery buying so I got some Dovecraft Peel-Off Stickers in Gold and I've had these before but I ran out of the o's so I wanted to get another pack as these come in handy. I then repurchased some Wilko 12 Neon Stars and these are handy for captions and I used these in my planner on the dividers. Also I got some washi tape and this is Wilko Glitter Tape 3 Pack because I've been using metallic tapes recently so I wanted to get some thin ones. This isn't stationery but I did buy some Big & Chunky Maryland Cookies because they were only £1 and I really like them.

I ended up buying a lot of disposable dinner stuff so I got some Wilko 6 Pack Food Containers, Wilko Large Paper Plates 30 Pack, Wilko Functional Disposable Cutlery and Wilko 200 Neon Straws and it's not like I'm having a party of anything it's just that I can never be bothered to wash up so I got disposable and I know it's bad for the environment but I won't use them much.

I did buy a pack of Haribo Sour Suckers to have on the bus but I didn't eat them and I still haven't but I will. Then moving onto beauty I got a shower gel and this one is the Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Shower Gel and I didn't know Simple done this and this will be nice to use I think. Then I got some more deodorant and this is the Soft & Gentle Wild Rose & Vanilla Antiperspirant Deodorant and also I got a mini Impulse Mini True Love Body Fragrance because it's good to have in my bag.

I needed to get some more tissues as I had run out so I got Wilko Soft White Tissues- 70 Pack and the box is quite cute too. I also ran out of nail polish remover and they didn't have the one I normally get so I got Essence Quick & Easy Sponge Nail Polish Remover and I've used it and it's pretty good. I also bought some Wilko Pre-Glued False Nails as I hate gluing them on and lastly I got Wilko 200 Cotton Buds as I always use these to take off small bits of makeup and I use them when painting my nails.

Prices-
Neon Stars- 80p
Tissues- 40p
Alphabet Stickers- 50p
Maryland Cookies- £1
False Nails- £1.50
Food Containers- £1
Deodorant- 95p
Shower Gel- 95p
Sweets- 50p
Impulse- £1.25
Plates- 70p
Glitter Tape- £1.50
Cutlery- 60p
Nail Polish Remover- £3
Neon Straws- £1
Cotton Buds- 40p

That was the Wilko Haul finished! I feel like I've done a lot of hauls recently so I probably won't do some for a while and I have some (what I think are) good blog posts planned so get excited.

Random Essentials Wilko Haul

Today I have a Wilko Haul but this one is a little different because it's all random essentials (obviously there is some stationery but most of it is stuff I needed) and I thought this would be an interesting post because I like posts like this and maybe you do too. There will be a part 2 coming up in a couple of days because I didn't want this post to be too long.

Let's start with food as that's very important and I love food so I got some packs of chocolate and also some Nestle Polo Original 5 Pack because these will be handy to have in my bag and on my desk. Chocolate-wise I got some Cadbury Twirl 5 Pack and Terry's Chocolate Orange Chocolate Bars 3 Pack and they are my favourite chocolate because I love chocolate orange so much.

My second love is stationery and in Wilko I had to get a Pritt Stick 43g because my old glue stick was rubbish so I picked up a better one. Also in the stationery section I got a bunch of stickers- 2 packs for my planner and these are Wilko 495 Self-Adhesive Foil Stars and Wilko 560 Sticky Dots and then for my journal I got a children sticker book (lol) and it's a Wilko Princess Sticker and Scene Book- 500 Stickers and I got this because you get so many stickers for the price.

Next up I got a bunch of sponges and I got 2 Wilko Bath Sponges one in Blue and the other in white and I also picked up a Wilko Pink Massage Sponge because I've never used one before and it's good for exfoliating. Then I got a Charlie Pink Body Fragrance because these are good to have and I like having a small collection and because I don't have enough lip balms already (seriously I have so many) I got a Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy and I think I'm going to keep this in my bag.

Now onto the most random stuff I got some Wilko Baby Soft & Gentle 64 Baby Wipes Fragrance Free because sometimes I need a wipe and the only wipes I have are face wipes so I thought it would be good to have a pack. Then I got a new Colgate Extra Clean Toothbrush because dental hygiene is important and I also got some Always Maxi 12 Long Pads as you can never have enough. I also got some Carex Love Hearts Handwash because I guessed it would smell nice and it really does and lastly I got a Glade Be Romantic Room Spray for my room as obviously I want my room smelling good.

Prices-
Handwash- 90p (was £1.80)
Sticker Book- £1.50
Pads- £1.45
Room Spray- £1
Bath Sponges- 20p each
Body Fragrance- 80p (was £1.60)
Toothbrush- 50p
Twirls- £1
Baby Wipes- 50p
Massage Sponge- 40p
Terry's Chocolate Orange Bars- £1
Star Stickers- 50p
Polos- 95p
Sticky Dots- 50p
Vaseline- 95p (was £1.90)
Pritt Stick- £2.25

That's everything I got for this haul. Part 2 will be coming in a couple of days but before that I do have a Paperchase Haul so I don't bombard you with Wilko Hauls. In the comments below let me know what your favourite chocolate bar is- mine is either Terry's Chocolate Orange Chocolate Bars or Dairy Milk With Oreo.

Wilko Haul

Today I have another Wilko Haul as I picked up some new goodies and I went to Wilko with the intention of repurchasing my skincare (which I did) and also some journaling supplies as I can never have too many supplies.

As I said I got my skincare which is the Skin Therapy Tea Tree Facial Wash, Skin Therapy Tea Tree Gentle Facial Scrub and the Skin Therapy Tea Tree Moisturising Lotion. The face wash I use everyday but the scrub and moisturising lotion I only use every other day so one day I will just use the face wash and the next day I will use all three. Lastly on the beauty sides of things I got the Radox Feel Glam Shower Cream with Berry Burst because you always need shower gels.

For storage I bought Wilko 5 Stackable Storage Pots for any random little bits and bobs on my desk like paperclips and push pins. Then because I have lots of pens I got two more pen pots and these ones are the Wilko Copper Pen Pots which are really nice and different and add a touch of glamour to my boring desk.

All of the journaling supplies I got were some Dovercraft Peel Off Stickers because I needed some alphabet stickers as I had none, then I got Wilko Let's Create 20 Wax Crayons; yes I know these are childish but I wanted the effect in my journal and to go along with them I got Wilko Let's Create 50 Colouring Pencils but these are more for my colouring book. To add decoration to my journal I got Wilko Let's Create 30 Fabric Flowers and these have really pretty colours in and finally I got Wilko 12 Neon Stars so I can add captions to pages.

Prices-
All skincare- 95p each
Radox Shower Cream- 95p
Storage Pots- £1.50
Pen Pots- £1.50 each
Stickers- 50p
Crayons- £1
Colouring Pencils- £2.50
Fabric Flowers- £1
Neon Stars- 80p

That was everything I bought in Wilko. I probably won't go for a while now as there's like nothing else I can get for my journal as I have so many journal stuff and there's a lot I don't use too often so I obviously know what my favourites are.

Wilko Haul | July 2016

Obviously I have another Wilko Haul today because I needed to repurchase my skincare and I needed to buy some shower gel but I picked up some other stuff which is all a pound or under which I think is amazing and wasn't even expecting to do that so it wasn't a challenge.

Wilko Aloe Vera and Avocado Moisturisng Bath Soak-  I go through bath soaks really quickly because I literally dump so much product in it so I do have to buy new ones a lot. This one has a lot of product (750ml) and also has a really nice scent which I wasn't expecting as I only bought it because I liked the product colour.
This was 85p

Wilko Maxi Oval Double Faced Cotton Pads- The cotton pads I had were way too small for skincare so I bought some bigger ones to help me take off my makeup and it might help me take off my nail varnish as I won't need as any cotton pads to take them off which is good.
This was 50p

Wilko Fruits Fragrance Explosion Shower Gel in Lime & Ginger and Strawberry & Pomegranate- You're probably wondering why I bought 2 shower gels and that's because I go through shower gels quite quickly (although I have been using less recently) and I thought it's good to have some back up in my beauty stash even though there was already 3 in there.
These were 95p each

Soft & Gentle 48hr Protection Antiperspirant Deodorant in Orchid & Passion Flower- Usually I prefer roll on deodorants because I feel like they're more effective but this time I bought a spray one just for a change and I liked the scent (I know they had some Soft & Gentle roll ons but I don't know about in this scent). Obviously it doesn't really matter what deodorant you get so I always change it up.
This was 95p

Wilko Designs Notebooks x2- I use a lot of notebooks for all different reasons so I bought 2 more so I always have one. The designs weren't the best so I did have to do a lot of searching for designs I actually liked but I really like these 2 even if they from different collections and don't really go.
These were £1 each.

KitKat Dark 4 Fingers- So I never knew dark chocolate KitKats were a thing so I needed to try it out. Since taking this photo I have since tried the KitKat and I must say it was very nice. I know a lot of people don't really dark chocolate but I love it so obviously that's why I like this.
This was 50p

Fruit Pastilles- Childhood throwback! I haven't had a tube of fruit pastilles (or any fruit pastilles for that matter) so I needed to get a tube to test out and make me remember the really nice flavor. My favourite ones are the green ones and the strawberry ones but I don't know what flavor they are.
These were 55p

Walkers Ready Salted 32.5- I originally bought these to eat on the bus back but I wasn't actually that hungry so I kept them and took them home and decided to included them in this blog post even though I have no idea why and there's not much you can say about a bag of crisps.
These were 50p

Wilko A5 Stickers- In my planner I use a lot of stickers and I wanted to get some more because I was kind of running out. These are farm animals and I don't know what they're going to look like in my planner but some of them are really cute so I think I can make it work,I hope!
These were £1

7th Heaven Mint Choc Chip Masque- I love using face masks (especially on a Friday after a long hard week) and I love chocolate chips and mint so I thought this would be perfect. I have used this and it was very nice but it is very hard to take off as it really sets into your skin.
This was 95p

Skin Therapy Tea Tree Moisturising Lotion, Face Wash and Gentle Face Scrub- This is my current skincare routine (along with the wipes as well) so I thought I would talk about it all together. My skincare type is normal as I don't have any major problems about from a bit of redness and spots occasionally so I find this perfect. This was a repurchase so I know it works.
These were 95p each

Skin Therapy Tea Tree Lightly Fragranced Face Wipes- These have been the face wipes I have been using for a while as they go with my skincare as everything is tea tree. Every time I go into Wilko I buy a pack of these so I don't run out and they're exclusive to Wilko so I can't buy them anywhere else.
These were 50p

That was my very random Wilko Haul which I hope you enjoyed and we all know me that there will be another sometime soon with probably more stationery as I didn't really buy that much this time. For more follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider)

Wilko Haul | June 2016

I talk about Wilko all of the time on this blog and today I have another haul from there with a couple of random things I picked up when I was there last time such as some stationery (I need to do another stationery haul but I'm saving that for Back To School) and some beauty products.

Wilko Fruits Strawberry & Pomegranate Fragrance Explosion Body Scrub- If you're an avid reader of The Lipstick Insider you would recognise that I've had this before and I've just repurchased it. I needed a new body scrub as my Zoella one is running out so I got this one as a replacement and I really like the scent.
This was 95p

Sure Motion Sense Cool Blue Anti Antiperspirant- Obviously deodorant is an essential in life and my one was on the edge of running out so I picked up another while I was looking in the beauty section. I pick up any deodorant and the one I happened to pick up this time was by Sure.
This was also 95p

Essence All Eyes On Me Waterproof Multi-Effect Mascara- Essence is a brand which I had heard of but never knew where to get it from and I saw it in Wilko and decided to check out what they had to offer and I saw their large mascara bit which made me very happy. I decided to get this one as it's waterproof and is lengthening and volumising.
This was £2

Wilko Bath Sponge- Random I know! Usually in the shower I use a puff but I thought why I don't use a sponge for a change as sometime puffs are annoying so I picked up a basic bath sponge and it was only 20p which is a bargain.
This was only 20p

Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Box- Sadly these weren't for me but I picked them up as a present. Wilko had a good selection of boxed chocolates and if you need to get someone a present I would recommend go to Wilko as there was a large selection and they were cheaper than most other supermarkets.
These were £3.90

Wilko Card- Again this was a birthday card for someone but I thought I would still mention it as Wilko did have a lot of nice birthday and any occasion cards and also gift wrap and gift bags. I had already got the gift bag but if I hadn't I would've definately got it from Wilko as they had a nice selection.
This was £1.50

Wilko Neon Sticky Notes- I use sticky notes everywhere and I was running out of this size as I use this size all the time for my corkboard, which is also from Wilko, so I thought I would pick up another pack while I was in the stationery section. There's 5 colours- Pink, Orange, Green, Yellow and Orange again.
These were 85p

Wilko Revision Cards- In another post on this blog I ranted about how I didn't like revision posters so I got another pack of revision cards as that's how I like to revise. My other ones from Tesco are really plain but these ones are cute with cute pastel colours and they come in one pack with a thing holding them together which will be really handy.
These were £1

Wilko Reminisce Storage Box With Lid- I recently re done my room and got rid of loads of stuff so I wanted to get a storage box to keep random stuff in so it's a lot neater and this one is super cute with the print on the lid. Inside I have been keeping my adult colouring book, The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire by Dan & Phil and 2 pairs of headphones.
This was £3

That was my Wilko Haul with some of my latest purchases- let me know in the comments below what other shops to do hauls on as I love hauling my recent purchases. For more follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) or Instagram (@thelipstickinsider).

Wilko Haul

Recently I have been loving Wilko which if you didn't know is a shop which sells homeware, stationery, food and beauty and it's really cheap. As I've been liking it a lot I thought I would I should dedicate a whole haul which I don't usually do. Today's haul will include stationery, food and beauty- my life.

Wilko A4 Document Wallet- I picked this up not knowing what I would do with it (best shopper ever!) but thought I would use it at one point. I really like the design of it and it's in the selfie design which I really like as I bought a lot from it because I love the colours. I have been using this to store my random papers in as I seem to have a lot of them. This was really cheap and it's actually really good quality.
This was 80p

Wilko A6 Organiser- This is seriously one of the best purchases I've made as this thing is amazing. There's 4 sections- to buy, to do, to plan and things to remember and they're so handy. The section I use the most is definitely the to buy section but I use the others too. This is really handy as you can put this in your bag as it takes up no room. The thing is that I wish there was cuter prints as I'm not the biggest fan of the design.
This was £2.50

Wilko Life's A Journey Mug- I wanted to get some new mugs as I hated mine and I saw this one and loved the quote. It says 'life's not about the destination, it's about the journey' and I really like that quote. When I was telling my friend Cerys about this mug I accidentally got the saying the wrong way round so I said 'life's not about the journey, it's about the destination' which isn't very motivational.
This was £1

Wilko Let's Take A Selfie Mug- Wilko is obsessed with being down with the kids with everything being selfie related. I got another mug for my desk to keep my hand sanitizers in as they deserve a cute home (LOL!). I really like the colours of this mug and I also like the pizza on it however it probably wasn't the best idea as it does make me crave pizza at weird times (like me now at 10:23pm)
This was £1
Wilko A5 Exercise Book-  I bought a lot of exercise books but they all have a purpose. The first one I got has this satchel design which I think looks really nice against the polka dots even though I usually hate polka dots. I'm using this as my food diary so basically after every meal I write down what I ate because it encourages me to eat healthier as I have to write everything down
This was £1

Wilko 'Oh hey!' A5 Exercise Book- This is another of the exercise books I bought and this one is just a random one where I write random things in and make random doodles which have no meaning. I really like the design of this one as it matches the document wallet at the beginning of this haul even though I don't use them together. I like having a random notebook as I always need a notebook #notebookobsessed
This was 50p

Wilko Cameras A5 Exercise Book- Finally the last notebook (but not the last stationery item!). I think this is my favourite notebook because it's my favourite design out of them because of the colours and I love the cameras. I use this notebook to plan what blog photos I need to take because I am really unogranised with blog photos so I need to have a list of what to take as I won't take the right pictures.
This was 50p

Wilko Rubber Band Ball- I don't know why I got this to be exact but you never know when you're going to need a rubber band. I was watching velvetgh0st the day before and she said she wished rubber band balls came in cuter colours and then I saw this rubber ball band which was in pink, green, blue, yellow, purple and white. I really like playing with this so this does get me distracted...
This was £1.50
Wilko Fruits Coconut & Vanilla Fragrance Explosion Shower Gel-  I'm currently using the Strawberry & Pomegranate shower gel from Wilko and I really like it so I thought I would pick up another but this time in Coconut & Vanilla as I love the scent of coconut so much. If I could I would use everything coconut as I'm also using a coconut scent shampoo and conditioner so soon I'm going to be a coconut!
This was 95p

Bodyform 30 Multistyle Normal Single Wrap Liners-  I wasn't going to include these because a.) I thought it was a bit weird and b.) I bought the wrong ones but I'm quickly adding these in as I did buy these
These were £1.60

Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Facial Wash- Again I bought the wrong thing! I don't have sensitive skin but when I was looking at this Skin Therapy stuff (which is their own skincare brand) there was a lot of people around so I couldn't have a proper look but it's ok as this hasn't broken me out and my skin does really and look good but next time I will buy the right thing for my skin type!
This was 95p

Skin Therapy Normal & Combination Skin Lightly Fragranced Face Wipes- I use face wipes everyday to take off my makeup so I thought I should pick up anopther pack as these were only 50p which I think is incridible as it works as 2p per wipe. I think the Simple wipes are quite expensive so I pick up cheap ones and these ones even take off waterproof mascara which is what I wear.
These were 50p
Wilko Pick and Mix Bag- Wilko is my favourite place to get Pick and Mix so I bought a bag as I always get a cup so I thought I would do something different. I always get a lot of watermelon slices sweet as they're my absolute favourite but I also got fizzy bubblegum bottles, white Jazzels, milk chocolate Jazzels, mini eggs, smarties and I got quite a bit so it comes to however much you put it.
My bag came to £3.69

Wilko Washi Tape 4x Rolls- Since the beginning of the year I have been using a lot of washi tape so when I saw they done some I had to pick them up. There is 4 designs which are a ruler style one, black and clear chevron, a stamp design and a pretty floral pattern. If Wilko did more packs I would have got more but I only saw this pack and they seem to be really good.
This was £1.50

Wilko Extra Large Pick & Mix Cup- I bought all of this stuff on 2 shopping trips so I bought  another cup the other time I went because I really like the pick and mix and this time it was all half price! I was going to get a regular cup but it was £1.95 for an extra large so I couldn't pass it up. I pretty much got the same that was in the bag as I always get my favourite things and I eat the watermelon slices last all the time!
This was £1.95 on sale from £3.95

Wilko Pink Stapler- I always steal my dads stapler so I got one to not annoy him and so I don't have to always go downstairs to get it (#lazy #ionlygodownstairstogetfood). I got a pink one because pink is my favourite colour and it goes with all of the other accessories on my desk as you know got to match. I'm also glad as it came with staples so I didn't have to buy any.
This was £1.75

Wilko Nail Polish Remover Acetone Free- I change the nail colour on my toes every week and when I do I use a lot of nail polish remover for no reason so I got this one. I picked up the acetone free one for no reason as I don't get the different (I remember learning about acetone in science this year) but this one smells so bad that I hate using it now as I can't bear the smell.
This was 95p

I really hope you enjoyed this post because I don't normally do hauls on one shop as usually they're collective but I will change that soon. If you would like more from me follow me on Twitter and Instagram where my username is @_louisecarter_ as I have been posting on there a lot recently.
