YouTube Made Me Buy It?!?

This idea has been going around on YouTube a lot and I really like the concept of it so I thought I would do my own on my blog. If you've been living under a rock and don't know what this post is, basically I will be sharing products that I purchased because a lot of people were talking and raving about it on YouTube.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation- I don't have this product anymore as mine ran out but I did purchase it because a load of people were talking about how this is an amazing first time foundation. I did really like this foundation and I will repurchase it but at the moment I'm trialling out other foundations.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder- In a lot of drugstore makeup tutorials people use this powder to set their foundation and concealer so I decided to pick it up. I do like this powder but it's not the best at setting. I don't think I will repurchase when this runs out.

Blending Sponge- I don't have a real Beauty Blender but I do have some dupes from Primark and Superdrug and I do really like applying foundation and concealer with them. I still do go in with a foundation/concealer brush but I do like dabbing in the makeup and it's easy to blend under the eyes.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer- Everyone always talks about how this is the best concealer from the drugstore and to be honest I don't like it that much because it doesn't cover my under eye circles (although I don't think anything can to be honest) so I was disappointed and I will definitely not repurchase.

Barry M Lipstick in Pillar Box Red- I remember there was a time when everyone used to say this was the perfect red lipstick so I bought this as my first red lipstick and it is really good. It stays on the lips for quite a while and is not drying; I definitely do want to try more shades as this is the only one I have.

Maybelline Baby Lips- Everyone used to go mad for these and they are actually good lip balms but my absolute favourites (that's the next product I'll be talking about). I do prefer the tinted ones because they're hydrating to the lips and also add colour when you want a little bit.

eos Lip Balms- I wanted these after all the American YouTubers mentioned these but I couldn't get them until my 14th birthday when I got a pack of 5 and you can now get them in Boots and Topshop. They're really moisturising and they do help my lips when I have chapped and disgusting lips- they also smell nice which is a bonus!

Zoella Beauty- There has always been such a hype around Zoella Beauty and all the other YouTubers raved about how amazing it was (probably just to suck up to Zoe but I'll leave that for another day) and I've tried some products and some are good (the scrub, shower gels and makeup bags are favourites) but there are some products that are not worth it but I talked about that in my last post.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 604 Milk- This is another product a lot of American YouTubers talked about and then a lot of the British ones caught on. NYX is now stocked in most Boots in the country so I picked this up and I do really like it and the next shade I want to get is Strawberry Milk as that looks really pretty.

Maybelline 24HR Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze- A while ago loads of people were talking about these and I only picked it up the other day but I can understand the hype as it looks really pretty on the eye and it blends really nicely. This is also really affordable and I do want to get some more shades.

So these are products I bought because loads of YouTubers have raved about it. There are some more products that I want to get because of YouTubers but I always forget to buy them. Let me know in the comments below some products that you bought because everyone talked about in on YouTube.

January Favourites | 2017

It's that time of the month where I share all of the products that I have been loving recently. Sadly I didn't get a chance to do a December Favourites because I was ill at the end of the month so these favourites are kinda from December as well but it doesn't matter if I didn't share them with you.
Real Techniques Brushes- At the end of December I decided to buy some Real Techniques brushes because I've wanted them for ages and I'm so glad I finally bought them because they are amazing and I definitely want to get some more and I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner.

Benefit They're Real Mascara- When I first bought this mascara I wasn't too keen on it because it kept clumping my lashes together but when I started using this mascara for more natural looks it definitely worked better so I'm using this mascara for school and for when I want big lashes I'm going to use my Maybelline mascara.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation- I loved the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation but I ran out of that so I decided to try this foundation and I really like it; I'm not sure what one I would choose as my favourite but this is definitely better than the other foundations I have. Next up I want to try the Rimmel foundation that has the red lid.

Khaki Jumper from H&M- This time last year I probably wouldn't have worn this colour but as my style has evolved I now really like this khaki colour. This jumper is really nice to wear and it is actually quite cosy. I like wearing it with my black jeggings and my leather jacket and that is an outfit I've been wearing quite a bit.

Pink Off The Shoulder Jumper from Primark- Like the khaki jumper this is another jumper I have been wearing a lot. I didn't think I would like the off the shoulder style but I bought this jumper anyway and I do really like it and I'm not actually that cold when I wear it. This was from Primark and it was only £6 which is a bargain.

Indigo Blue Jeggings- I went through a period of hating jeans but after I tried the Primark black jeggings I kinda came obsessed and got some more pairs and my favourite at the moment has to be the indigo blue pair and I've actually been wearing with a lot more outfits that I thought and they were only £6.

A5 Organiser from Paperchase- At the end of December I decided to get a new planner for the new year and I'm obsessed with it. I've definitely streamlined my planning and at the end of the 2016 I was feeling quite unmotivated and this has definitely helped me to become more motivated with school and my blog.

Lush Baths- At the moment I have a lot of Lush bath bombs and bubble bars, which means that I have been able to have lots of baths. I still have a lot left but I having been buying a lot but that's because at this moment in time I'm obsessed with having baths and I love having a bath bomb or use a bubble bar in my bath.

Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding- I've decided that this year I'm going to read one book a month (I hardly read so I feel like this is realistic for me) and for January I'm finishing Bridget Jones Diary. I love it and when I finish it I definitely want to watch the film and also read the next two books.

Bad Things by Machine Gun Kelly and Camilla Cabello- This has been my favourite song of the month and there's actually been quite a lot of good music this month like the two new Ed Sheeran songs but this has been my utltimate favourite and I have listened to it so much but I still love it.

They're all my favourites from the month. I think my new way of doing monthly favourite posts will be to have three fashion items, three beauty products, three lifestyle things and a song, let me know if you like that idea!
