Beauty Haul + First Impressions

Today I have a Beauty Haul today with some of my recent purchases from Superdrug. I am also going to be including my first impressions, which all seem to be good so I'm really happy with my purchases from Collection, Maybelline, Rimmel and more!

Collection Pressed Powder- I know I have already included this on my blog but I haven't hauled it yet so here you go. It is a good and cheap powder so it's good if you're on a budget or are just starting out with makeup as it's a simple translucent powder. It doesn't give any glow as it's translucent but I like using bronzer for my glow and as it has no glow it means it's good for people starting out with makeup.
This was £1.99 from Superdrug

Collection Bronze Glow Mosaic in 2 Radiant- On the topic of glow now we have something which gives glow! This one gives a natural glow which I like as I don't want to look like a discoball and the shades in this mosaic are gorgeous. Sadly there are some negatives such that you do need to swipe a lot of product onto your brush and it's not as pigmented as I would've liked which is a shame for Collection products.
This was £2.99 from Superdrug

Collection Naturally Matt Foundation in 3 Cool Beige- I did want to get the Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation but they didn't have my shade so I thought I would get a matte foundation which I haven't tried before. It looks really pretty and natural which I like and wasn't sure whether if it would because it's a matte finish which I really like and will try more matte finish foundations. It blends really nicely and easily with both a Beauty Blender and a normal foundation brush and lastly I would've preferred a different packaging with a pump as it's easier but it is a cheap foundation so obviously there's not going to be amazing packaging.
This was £2.99 from Superdrug

Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick in 7 Delicious Candy- As you probably know these are my favourite lipsticks so I thought I would get another shade! It's a really natural pink which I don't have many of as usually I go for brighter colours and the pink isn't too dark I find it's just right for me. It's not part of the matte collection but it does have a really nice formula. My favourite way of wearing it has been with a smoky/dark eyeshadow look so there's more focus on that then the lip colour.
This was £2.99 from Superdrug

P.S. Love Waterproof Mascara- I've already tried a mascara from P.S. Love (Primark's beauty range) and loved it so I wanted to try their waterproof mascara. It's both volumising and lengthening which I really like and that makes it good for any occasion which I like. I really like the packaging as I like metal packaging on anything and makes it look more expensive than £2 and the mascara is also amazing for that- no faults!
This was £2 from Primark

Collection Longer Lash Lengthening Mascara- This time focusing on lengthening and this mascara by Collection really gives you long lashes which is what I want, the longer the better! As well as making your lashes long it's still good for everyday as there isn't any volume. I wish there was a waterproof version because I only wear waterproof mascara and as it's not waterproof I can't wear it as much. Because it's by Collection I had high expectations because they're really good quality for cheap and it lived up to them expectations.
This was £2.99 from Tesco

Essence All Eyes On Me Mascara- Waterproof Multi-Effect- I had never tried anything from Essence before but I saw this mascara and wanted to try it and OMG it is amazing. It applys really nicely and has a really nice applicator which I was very happy about as I wasn't expecting it. It's more lengthening than volumising but it's still amazing and looks really nice. The packaging is ok but what do you expect from a £2 mascara. This is definately going to be a favourite because I can't get enough of it.
This was £2 from Wilko

Miss Sporty Clubbing Colour Nail Polishes- Miss Sporty don't have the shade names on the bottles (really annoying!) but the ones I got were the yellow and the pink. The brush is really big and nice so you don't have to do as many swipes as you would with a smaller brush so it makes the whole process quicker. It drys quickly- it says under 60 seconds but I haven't checked after 60 seconds so I can't say. Pink you need one coat as it's quite dark and yellow you need 2 coats which I think is pretty good.
These were £1.99 from Superdrug

Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me- I've already tried an Electro Baby Lips and the Watermelon but this one is very popular so I wanted to try it. It's smells amazing and like cherry as the name suggests obviously. It gives a natural tint which I like, I know it might be darker on some lips as I have quite dark lips so it didn't really do that much. It's very moisturising to the lips which I know some people don't find with Baby Lips but I do find them moisturising. Overall this is really nice and the next one I want to try is Pink Punch but I have a lot of lip balms at the moment.
This was £2.99 from Superdrug

Rimmel Rita Ora Nail Polish in 498 Rain Rain Go Away- I bought this to wear for a party but I still really like it anyway as it's very different to what I have as all of my other nail polishes are either brights or pastels. It's good quality but that's what I would expect from Rimmel and you do need 2 coats but I'm ok with that as usually you do with any drugstore nail polish. It looks really nice on the nails and I can't wait until I can wear nail polish on my fingernails as I'm definately going to be wearing this.
This was £2.99 from Superdrug

When I bought most of this stuff from Superdrug, they had a 3 for 2 offer on and you also got a free makeup bag so I got 2 of them because I bought quite a bit and luckily I like the design. It's really good for your handbag because it's really padded and I'm using it for my in handbag for my makeup bag. I also bought a bunch of minis (well only 3) for an upcoming blog post. I won't talk through all of these as what can I say about a toothpaste but I still wanted to include them.

-I Love... Minty Choc Chip Bath & Shower Cream £2.99
-Aquafresh Fresh & Minty Toothpaste 20ml £1.29
-Tic Tac 100 Fresh Mint Pack £1.39
-Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena Scent Antiperspirant 35ml £1.20
-Superdrug Hand & Nail Cream £1.05

That was a long, massive post so you're probably not even reading so I'll make this quite quick- follow me on Twitter @_louisecarter_ and Instagram @thelipstickinsider as you can see when I go shopping so you can expect a haul.

What's In My Bag

What's In My Bags are my favourite videos to watch and favourite blog posts to read- I don't know what it is but I just love them so I wanted to do my own especially as I got a new bag. I have done 2 before which I will link at the bottom of this post in case you want to go back and see what's changed and what hasn't.

This is my new bag which I love. It's from Primark and was only £12 and I love it- it also looks like a bag out of Zara or Topshop and they're quite expensive so finding a cheaper alternative is always amazing. This bag has 2 main pockets which is really handy and a zip pocket in between them 2 pockets which I don't use but could be very handy for some people. There's also the usual 2 mini pockets on the inside of the front which you could keep your phone in and there's also a zip pocket on the inside of the back.

Phone- Obviously I take my phone everywhere I go so I put it in my bag because I hate having it in a back pocket of jeans as it's easy to steal and I don't have it in my hands unless I'm using it so people might not suspect I have a phone (even though everyone has one now a days). My phone is a Microsoft Lumia 640 and I don't have a case.

Purse- You always need to some money when you go out just in case of an emergency and I keep mine in my purse because I don't want to have loose money in my bag. I love my purse and it's from New Look- I personally prefer long purses as I hate folding notes and I like having a place to put lots of cards.

Mint Purse- I don't what to call it but it's a mini little purse which I like to keep coppers in (so 1p coins and 2p coins). I like to have them separated because I find that my purse gets really big and heavy so I thought it would be easier to separate them so I got this mini purse from Primark.

Zip Card- Usually when I go out I take a bus so I need a Zip Card to actually get on. If you don't know what a Zip Card is it's a bus pass for 11-16 year olds (I'm not too sure on the ages) and you pay a one time payment of £10 and you get unlimited, free bus trips and a discount on trains.

TicTacs- I always have some sort of mint thing in my bag and at the moment it just happens to be TicTacs which I don't mind as I love both although I do find TicTacs easier as you swallow them so you don't need a bin to throw away your gum before you eat or when you want to throw it away.

Body Mist/Fragrance- I will always carry round with me the fragrance I'm wearing that day and the one I happened to wear this day was a body mist by Victoria Secret Pink and it's the Fresh & Clean one which I really like as it smells like apples and I also love the pink colour of the packaging.

Tangle Teezer- Instead of carrying round a hairbrush I like to carry round my Tangle Teezer because it's lighter and I usually do get knots because of the bloody wind so I find this is better. I definately recommend a Tangle Teezer if you don't have one already as it's a lot easier and quicker than a hairbrush to get out knots.

Carex Strawberry Laces Wipes- (I do also carry tissues but I forgot to take a picture with them). You never know when you might need a wipe so I have these lovely scented ones from Carex which smells like strawberry laces sweets because of any makeup disasters like mascara running or someone gets pooed on.

Sunglasses- You can't really see them in the picture but I'll get you to imagine a black pair of cat eye sunglasses which are from Primark and come with a cheap, simple black case. Recently (when I write this) there has been a lot of sun so my sunglasses have been coming in handy so it's good to always have them in my bag.

I carry round a little makeup bag with some makeup I might need throughout the day and also a couple of essentials which don't fit into my Zoella Cosmetic Purse. This makeup bag came free from Superdrug and it's perfect for handbags as it's padded so you could keep technology bits in there such as a little vlog camera. I do also carry round brushes but they're in a separate section of my bag so I forgot about them.

Collection Pressed Powder- If you're wearing foundation or concealer you will probably need to be carrying round a powder for them all important touch ups throughout the day and for them I carry round the Collection Pressed Powder which is really cheap and I don't mind if I loose it.

MUA Mosaic Bronzer- Sometimes half way through the day I will want a bit of a bronzed glow so I look like a goddess (LOL). The one I keep in my bag is from MUA and it's a mosaic one which I really like as it looks really pretty in the packaging and when applied obviously.

MUA Lipstick in Shade 13- MUA need to get shade names for their lipsticks because shade 13 is not very original. Anyway I have been carrying round a red lipstick because sometimes when I feel like my outfit is a bit too plain and I want a bold lip colour to jazz it up a little.

Dove Antiperspirant - Especially since it's now summer I think this is really important for a bit of a freshen up, especially if you've had school/work and it's been so hot. This one has a really nice scent that I might have to buy the bigger one but for now I'll repurchase the mini one for my bag when I finish.

MUA Mascara- There's always mornings where I forget mascara because I can't be bothered or I have had a headache so if I feel like I need mascara later on in the day I have one ready to go to apply and this one by MUA gives volume and length so it's a good multi-use one for on the go.

Superdrug Hand & Nail Cream- Sometimes after applying hand sanitizer I find my hands are sticky so I like to apply some hand cream and if the hand sanitizer isn't really that scented it's nice to have a scent. Or if my hands are dry it's nice to have some hand cream while on the go.

I've already talked about what's in this cosmetic purse from Zoella Beauty so I won't go through it again but you can tell by looking at the picture. If you do want to read about everything inside of there click HERE and it will take you to the blog post What's In My Essentials Bag.

That's everything in my bag from TicTacs to Antiperspirant to wipes but I don't actually carry anything weird in my bag because I'm always tidying my bag and getting rid of receipts. For more of me follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) or Instagram (@thelipstickinsider) because I really like posting on there.

I ♡ Summer Tag

As it's summer I thought I would answer some questions about summer with the tag I Heart Summer Tag! I also done one for spring so I'll probably end up doing one in Autumn and Winter but it's way too early to be thinking about that. Feel free to do this tag as I'm not tagging anyone particularly.

1. Your dream summer vacation
Definitely has to be somewhere hot as otherwise there's no point going away in the summer than somewhere not hot (although you could if you wanted to but it's just not my style). I would always go to the beach and go shopping and chill out by the pool with a mocktail. I really want to go to LA and I know all of that's very typical LA life.

2. Favorite summer drink.
I love Creamy Coolers from Costa (even though you can have them all year round) and they're really nice for a nice summer day. I also really like Diet Coke in the summer but I like that all year round.

3. S’mores or ice cream?

I've never had a S'more so it would have to be ice cream. My favourite flavor in case you're wondering is mint choc chip!

4. Pool or Beach?

The pool because I hate getting sand in between my toes and the sand is always hot and I hate it!

5. Would you rather spend a summer day outside in the pool or inside watching Netflix?

Why can't I take Netflix outside but knowing me I would probably be inside watching a show on Netflix

6. Your most fun summer memory?

Definitely all of my holidays abroad.

7. Favorite summer nail polish?

I really like neons especially bright pinks but recently I have been loving this yellow shade from Miss Sporty (none of the nail polishes have the colour names on the packaging which is really annoying when I want to talk about them as they are really good)

8. Sunglasses or hats?
I never wear hates so definately sunglasses which I have really been liking recently. I do really like the look of floppy beach hats which a cute cover up over your bikini.

9. Favorite summer scent?

I really like the Zoella Beauty Tutti Frutti Body Mist because it has a really nice, clean, summery scent and I also like the other products in the range such as the shower gel and body scrub.

10. Favorite BBQ food?
I never have BBQ so I can't say.

11. Bikinis, tankinis, or one pieces?
Bikinis as usually they're cuter.

12. Summertime Book recommendations

Definitely a light read and I would say Girl Online and Girl Online On Tour but you probably read them. Other than that I don't really know because I don't read much.

That was all of my summer choices and I hope you really enjoyed it. If you want to know of my summer adventures follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider)

Shopping Trip Haul

Today I'm going to do something I haven't done before and that's a little small haul from just one shopping trip. There's not that much but I thought it would be better to do this than one big Collective Haul which you would've to wait a while for. Carry on reading for purchases from New Look, Wilko and Tiger!

Colour Block Bomber Jacket- The only thing I got from New Look was this bomber jacket. I had wanted a bomber jacket for ages but I couldn't find one I liked but I saw this one and had to get it because I loved the white and black. There was some colours (but no just black) but this was the only one I liked.
This was £24.99 from New Look.

i-Star Stereo Earphones- My earphones always break on me so I thought I would buy a cheap pair as even if I bought an expensive pair they would break so I just got a cheap pair. They're just plain white and so far they have been working well which is a good thing but hopefully they continue to work like that.
These were £1.80 from Wilko

Wilko Bath Sponge- I had one of these before but I got bored one day and started to break it so I just bought another and I'm going to try and not break it but when you start breaking them they are addicting as that's what I found from the other one. These are so cheap which is amazing.
This was 20p from Wilko

Skin Therapy Tea Tree Lightly Fragranced Face Wipes- These have been the face wipes I have been using for a while now so I wanted to pick up another pack as I hate running out of makeup wipes. These face wipes also smell really nice and like cucumber and also go with my skincare.
These 50p from Wilko

Cupcake Sprinkles Napkins- When I eat messy food in my room I never have any napkins so I thought I would get some as these did have a really pretty pattern and are a good essential to have. There was a huge range of summer designs which is good if you're hosting a summer party or BBQ.
These were £1 from Tiger

50 Pink Straws- I hate drinking straight out from cups which is really weird so I got some straws and I did get drawn into these as they are a gorgeous pink shade (remember Louise I'm not talking about lipsticks I'm talking about straws). These are just so useful to have so I picked up a pack.
These were £1 from Tiger

10 Disposable Mustache 500ml Cups- As well as getting napkins and straws I also bought a pack of cups because one time I might want a cup I want to throw away instead of washing it up. I also bought these because they were cute and Tumblr with the mustache in pink on the front.
These were £2 from Tiger

Ice Cream Storage Box- In Tiger there was so many ice cream related stuff so I thought I would get a storage box because you'll never know when you need extra storage which is cute. So far I don't have a proper use for it but so far I have headphones and fairy lights in there.
This was £2 from Tiger

Pink Plastic Storage Box- When I saw this I thought it could be so useful so I got it and I've been keeping hairbands in there because I bought a massive pack of hair bands from Primark but I didn't want to open them as there would've been no where to put them but now I've opened them and put them in here.
This was £1 from Tiger

That was everything I bought on my little shopping trip, not that much but a good amount of stuff which I like. For more follow me on Twitter (@_LouiseCarter_) and on Instagram (@thelipstickinsider).

Beauty Spotlight | Collection

You might remember I did a Beauty Spotlight back in January (for Barry M- LINK) but today I have one for Collection as I have been using a lot of their makeup recently and I am happy with pretty much all of the products I've tried so far and I've tried products from foundation to eyeliner to nail polish. This will be quite a long post so get comfy and get some food.

Firstly we have the Collection Naturally Matt Foundation which claims to give you an 'all day fresh matt finish' and I can say it does. I don't think everyone would like it as some people want a glowy, dewy finish but this one is more of an everyday one if you like the natural look. It's also really easy to blend (however I prefer to use a brush than a Beauty Blender) and it lasts all day if you set it well. I also want to try the Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation but I'm currently using 2 different ones so I'm going to wait. This is £2.99 which is amazing for a foundation.

Next up we have the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which is the drugstore concealer everyone talks about and so am I now! This is a great concealer as it's covers and brightens under eye circles so you look more awake and more healthier but it's also good for blemishes but as I luckily *touch wood* don't have any I use this more for under eyes. This is £4.19

Something now to set all of the foundation and concealer is the Collection Pressed Powder in the shade Ivory 18. I really like this powder as it's cheap and cheerful so it's amazing if you're on a budget but it does set your makeup into place all day but I do like to carry this is my handbag. This is £1.99.

Lastly for face products we have a bronzer and it's the Collection Bronze Glow Mosaic Bronzer in 2 Radiant. This bronzer is perfect for the summer as there is loads of gorgeous shades and looks amazing when you swirl your brush around in the pot. It also gives you a nice healthy glow which is good if you're not going away to a hot country to get a natural tan (like me). This is £2.99

Moving onto products for the eyes (there's a lot of mascaras so I've warned you) and we're going to start off with the Collection Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Palette in Nude. I love this eyeshadow and it's perfect for someone on a budget as the pigmentation is amazing especially the darker shades (swatches are above). All of the shades in this palette are really neutral so it's the best one out of the Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Palettes for the most neutral look. This is £3.99.

Next up we have the Collection Extreme 24Hr Felt Tip Liner in Black 1. I think this is the cheapest felt tip liner in the drugstore (but I could be wrong) and it's a really good one. It's really easy to apply because of the shape of the nib is a great size to do a perfect winged liner. It also has a good lasting time (pretty much all day) and doesn't smudge unless you really rub your eyes so I don't carry this round when I'm wearing it. This is £2.99

Onto the billions of Collection mascaras I have (I only have 4) we'll start with the Collection Supersize Fat Lash Mascara. This mascara does what it says on the packaging and makes you have really long and volumised lashes which I really love. This mascara is perfect for when you go on night outs as it will last you all night without top ups and if you're not a fan of false lashes (I'm not) this will give you false lashes effect lashes. This is £2.99.

Next up we have the Collection Lengthening Waterproof Mascara which is one of the mascaras I wear the most. I wear this a lot because it's a really nice natural mascara whilst still giving you length. This is a good waterproof mascara although it can go clumpy if you start to cry or your eyes water but it doesn't clump you lashes when you apply it so that's the only problem but overall it is a good mascara and I will continue to wear it on the daily. I do also have the non waterproof one (which I forgot I had until the other day) and that's the same but not waterproof so it doesn't have the clumping issue. This is £3.99

Now we have a very similar mascara to the one above and it's the Collection Volumising Waterproof Mascara so the same but the volumising one. Unlike the Supersize Fat Lash Mascara above this one isn't as volumised but still gives you really nice lashes and they're not too in your face which is good for everyday and I still wear this to school and it doesn't look fake. This is £3.99

The last mascara is the Collection Longer Lash Lengthening Mascara (couldn't find a link but I bought mine in Tesco). This one is really lengthening and really separates your lashes which I really like and your lashes are really fluttery and cute which I really like especially for natural, relaxed days. This is £2.99

Not long to go now! Moving onto lips firstly we have the Collection Lasting Colour Matte Lipsticks in Paper Rose and Pink Diva . Both of these shades are gorgeous being a matte nude (paper rose) and a dark pink (Pink Diva) and they also both last for a long time even whilst eating and drinking so I was very impressed. These are both £2.99

Just like above we have the Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks in Cupcake Pink and Delicious Candy. Unlike above these are glossy and not matte but I don't always want matte and these 2 are more natural pinks which I really like to wear. They're also very moisturising and don't make my lips go all chapped which I hate. There's also a good colour selection so there's something for everyone. These are both £2.99

Lastly for lips we have the Collection Work The Colour Moisturising Lip Butter in Popping Pink. I don't normally go for lip butters but I really like this one as the colour is gorgeous and is really moisturising. Sadly I got a rubbish one and most of the product came out and I will get a new one in this colour because I really like it. This is £2.99

Finally the last product but you're probably not even reading anymore and it's the Collection Up To 7 Day Nail Polish in Sonic Blue. I really like the colour of this and I'm currently wearing it on my toenails as it's something very different especially for me. This is a good quailty nail polish and doesn't chip for quite a few days which I really like especially for the price. This is £1.99

OMG that was longer than I expected and I hope you read it all but I did really like making it. I won't keep you any longer but before you go follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider)

Primark Haul

I know I recently made a Primark Haul but I have another today because they have so many nice things in there right now and I couldn't resist not buying some stuff in there. This haul is a lot more random than the last one as this one features stationery (obviously as a stationery addict), food and false nails.

White Wood Heart Organiser- This was the thing that started my haul as it was the first thing I picked up. I always buy organizers not knowing what to put in there but in this one I keep it on my chest of drawers and I keep all the random stuff which I kept on there like body sprays, sunglasses, food and makeup.
This was £6

Disney Mickey Mouse A5 Notebook- Primark have a small stationery section and I needed a new A5 notebook (I actually did as the one I was using didn't have many pages and I didn't have one with all blank pages) so I picked up this quite thick one as it did have quite a nice print on the front even if it is a bit childish but most of them there were.
This was £2.50

P.S. Love Fake Nails- To be honest the only reason I bought these was because they were on special offer but I do actually really like the print and they were the only print on offer which I liked. I'm saving these for summer because I know the coral and blue will look really nice.
These were on offer from £2 to £1

Oopia 50 Pack of Black Hairbands- Hairbands are always needed and I always forget them so I got quite a big pack to put them in loads of places such as my wrist, school bag, bathroom, makeup bag etc. as my annoying hair has a mind of it's own and never co-operates with me so I need a hairband.
This pack of 50 was £1

Black & Pink Aztec Flip Flops- Last summer my flip flops broke, which were also from Primark, so I wanted to get some new ones. There was so many different designs but I went for an aztec print as I really like aztec prints and pink is my favourite colour. They were also super cheap which is amazing.
These were 90p

Urban Fruit 'Smashing' Strawberry Pieces- Usually I'm not someone who picks up the random stuff at the tills but I saw these and wanted to get them as strawberries are my favourite fruit and wanted to see what these were like and OMG these are amazing and I definately will be getting these again.
These were £1.70

P.S. Love Nail Polish in Twilight- Black was a colour which I didn't have any nail polish in so I thought I would get this as it was only 80p to try it out. I had tried a nail polish before from Primark and didn't really like it but this one was better however it did chip only after a couple of days.

Cat Eye Sunglasses- In my last Primark Haul I bought some sunglasses but I've now bought another pair. I've really liked cat eye sunglasses for a while so I thought I would get a cheap pair to see if I like the style and if they suit me. I also like how they come with a case even if it is ugly.

I should probably remove myself from Primark for the time being so I don't buy even more random s**t. I probably will do a Primark clothing haul soon as I do need to get some new clothes.

Morning Routine

As a self confessed YouTube addict I love watching morning routines so I thought it would be fitting and interesting to try it out for myself but in blog post form. On the day I made this I was having a relaxing, stay at home kinda day which I really like and it was also a lot easier to make one.

So as soon I wake up I do the obvious thing and check social media as obviously I don't want to miss anything and I do follow a lot of Americans so they post during the night. I also can never be bothered to get out of bed so I play a couple of games on my phone (my favourite at the moment is Colour Switch). I will then also make my bed and put on my decorative pillows and my throw blanket and make my way downstairs.

I can't function without breakfast so I like to have my breakfast soon after I've woken up. My breakfast is usually with toast or cereal but today I had toast with butter.  I also will have a drink with my breakfast and usually it's either orange or apple juice (I hate tea or coffee so it has to be a cold drink) and on this day I had apple juice.

Just before I get ready for the day I like to kick start my productivity so I will write down my breakfast in my food diary (I can do a separate post on my food diary if you want) and any other tasks while I wait for the bathroom to be free. However sometimes I do procrastinate and end up slouching on my bed on my phone or reading a magazine. Whilst doing this I'm listening to an album on Spotify but I can't remember what one on this day.

I will then wash and get clean because no one wants to be unclean and unhygienic. I have my main shower in the evening so I have a quick wash and focus more on my outfit, makeup and hair.

This was my OOTD for the day that I made this. As I was having a relax day at home and weren't planning to go out I wore my really comfy black leggings from Primark (they're also only £3 which is amazing) and my really comfy hoodie from Primark. I did wear a basic top underneath as I did get a bit hot so I took my hoodie off.

After putting on my clothes for the day I will move onto makeup. As I said I was having a really relax and home-y day so I didn't want to wear a lot but I still wanted to wear some and test out the lip crayon as I hadn't worn it for a whole day before. I really liked this makeup look but next time I would go for a different lip product as this wasn't very good.

Makeup Worn-
-Miss Sporty Insta Glow Foundation in 003 Medium (£.3.49, Superdrug)
-MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed (£4, Superdrug)
-Collection Lengthening Waterproof Mascara (£3.99, Superdrug)
-Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in Popping Pink (£2.99, Superdrug)

I had already washed my hair about 2 days beforehand and was going to wash it that night so I used some dry shampoo and this one is by Girlz Only and it's for brown and dark hair like mine. I then used my Tangle Teezer to get out any knots and brush through the dry shampoo and then I used my normal hairbrush, which is from Primark, to properly brush through and kind of style it as I wasn't going to put any heat on it.

I will then make a to do list on a whiteboard so if anything changes I can change it on there. This day I wanted to take some blog posts for an upcoming post and also actually do some homework as I kept procrastinating on that and I knew I had to get it done.

After writing my to do list it's time to try and conquer them tasks for the day. While I'm doing them I like to have Capital on as I like the songs and I'm also really productive when I'm listening to it. My favourite time to listen to Capital is at 9am for the throwback as they have the best throwback songs (even though once they played a song from last year and that's not really a throwback compared to the other songs they played).

I usually will work on stuff until lunchtime and that's when my morning ends. I really enjoyed making this routine post and I have a lot of different ideas for them so keep an eye out for that. For more of my day follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) and Instagram (@thelipstickinsider).
