Boots Essentials Haul

Recently I went to Boots to stock up on all of the random essentials because I thought that you can never have enough of things like shower gel and haircare. I usually go to Superdrug to get things like this but I thought I would go to Boots as I think there is more selection and I was nearer a quieter Boots. I also bought a lot of Boots own products because I thought they couldn't be that bad if Boots is the UK's biggest pharmacy.

Boots Fresh & Crisp Apple Shampoo & Conditioner- For a long time I have been using the Tesco shampoo and condition in the coconut scent but I was getting a bit bored of it so I thought I would try an apple scented one as I love apple scents. I have yet to have tried this out as I'm keeping it for when my Tesco one runs out so I can't let you know on my thoughts yet.
These were both £1 each from Boots but it was a multibuy so I got both for £1.50

Boots Zingy Minty Fresh Shower Gel- You might know that I love the scent of mint as I included a mint shower gel in my January Favourites. I thought I would pick this up as I don't care what brand of shower gel I use as shower gel is shower gel. I have used this and it was really nice but I wasn't too keen on the scent; it was ok but not the best to repurchase this exact scent.
This was £1 from Boots

Boots Therapy Moisture Rich Bath Essence- I love taking bubble baths and when I do I always put so much bath soak in when I don't need that much so I'm always buying new ones. This is in a rose scent and it smells really nice. I picked it up because the colour of the packaging was so pretty but when I got home and smelt it I fell in love with the scent as it's so nice and will be so relaxing in the bath.
This was 99p from Boots

Minions 60 3 Ply Tissues- Whenever I need a tissue I don't have one to hand so I thought I would get a box of them for my room. I know these aren't the prettiest box of tissues but these was the cheapest so I didn't really care and I do like minions so it doesn't really matter.
This was £1 from Boots

Boots Ultra Towels Cotton Feel, Soft & Dry With Wings Normal- As I was buying a bunch of essentials I thought I would pick up another pack of pads as you can never had enough. I just bought the cheapest but personally I don't think you need to buy the most expensive ones but I know some people might disagree.
These were 79p from Boots

Sanex Dermo Invisible Roll On- I was running out of my current deodorant so I picked up another as it's kind of an essential as no one wants to smell and sweat! I picked up this one because I've used it before and it was on offer and that's what I always with deodorants because they all do the same job!
This was 99p on offer from £1.99 from Boots

Batiste Dry Shampoo Fruity & Cheeky Cherry 50ml- Dry shampoo is actually quite expensive for what it is! I bought a mini version because I personally think it's quite expensive so I'm going to keep buying the Girlz Only from Tesco as that was 1p more and you get 100ml more. I've used this scent before and I really like it so I bought a smaller version which I can put in my bag.
This was £1.26 from Boots

Carex Fun Edition Bubble Gum Hand Gel 50ml- I was on a ban from buying hand sanitizer but I couldn't resist buying this as the scent was really nice and I love the Carex fun edition scents as I have the Carex wipes in strawberry laces which smell amazing. I'm going to keep this for when I've used up my others but when I finished them they might not sell this anymore (I don't know if it's limited edition) so I got it now.
This was £1 on offer from £1.45 from Boots

Motagne Jennesse 7th Heaven Passion Feel Off Face Mask- I don't know why I've never tried a face mask before so I thought I've been alive 14 years so it's time to use more. I thought I would use a sheet face mask as I thought it would be easier to use as you just put it on and take it off after 20-25 minutes. I got the passion fruit one as I have normal skin whereas most of them was for combination and oily skin.
This was £1 from Boots

Boots Paradise Shores Citrus & Red Berries Body Fragrance- I picked up another body fragrance and I got this for my essentials bag as that's one running out. Instead of getting the same one again I picked up a different one as I really liked this scent and I do get really bored of the same thing and I really enjoy trying out other brands to see what I like best.
This was £1 from Boots

Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream- I always hear a bunch of YouTubers talk about Soap & Glory but I've never bought anything from it so I bought some Hand Food which is really popular so I thought I would try it out. I haven't tried this yet as I'm currently using a Cath Kidston one which I love. I definately want to try some more products from Soap & Glory as they all looked so good!
This was £2.50 from Boots

I really hope you enjoyed this post as I'm really enjoying blogging at the moment so I really got into writing this. If you would like more of me follow my Instagram and Twitter and my username is @_louisecarter_. Let me know any suggestions for blog post ideas as I have a long list of ideas.

New Look Wishlist

Wishlist time! Today I'm making a New Look wishlist as I haven't done a wishlist in a while and I thought New Look would be a good place to make one as I have never made one before. I will be making an Asos one more into spring picking my favourite pieces from their spring collection. I might also do Boohoo and Missguided ones as I have never before.

Clockwise from top left
Mela Navy Floral Print Metallic Lace Skater Dress- I really like this dress because it's something I wouldn't normally wear but I think it's really nice because it's a skater dress and I like the gold dress as it adds colour and adds shape to the dress. I really like the lace at the neck because it's different from the whole dress.
This is £26 from New Look

Grey Faux Fur Gilet- Oh my gosh this is so pretty! I think this would be the most perfect accessory for a plain outfit as it's a huge statement. I would wear this with a black top, black leggings and UGG boots with a gold necklace for some colour and I love black and gold together.
This is £34.99 from New Look

Black Embellished Neck Dip Hem T-Shirt- This is a great t-shirt as it's really casual but you could also dress it up because of the shape and the gold neckline. In the daytime you could wear jeans and boots or flats and then for a night out you could wear leather leggings and black heels which I think would look really nice.
This is £12.99 from New Look

Mela Grey Aztec Print Cardigan- I'm not a huge wearer of cardigans but I really like this one as it's a bit of an unusual shape, it has a really cool print as I like aztec prints and it seems really cosy which is always an essential when wearing a cardigan or jumper. If I had this I would probably wear it all the time.
This is £28 from New Look

Clockwise from top left

Black Scuba Floral Print Midi Skirt- I'm not a huge skirt wearer as I only wear skirts for school but I really like this one because it's a midi skirt which I have really been liking the last few months. I really like the print of this as I love floral prints. There is a matching top but I would wear this with a  slouchy black top tucked in.
This is £14.99 from New Look

JDY Cream Abstract Print Jumpsuit- I really, really like this jumpsuit. I love the shape of it with what is supposed to look like a top sticking out and I also really like the patten of the jumpsuit even though now I can't work out what it is but I know it looks really nice otherwise I wouldn't have included this.
This is £18 from New Look.

Grey Fluffy Dog Slippers- A weird thing I have been getting into recently has been slippers (I'm probably secretly an old lady) and these ones are super cute. When I was shopping with my friend Cerys I saw a unicorn pair in Primark which were super cute and I would wear them which is what I would so with this doggy ones.
These are £12.99 from New Look

White Embellished Strappy Heels- Obviously I would never wear these but I really like these so I thought I would include these if you like glittery, strappy heels. I might wear a pair of heels like this for prom as I would want to wear a long bubblegum pink dress with silver detailing so this would be perfect.
These are £39.99 from New Look

Black Abstract Print Slip On Plimsolls- I love these types of shoes so much that I really want to get a pair. They look really casual and comfy and that's my style. I would wear these with jeans instead of my usual trainers as I have a habit of wearing the same shoes every day until the next season or if I get a new pair.
These are £14.99 from New Look

Black Contrast Sitch Tote Bag- I feel like this bag would be perfect for me as it looks like a good size like the New Look bag I already have (you would know that bag if you've read my latest favourites post), the black colour means it goes with every outfit and it also has a shoulder strap which probably would come in handy.
This is £22.99 from New Look

Camel Sparkled Structured Clutch- I never go out on night outs (I am 14!!!) but I really like this clutch. I would use this as a small bag as there is a shoulder chain so I would use this if I was just popping over to Tesco or didn't want to/be bothered to carry a big/normal sized bag.
This is £15.99 from New Look

Stone Baroque Laser Cut Out Purse- I do like my current purse but I'm kinda getting a bit bored of it so I found this one on the New Look website and the print and style is kinda similar. I don't know what the inside is like but hopefully there's a lot of pockets as I need a lot of pockets to be organised!
This is £12.99 from New Look

Purse Polka Dot Stripe Print Frilled Umbrella- An umbrella is an essential all year round if you live in the UK so it would be silly not to include one. I obviously do have an umbrella but it's not cute and I want a cute one so this would be nice. It's probably not one you can store in your handbag but if it's heavy rainfall this will be good.
This is £9.99 from New Look

Cameo Rose Black Stripe Pleated Dress- I actually really like this dress but if you asked me 1 year 1/2 half ago I probably would've said it's disgusting. It looks quite formal but the white gives some more brightness into the dress. This would look nice with black simple heels and a nice clutch.
This is £19.99 from New Look

Black Wool Oversize Fedora- I've never had a fashion hat (like this, I like to call them fashion hats as they're so stylish) because my dad hates them but I wanted to include it as I really like them, especially the black ones, and one day I will wear one and be ever so stylish.
This is £14.99 from New Look

White Hi-Tops Lace Ups- These seriously look like Converse which is amazing! I think Converse is quite expensive and if you get a white pair they're going to get dirty so I would get these similar pair which are only £11.99. I wear these types of shoes all the time so I could always have a new pair!
These are £11.99 from New Look

I really hope you enjoyed this wishlist. If you did enjoy this wishlist there will be more as I really like creating them and this blog is full of content I want to post and if I was a reader I would really enjoy this post. Sorry for that ramble; if you didn't know I do like a ramble now and again. If you would like updates follow me on Twitter and Instagram as I'm always on both, my username is @_louisecarter_

♡ Collective Haul ♡

Today I'm going to be doing another haul! I mentioned it briefly in my last post (which was my Buy,Try, Decide- Superdrug check it out if you haven't read it) I mentioned that this last week was Haul Week like I did my Beauty Wishlist week where I posted a blog post relating to hauls so I did a Tesco Haul last week as my Sunday post and as I mentioned Wednesday's post was Buy, Try, Decide- Superdrug. Sorry for all the rambling so let's get started.

Bic Cristal Fun Biros from WHSmith- I got these fun, colourful biros from WHSmith because I feel like my handwriting is really nice with Bic biros so I got this pack of fun ones so I can have really nice handwriting whilst writing in colour. There is 3 pinks, 3 greens, 2 blues and 2 purples and all of the colours are really beautiful and vibrant.

Katarina Slim Pencil Case from WHSmith- To be honest I didn't really need this but I already have the A4 notebook and storage box from this collection so I thought I would add the slim pencil case. I've been keeping my Bic pens and any other random stationery in here and I keep it on my desk so I will always have everything I need in one place.

Velvetgh0st Stationery Accessory Set from Primark- When I heard YouTuber velvetgh0st/Gabriella was launching a stationery collection with Primark I knew I had to get some things from it. I already have the A5 notebook and pen pot but know I have the stationery accessory set which I love as everything is so cute and random things you might not have like drawing pins/push pins. This set contains-
-6x Binder clips/ Bulldog Clips
-Small notepad
-6x Paper clips
-2x Blue ink pens
-Rubber
-Push Pins/Drawing Pins

8 Crayon Shaped Erasers from WHSmith- I always seem to loose my rubbers so I thought I would get this super cute pack of rubbers as there's 8 for only 49p and they're different and cute so I know that there mine. I also like how they're different colours because they're not boring like your usual rubbers.

B5 Neon Yellow And Pink Notebook from WHSmith- I actually have a valid reason for buying this! The back of my old blogging notebook came off so I got a brand new one. I have the pink neon one and I really like using it so I thought I would get a yellow one as my blogging one which is where I plan my posts.

2x Wilko Metal White Pen Pots from Wilko- I then got this two super cute pen pots from Wilko as I thought they were super cute and Wilko has some really cute stationery for amazing prices. In one pot I keep my fineliners and in the other pot I keep my Sharpies in and the pot with the sharpies looks really nice.

Friends The Complete Tenth Series Boxset from CEX- I love Friends ever since my friend Cerys kept raving about it and I have a lot of episodes in my Sky planner so I thought I should get them on DVD so I could watch them in my room. CEX had whole series for really cheap and the only good packaging they had was series 10 so I thought I would get and it was only £1.50 for the whole series!

Confessions Of A Shopaholic DVD from CEX- I saw this when I was queuing up to pay in CEX and as it was only 50p it kept making me think. I decided to get it as this film seemed like something I would like (which I really do) and it was 50p so if I didn't like it I wouldn't have wasted a lot of money.

P.S. Love Your Skin Antibacterial Hand Wipes from Primark- Hand wipes are something I always need so I got this twin pack as I will use them a lot and it was really cheap. You get 2 packs for originally £1 but I got them for 60p which was really good. I also really like the packaging and it's good they have nice packaging when they're so cheap.

White and Black Polka Dot with Pink Bubblegum Tassel and Zip Makeup Bag from Primark- To be completely honest I didn't really need this makeup bag but I liked it, especially the tassel and I needed to have a Primark makeup bag for an upcoming blog post so I got this one. I don't know what I'm going to use it for as I might keep it at home or use it in my handbag.

P.S Love Beauty Nail Varnish in Baby Doll from Primark- Pink is my favourite colour without a doubt so when I saw this gorgeous nail polish in Primark I knew I had to pick it up and I don't really have a pink like this as all my pinks are neon and my Barry M pastel pink is a lot lighter than this. This was only 80p and it has really cute packaging.

P.S. Love Your Nails Nail Polish Fast Dry Spray from Primark- I saw this with all the random things and thought I should pick it up as I'm really impatient with my nail polish and I've used fast drying spray before and it definitely does make the polish dry faster. This was only 80p so if it doesn't work I wouldn't have wasted a lot of money.

Oopia Copper, Silver and Gold Bar Necklace from Primark- I've really been getting into accessories recently so I've picked up this one because I love how simple it is and I like the mix of all of the metals. It was only £2 and Primark necklaces do have a history of breaking so if it does brake I wouldn't really mind.

Oopia Black and Gold Triangles Necklace from Primark- Following on from my last point I got another necklace to add to my now growing collection. I really like this one because of the gold and black, which I think works really well together. This one was only £3 so I don't care if it breaks.

P.S. Love Beauty Design Nails from Primark- I then got some design nails from Primark as the white ones (which I bought first) wasn't that bold so when I want something bold I can wear these even though they're not bold. They're black and white design and I like these as they will go with any outfit. And these were only £1, bargain!

P.S. Love 8 Shade Eyeshadow Palette from Primark- Then from the P.S Love range I got the eyeshadow palette as I've heard a lot of people talk about them. I picked up the day one as I would wear it a lot more than the night one as I don't go on night outs and I don't wear a smoky eye on an ordinary day.

P.S. Love Beauty Plain White Nails from Primark- As well as getting the design nails I got plain white ones as I love white nails and I usually wear white nail polish so I thought I should pick up the white fake nails. What I also love about these you could paint them with whatever nail varnish if you couldn't find a good colour from the range.

P.S. Love Liquid Lipstick in 01 Pink and 07 Neon Pink from Primark- I'm usually not a fan of lip glosses so I didn't pick any up but I thought I would try these liquid lipsticks as I haven't never tried one before. I picked up two colours, a light pink and a neon pink and I am excited to try these as I haven't tried them yet.

Barry M Lipstick in Pillar Box Red from Boots- I then picked up a Barry M lipstick in Pillar Box Red as I've heard a lot of people talk about it and rave about it and as I bought this in December it was good for the festive season. I really like this as it's a gorgeous colour and it's really moisturising and doesn't stain.

Strawberry & Raspberry Antibacterial Hand Gel from Superdrug- I picked up some hand sanitizer as it's a good essential to have in your house or in your bag. This is really good value as it smells delicious as I love the scent of strawberry and it's a good size (100ml) for 61p

P.S. Love Beauty Lash Defining Mascara from Primark- As you might know mascara is my favourite product of makeup so I thought I would try out and it was only £2. I won't tell you my thoughts as I bought all these P.S Love Beauty products for an upcoming blog posts in case you're wondering why I bought all these stuff.

P.S. Love Beauty Red Lip Crayon from Primark- I am really trying to get into red lips as I think red suits me so I got a red lip crayon as I love wearing lip crayons as they're like a lipstick when on the lips but I personally think lip crayons are easier to apply and I love the easy route.

So that was all of my purchases. I spent £54.26 overall which might seem a lot but it thinks I will use and all of that P,S. Love products are for an upcoming blog post so it is for the blog but obviously it will be all used so none of it is wasted. If you would like updates on my life follow me on Twitter and Instagram @_LouiseCarter_ and remember I post every Sunday at 7am GMT so there will be a post tomorrow but it's not a haul.

Quick Update!

Hi guys this is just a quick post from me to make a little announcement. I have decided to stop having a schedule on my blog so I can post when I want. Basically I have way too many ideas that if I was uploading once a week the posts wouldn't be very up to date as I would write them months before. In my school holidays I'm going to be posting a lot more than when I'm in school but I will still be trying my hardest to get the best posts up for you as I love blogging. Over the next coming weeks or so I'm going to upload all the 10 posts scheduled but I won't do it all at once at otherwise it would feel like I'm reading a 1000 word essay.

I want to do more diary style post as recently I've had  the feeling that I want to write about my day so sometimes you might be getting that sort of post from me but I hope you don't mind as The Lipstick Insider is my little space of the internet where I can post whatever I want.

You guys loved the Q&A I posted on Wednesday so I'm thinking about making it a monthly feature as I had a blast making that post so I want to do more. If you have any questions you can Tweet them to me and my username is @_louisecarter_ or leave them in a comment below.

Day In The Life- 17/2/16

I love watching day in the life videos on YouTube so I thought I would try it out in blog post style. I have documented everything I done on Wednesday 17th February 2016 which was on half term. If you like this I might do more as I enjoyed making this one and it would be good to do it on maybe a weekend.

*I did take lots of pictures for this however when I was sending them to my laptop it failed so there's no pictures and I'm very sorry*

7:30am- Wake up and check social media. I do this every morning but on a school morning I check everything after I'm ready- I don't know why but as today I was on half term I like checking it when I wake up whilst still in bed as it's comfy and makes it a good morning.

7:40am- Go downstairs and eat breakfast. Today my breakfast was buttered toast which isn't very original but I like it. I have to eat breakfast every morning as when I wake up I'm really hungry so if I don't eat I'll probably be sick.

8:00am- Do something productive- write food diaries and make lists for the day. I like to do this when I'm on school holiday as it makes me feel more productive so I write down what I eat for breakfast in my food diary (it helps me eat healthier) and make any lists on things I want to do that day

8:10am- Get ready for the day, apply my makeup whilst listening to Spotify. I don't like staying in my pyjamas for too long in the morning as I feel gross so I have to get ready as soon as possible. When I'm in the bathroom I apply my makeup (let me know if you want an everyday makeup routine) and I do this all whilst listening to Spotify as music helps me get ready faster

8:35am- Watch TV whilst drinking apple juice. Before I start to do anything and after I'm ready I always have to watch some TV whilst drinking juice and this has been  part of my morning routine for a long time

9:40am- Start taking blog photos. I take a lot of blog photos when I'm on half term as I like having them ready and I like taking them when there's good lighting and I usually can't get them in the term time as I'm at school

9:58am- I usually get a headache every morning- I have no idea why I always do but today I did get one so I took a break and went on my phone which isn't the best thing but I was bored so I went on my phone for a while

10:20am- My sister Georgia had come home from the hairdressers so we went in my room and had a nice long chat- we do this a lot today!

11:16am- Today myself, dad and Georgia went to Pizza Express for lunch so this time I left after packing my bag and put on my shoes and coat

12:00pm- So this time I was eating my lunch (well at this time it was my main) so for my lunch I had bruschetta for my starter because its my absolute fave, then I had a pollo salad with no olives for my main and a vanilla cheesecake for desert.

1:00pm- I got home from Pizza Express just thought to document that

1:05pm- Again Georgia came into my room and we talked and watched some YouTube videos together

1:23pm- Blogging time!

1:29pm- Planning for tomorrow and some other things I want to do this week

1:32pm- Making a template for What I Eat In A Day which I'm doing tomorrow

1:40pm- The current blog post I was working on was an Asos Wishlist so I started writing that but I got distracted with some other blog stuff and then my laptop froze anyway

1:45pm- I promoted 2 blog posts as 2 went up that day which are a Buy, Try, Decide- Superdrug and a Q&A so go check them out

1:52pm- I forgot to write in my food diary when I got home so I done that whilst I was sorting out my laptop

2pm- I continued writing my Asos Wishlist as I was in a really productive mood

2:29pm- I live really near a Tesco so I popped over there to get something for my dinner as I didn't want a sandwich

2:50pm- I got home from Tesco- it didn't take half a hour, I actually took a while getting ready and I bought a BBQ chicken wrap and some Maryland Soft Baked Double Choc Chip Cookies

2:59pm- I finished writing my Asos Wishlist as I didn't have much left so I got it over and done with

3:11pm- As I finished writing my Asos Wishlist I thought I would wear some blogs and some celebrity gossip online

3:37pm- Back to work and it was time to start writing down my Q&A questions in my blogging notebook so I had a note for it

4:03pm- I started texting Georgia who was in her room and I was in my room #lazy #ineedmoreexercise

4:40pm- Start getting ready for dinner so I got the plates out and starting making drinks and stuff

4:56pm- Dinner time! I had my BBQ chicken wrap, a chocolate desert for my afters and some lemonade

5:07pm- After dinner it's always time for me to do some blogging

5:46pm- Because I was so productive earlier I got lazy this evening so I started watching some music videos

6:46pm- Again I talked with Georgia- #siblingsgoals

7:13pm- Me and my friend Nicha started texting about random stuff so she got me distraced.

7:40pm- Time for shower and do my skincare routine and put my pjs on and get ready for bed but no it's not time for bed

8:24pm- I planned my evening as I like to do a lot of organising and planning in the evenings

8:29pm- I started writing this post and now it's 21:19pm and I've wrote up till this point

9:24pm- Continue writing my I Heart Spring Tag which we will be up in March so sorry for the wait

9:39pm- As I was so productive in the afternoon I wasn't in the evening so I stopped writing as I got bored and I weren't in a writing mood and if I want to write a blog post I have to be in the right mindset

9:41pm- I started watching some music videos on my laptop as I don't really watch many music videos anymore

10:20pm- I layed in bed on my phone listening to my Spotify playlist so I just relaxed

10:54pm- I switched from my phone to my Kindle Fire to watch YouTube and I always watch videos late at night on my kindle so I can be in a bed

11:35pm- The last thing I do before I go to bed is check Instagram as I am a bit obsessed with Instagram

11:45pm- Bed Time! I have been going to bed after 12 but this day I was too tired so I went to bed a little earlier

So that was my day I really hope you enjoyed this post and I might do another on a weekend as that's usually a bit different. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram for more updates on my life and my username is @_louisecarter_. Again I am really sorry for no pictures but I did take lots so it's out of my hands

Q&A

So it's a Tuesday evening at 9:32pm on half term as I write this and I have no idea when this is going up or how long it will take me as I have to make a thumbnail and stuff so it might take me months, years, decades to write a simple Q&A post. I'm in a rambley mood so I apologize. I wanted to do a Q&A as it's simple (lazy) and I can do it with no pictures and the last time I did one was September so it's overdue

1. What kind of phone do you have?
I have a Microsoft Lumia 640 LTE and I really like it. It was a very early Christmas present as I got it at the end of October last year. The only problems I have with it is that the Instagram is not the one on iPhones and androids as it's a different layout and there's no dm-ing which makes me sad and there's no Snapchat although I probably would only have 5 friends on there.

2. Do you prefer clothes or shoes?
Definitely clothes- I love buying clothes but I could go for years without buying shoes. I like looking at shoes but I'm happy with what I have and I always wear the same shoes anyway so it doesn't really matter. I recently bought a new pair of shoes from Primark and they're really nice but they're really uncomfortable and they're trainers- it's because there's a massive platform so I need to wear them more instead of my Forever 21 black slip ons.

3. What would you do with £1000?
SPEND IT! I would be really horrible and spend it all myself as it's not enough money to buy a house and have loads left over to help out your family. I would buy a really nice handbag, then I would buy lots of makeup, especially mac lipsticks and then I probably would blow the rest on random things like Lush, stationery and loads of clothes from Primark (I would probably be able to afford Topshop but I have a cheap heart)

4. What's your favourite non-alcoholic drink?
None as I only drink alcohol- DON'T WORRY I'M ONLY JOKING I HAVE NEVER DRUNK ALCOHOL!!!! I love diet coke and I'm a little bit obsessed with it. Random story but in English we had to write a speech about ourself which was the hardest thing ever but I'm reading mine out when I'm talking about my obession with Diet Coke and I couldn't speak for the whole speech afterwards as I was trying not to laugh and it sounded like I was crying but I was trying not to cry from laughter. Anyway I also love milkshakes like McDonalds milkshakes but don't go to BBs and have chocolate milkshakes as they're disgusting and you will probably spill them on the floor as the lid wasn't on properly (True story- it happened when I went shopping with my friend Cerys)

5. How big is your house?
It's the normal size for a 3 bedroom house. It has a good sized living room, a big kitchen, 2 good sized bedrooms, a small-ish bathroom and a box room.

 6. Are you a good liar?
I am- I'm very good at making up realistic excuses or anything realistic as I'm a very realistic person so it comes natural to me.

7. What do you have on your fridge door?
Nothing- we did have magnets but one day they disappeared. Sad times. RIP magnets

8. Do you sing in the shower?
No I sing anywhere but the shower. In the car, my bedroom, the toilet or whenever says something that is a song lyric I burst into song. Once I was watching a programme and 1 character said a line from Thinking Out Loud and then the other quoted Sam Smith (I can't remember what song) and I made a mashup. I'm weird.

9. Do you believe in aliens?
Sorry aliens but I don't- I don't believe in anything but I pretend to some kid in school that I believe in unicorns and he calls me a fantasy BUT I KNOW THEY'RE NOT REAL SADLY!!!

10. What's your favourite fruit?
I don't really like fruit as I'm more of a vegetable person but I like strawberry's but not anything strawberry flavoured like milkshakes or ice cream but I like normal strawberry's and the scent of strawberry. Especially the strawberry scent from The Body Shop which I could eat.

11. Have you ever given blood?
No I am only 14 and I don't think 14 year olds give blood but I could be wrong

12. Have you ever played golf?
Does TopGolf count? I done that on my activities week in year 6 when everyone else (not the whole year but most people) went Wales I stayed home and one of the activities was TopGolf which I was crap at but I did get one really good shot. When my sister went she met Mark Wright which I was a little jealous as I haven't met any celebrity and it's my dream to meet one. I have also played mini golf on holiday but I always get competitive so don't play mini golf with me

13. Do you collect anything?
No but at one point in my weird childhood I collected stones. Yes stones but I gave that up quickly.

14. What's the worst chatup line you've heard?
"Hey baby, I've got AIDS"

15. Have you ever been in a fight?
No why would anyone want to fight with me?

16. Were you a member of any celebrity fan club?
No that's never been my thing fan club or anything to do with being a fan like fan mail or meetups like once I was in Lakeside shopping centre the day YouTuber Fleur DeForce had a meetup but obviously I didn't go even though I had watched her for 2 years

17. Are you a giver or receiver?
I have to be honest but I only give when it's an occasion like birthday or Christmas but when I give I give really well like last year my Christmas presents were amazing (especially for my friend Cerys) and I gave my friends large Easter eggs so I would say I'm a giver as I enjoying giving

18. What's your favourite biscuit to dunk?
I'm not very British read my British Tag to find that out link HERE so I don't like tea so I don't dunk but if I did it probably would be a digestive or weirdly a custard cream. I want some custard creams now

19. Have you ever had chicken pox?
Yes I had in reception or playschool so I doubt I will ever get it again *touch wood*

20.. What's your favourite food beginning with the letter p?
PIZZA!!!! Easiest question to answer as what else could it be pasta, which is ok, pancakes, don't have them much, OMG PESTO BEGINS WITH P and I love pesto so much so could I say pesto pizza as I love pizzas with pesto on.

I really hope you enjoyed high Louise (the only thing I can be high on is water as I haven't eaten or drank anything else since 6:30). I should do more posts like this as it you really get to know me more. I'm going to do more posts and a lot more which are personal like little funny stories and funny tags. For me of me follow me on Twitter and Instagram and my username is @_louisecarter_ (I just spelt my surname wrong- I changed it but I called myself Louise Carer)

Edit- I actually made the thumbnail straight after writing this post and I finished it in 50 minutes so I'm really proud of myself so I put it up the next day. I was going to do it now but I thought it was a bit too late as I like my posts going up in the morning and I like them going up at nice times (either o'clock or half past). I have also uploaded a new blog post which is a Buy, Try, Decide- Superdrug

Buy, Try, Decide- Superdrug

So today on The Lipstick Insider I'm going to be starting a new series which is Buy, Try, Decide which is where I buy something I've never tried before, try it out and then decide whether I like it or not. The first place I'm trying out is Superdrug. If you have any suggestions on what other things I could buy, try and decide, let me know in the comments.

Firstly we have this Studio London Beauty Tool Set which was £4.99 however I think it was in the January sale as I'm writing this in advance. This set contains-
-A black satin pouch
-Water drop shaped sponge
-Powder brush
-Blusher brush
-Eyeshadow brush
-Blending brush
-Lip brush
-Eyebrow brush and comb
-2x Nail files

My first thought was that these brushes look like Real Techniques brushes so I'm guessing they're a dupe (I've never tried them but I really want to) for them so this is a cheaper option. They're really soft which I love. You get all the brushes you need for an everyday face and you get a pouch so you can carry these around in your bag for any top ups of if you're going on holiday. I'm glad there's a beauty blender dupe as everyone raves about it and I've wanted to try it but it's expensive. The only downfall is that the brushes are a bit hard to grip because of the slippy material.

I then got the Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick in Paper Rose 16. This is such a gorgeous colour and a wearable one so it's the perfect lipstick to keep in your bag. I also love how it's not drying on the lips which I didn't expect for a £2.99 lipstick. I know it's only £2.99 but I would've liked better packaging as it's a bit plain and boring. However it's great for the price as it's pigmented, not drying and doesn't budge when eating which for me who loves food is important, very important.

I then decided to pick up another Collection mascara as I haven't actually tried this one which is the Collection Lengthening Mascara Length & Definition which was £3.99. I was really excited to use it this and when I put it on I was disappointed because it wasn't volumizing so I didn't get any definition so only get this if you want length. It does have good length so I think this will be my mascara for school and no makeup makeup days. I don't know about you but I feel like the packaging looks like Maybelline like in the shape wise which I hadn't realized before. Another problem I have about this mascara is that there is does fall off without rubbing your eyes which is really annoying so I carry this round with makeup wipes to take off and reapply.

I then got this Miss Sporty Clubbing Colour Less Than 1 Minute Quick Dry in Lilac after I saw velvetgh0st/Gabriella and LucyAndLydia  do sponsored videos on and I thought I would try it out not really expecting anything special. This is a good colour and I don't have any lilac colours like this and as you might know pastels are my favourite colours. You need 3 coats for this to be fully opaque which I was expecting as this was only £1.99. This could've had a more inventive name as lilac is quite a boring name as I prefer cute names but I have noticed cheap polishes have less cute names. Lastly the bottle could be cuter as I love my cute stuff but I understand that's there's not a lot of money to make cute bottles but I'll live.

The two packs of wipes I have are Quickies 12 Allergen Free 4 in 1 Facial Wipes £1.99 and Carex Complete Fun Edition Strawberry Laces Wipes £1.50. The Quickies ones are a good pack to have in your bag as they remove makeup makeup, cleanses, tones and moisturises. I just want to add here that these are both from the travel sized stuff at Superdrug. The Carex ones smell amazing, good enough to eat and these are also a good pack to havein your bag as they smell nice, flat and are soft cleansing.

Finally I have the Zoella Beauty Foam Sweet Foam Cleansing Shower Gel which was £3.50 which is quite expensive for a shower gel but I'm happy to repurchase. This smells amazing and it's the same scent as the tutti frutti collection which I love. The packaging is gorgeous and I like how it's see-through so you know when to repurchase it. This is really cleansing which is good as the name suggests and finally this works well with the Zoella body scrub.

I really hope you enjoyed this and remember to let me know if you enjoyed this and also let me know what other things I can buy, try and decide! Follow me on Twitter and Instagram for updates and my username on both is @_louisecarter_. I also hope you liked this bonus extra post and I have another haul on Sunday as part of haul week which I have now called this week.
Thanks for reading
Louise
