Beauty Wishlist Part 1

Hi,
This week on The Lipstick Insider is Beauty Wishlist week where I will be sharing with you my beauty wishlist over three post. Yes you did read that right 3 POSTS! This part is today (Sunday) and then part 2 is next Sunday but there will also be an extra post on Wednesday at 7am! I will be doing more of these sorts of weeks in the future so leave me suggestions in the comments.
Lets get started!

-Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation

I’ve wanted a good quality foundation for ages so I’ve added this Maybelline one because I’ve heard a lot of good things about it so hopefully it’s good. Also the price is good- not too cheap but not too expensive.

-Barry M Flawless Concealer

I love the Collection concealer and because that’s so cheap, I want to try another super cheap concealer to see how the compare. I love Barry M so I have high standards and I want to see if this gives me a flawless look.

-Maybelline Matte Maker Powder

This is a legendary powder and highly renowned so I really want to try it. Also it’s by Maybelline and Maybelline is an amazing drugstore, affordable brand. Maybelline also has another powder called Fit Me which is to help skin but luckily I don’t need that at the moment!

-L’Oreal True Match 105 Rose Past

I love rosy blush shades because they look gorgeous in the packaging and I think they suit me quite well. The True Match collection by L’Oreal has had rave reviews by all of the beauty vloggers and bloggers so I want to try it.

 -Barry M After Glow Bronzer
I know bronzer is a thing of the summer but I might want to be a bit bronzer one day. This bronzer looks gorgeous and I think it would look quite nice so if I did got this I would probably use it all summer and maybe in the other months too!

-Sleek MakeUP Highlighter Palette in Precious Metals
I’ve never used highlighter before so to try it out I thought it would be a good idea to get a palette to see what colours suit me. I’ve heard a lot of things about Sleek’s makeup palettes so I have high expectations.

-Maybelline Eyeshadow Palette The Nudes

This is a cult drugstore Eyeshadow palette and I really want to try it! Nude eyeshadows are probably the best way to go because they look gorgeous and I wouldn't be brave enough to wear bright eyeshadows.

-Rimmel Scandaleyes Micro Liner Black

I’ve swatched this before and thought it was really good so I don’t know why I didn’t buy it. I’m always scared about applying liquid liner because I’m worried that it’s not going to be equal and I’m gonna mess it up

-Collection Does It All Mascara Waterproof in Black 17

I’ve read a lot of reviews on the Collection mascaras and they’ve all been good so I don’t know why I haven’t picked one up, especially when they’re so cheap. I love mascaras that seem to do everything so this one should be perfect.

-Rimmel London Wonder’Full Wake Me Up Mascara

This mascara came out earlier this year and since its release it has had some good reviews so I really want to try it. I’m always tired in the morning so as this mascara has cucumber in, hopefully it will help me feel more awake.

-Collection Little Mix Lip Balms Jade 1- Raspberry

Collection is an amazing makeup brand, especially because it’s so affordable and I love Little Mix so hopefully this lip balm is good. I’m always using lip balm and I love raspberry scents so I have high expectations.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are going to come back on Wednesday and next Sunday as I'm very excited about Wednesday's post as I haven't seen anything like it on the web.
Thanks for reading,
Louise

Trying American Candy

Hi,
Today I'm going to be sharing with you my thoughts on American Candy. I know you can't see my reaction but I'll try and describe it as best I can. I only have 4 pieces because my Tesco didn't have much but I will be going somewhere else to get some more and I will do a part 2.
Lets get started!

Wild About Nerds
- What-A-Melon and So Very Cherry
£1
I have had Nerds before so I did know what to expect and I did like these. They weren't my favourite out of everything I tried but I did like them. Out of the watermelon and cherry I preferred the watermelon ones probably because I am a bigger watermelon fan than a cherry fan even though I liked the cherry ones. I would get these again because they were nice and the price is good but a box where you get quite a lot.

Hershey's Cookies 'n' Chocolate
-Milk Chocolate with Cookies Bits
35p/ Was 70p
I had never had any cookies 'n' chocolate Hershey's products before so to be honest I didn't think it was going to be very good as I've heard it's not as good as Cadburys. Whilst it's not as good as Cadbury's and Galaxy, it was still really nice and reminded me of Galaxy's Cookie Crumble which is one of my favourite chocolate bars. They do Hershey's kisses in this flavour so I want to try them. I might have this again because it's quite cheap.

Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme
-White Chocolate Flavoured Candy With Cookie Pieces
35p/Was 70p
I was expecting more with this chocolate bar because I love the Hershey's Kisses in this flavour but the chocolate bar wasn't as good as I thought it would be because it was very slickly and didn't have much crunch which it should've had because it has cookie pieces in it. However I did like it but I would stick to the kisses in this flavour.

Mint Creme Oreo
-Mint Creme Cookies
£6
These were the best thing in this Trying American Candy post as I absolutely loved these and I'm happy that there was so many. I had a feeling I was going to like these because I like mint stuff (the colour and the flavour) and also Oreos so I'm glad that I liked these otherwise I would've been upset because they were £6. It's a shame about the price as otherwise I would get these a lot but I can fork out £6 for these.

I hope you enjoyed these different sort of post as it gives me an excuse to eat sweets and biscuits. If you have any recommendations of things for me to try leave them in the comments below or if you've tried any of these things or want to also leave them in the comments.
See you soon,
Louise

Morning Life Hacks

I used to be a morning person but in the last year or so I have not and I have been struggling to get out of bed these days so I have compiled this list of hacks that will hopefully streamline your morning and give you more time in bed!

Make breakfast the night before or have a go-to breakfast - Every morning I have cereal and that is very easy and quick to make and eat but I know not everyone likes having cereal so you could have a go-to breakfast which is quick to make, eggs on toast or porridge. You could make a smoothie or a fruit salad the night before and keep it in the fridge. I’m not inventive at all at breakfast time so just watch some YouTube videos.

Quick makeup routine and have it in one small makeup bag -This tip is really useful to me as I always drop or lose everything, especially the makeup I want to wear that day so the night before I will put all the makeup and products into a small makeup bag and then I have everything for the next day as well. If you’re looking for a makeup bag of any size look in Primark as they have so many.

Make your lunch the night before -This is something that I’ve been taught to do for years. Basically I make all of my lunch the night before and keep it in the fridge or porch. In my lunchbox I usually have a sandwich (usually tuna and sweetcorn as I don’t like many sandwich fillings anymore, crisps, frube, fruit of some sort and a chocolate or bakery treat for break time. However sometimes I do bring in shop-bought salads as you don’t need to make anything but that can get expensive in the long run.

Develop a routine you do every day -Every morning I have a routine down to the mirror. I probably won’t do a morning routine so I’ll run down my routine.
-I get up about 6:20am
-I then have breakfast which is always cereal
-I then get ready for school including makeup
-I then go on my laptop for an hour and blog for 30 minutes
-At 7:30 I pack any other things in my bag such as glasses case and makeup bag. I will still then go on my laptop.
-At 7:50ish I turn on my earphones, put my lunch in my bag and leave the house to meet my friend Cerys usually.

Place your alarm somewhere you have to get up/ other side of the room -I don’t use an alarm as if I did I would always hit the snooze button but if you do use an alarm, I would say place it on the other side of the room as you have to get up and in a way it forces you to get out the room and onto the next step of your routine.

Dry shampoo will become your best friend - On a school night 9 times out of 10 you’re not going to be bothered to wash your hair so you need dry shampoo in your life and it honestly will be your best friend. I like Batiste dry shampoo but I’ve also heard that Collab dry shampoo is really good so I might need to try that.

Keep your essentials in a key place so you know where they are every morning- I keep all of my essentials on my dresser so when I’m leaving my room I can pick everything up as my dresser is right by the door. I also keep everything I use in the morning on my dresser as in the morning I can never ever be bothered to find everything so I do it in the evening when I’m in a tidy mood and can be bothered to get everything ready for the morning.

Clean up the night before- It will make you feel more motivated in the morning and you know where everything is in the morning. When my room is tidy I’m less productive so keeping your space tidy is really important and it’s prettier and more inviting

Drink! - You need to drink all the time but it is very important in the morning as your body loses fluids in the night (I got all of this from a Morning Routine video!) Water is probably better but I like to have juice because it fills me up until break time and it’s delicious.

Playlist!A playlist for me is now essential for me when I’m getting ready in the morning because it makes me get ready that little bit faster and it makes getting ready more enjoyable as I have something to sing along to. Music might not be for everyone as it might get people distracted but I like listening to my Spotify Getting Ready playlist.

So I hope these hacks will help you to have a better morning and maybe you will even become a morning person. Having said that I am in no way on becoming a morning person but maybe in the next year or so (probably not though)

My Favourite YouTubers

As you probably know YouTube is my life. I watch so much that is so unhealthy but whilst risking my health I have found some amazing YouTubers that I'm going to share with you now and maybe you'll check them out! I put together a list of 10 and I will also tell me my favourite videos from them as well! Lets get started!

LaurDIY
LaurDIY is the YouTube channel run by Lauren Riikimaki and she is posts DIYs every Sunday. I really like her upbeat personality and her videos are really good. She also has a second channel, LaurDIY2 where she posts vlogs of her travels and hanging out with her friends.
I would recommend you check out Lauren if you like DIYs and room dĂ©cor videos as that's what Lauren does her videos based around.
My Favourite LaurDIY videos:

Zoella
We all knew Zoella was going to be in this post. Zoella is the YouTube channel run by Zoe Sugg and she posts fashion, beauty and lifestyle videos every Sunday. She also has a second channel MoreZoella which I also enjoy. On that channel she posts vlogs of her daily life about her pug Nala, her launches and hanging with her boyfriend Alfie (PointlessBlog). You would like Zoe's channel if you like sit-down basic videos like hauls, favourites and challenges!
My Favourite Zoella videos:

Emma Blackery
This is a recommendation that I need to thank my friend Cerys for as she introduced me to Emma Blackery. Emma Blackery is a little different to the others as she doesn't do fashion and beauty like the two above. Emma posts videos of sketches and her complaining and funny videos which are very very funny. Emma has 2 other channels Boxes Of Foxes, which is her lifestyle channel and she posts reviews of makeup products and does Lush hauls and other videos that someone like Zoella would do and her other channel is Birdy Boots which is her gaming channel. I would like to point out that the picture I used is old as it's when she had red hair but I used it because I think she looks amazing with the red hair. I must point out that Emma swears A LOT so if you don't like that, then she might not be for you.
My Favourite Emma Blackery Videos:

AlishaMarie
AlishaMarie is the YouTube channel run by AlishaMarie (no you don't say)! I really like Alisha's videos as they're fun, colourful and upbeat, which is what I like! Her videos are similar to LaurDIY's but I don't mind as I enjoy them sorts of videos. Alisha also has a vlog channel called vlogbby11 and I love her vlogs- it's her personality and I just love them! The videos Alisha does are DIYs, routines, school videos and fun videos so if you like that sort of stuff check Alisha out!
My Favourite AlishaMarie Videos:
- Sleepover Expectations vs. Reality
- Back To School Life Hacks (Her back to school videos are     amazing BTW)
- DIY Room DĂ©cor! Tumblr Inspired Room Decorations

ThatcherJoe
ThatcherJoe is the YouTube channel run by Joe Sugg, the brother of Zoella. He posts videos that are funny, pranks and collabs. I usually find it difficult to find male YouTubers that I like and enjoy watching but I really like watching Joe and I look forward to Sugg Sunday (the day him and Zoella both upload).
If you like funny videos you're most likely to like him as I know a lot of people like him (he does have over 5m subscribers!) so check him out!
My Favourite ThatcherJoe Videos:
- The Reacting To My Old Diary series
- ThatcherJoe Does That Candy Video
- YouTubers Whispers

Bethany Mota
Bethany Mota posts videos on fashion, beauty, DIYs and routines so she is very similar to LaurDIY and AlishaMarie but I like them styles of videos with amazing editing. Bethany doesn't most post that much any more- in the summer she uploaded quite frequently but I haven't seen a video for a while. Beth is one of the most subscribed girls on YouTube and I can understand as she has a wonderful personality and her videos are good when she does upload.
My Favourite Bethany Mota Videos:

Maybaby
Maybaby is the YouTube channel run by Meg DeAngelis that post videos on girl struggles, routines and DIYs. My friend Nicha introduced me to Meg and I'm so glad she did because I really like her videos and her personality. My favourite videos from her are her girl struggles which include What Girls Do On The Internet and Weird Things Every Girl Does At School although I like any video that Meg posts. Meg is a bit different to AlishaMarie, Bethany Mota and LaurDIY as Meg posts more girl struggles videos whilst the others post more Tumblr-ly videos.
My Favourite Maybaby Videos:

Dan & Phil
Dan and Phil have the YouTube channels danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil and collectively they have the YouTube channel together called DanAndPhilGAMES and I love them all!!! On their individual channels they both post videos on struggles and comedy and then on their gaming channel they post videos of them playing games (duh!). Their most popular gaming videos are them playing The Sims 4 which I also enjoy.
My Favourite danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil Videos:
- The Not-Milk Challenge (Phil)

MyLifeAsEva
MyLifeAsEva is the YouTube channel run by Eva Gutowski  and she posts videos similar to LaurDIY, AlishaMarie, Bethany Mota and Maybaby but she does do some original content like high school you vs. child you and her original web show, How To Survive High School, which was amazing by the way. She also has a fun song on her channel called Literally My Life and I bloody love that song so as you can tell I really like Eva. Eva was also the way I found AlishaMarie who then found me loads of other American YouTubers.
My Favourite MyLifeAsEva Videos:

Aspyn Ovard Aspyn Ovard has the YouTube channel  Aspyn Ovard and her videos are very similar  to AlishaMarie, LaurDIY, Maybaby, Bethany Mota and MyLifeAsEva but all of them are different as they all have different personalities. I also love her vlog channel Aspyn and Parker where she vlogs her relationship with ,fiancĂ©e when I write this, husband when you read this ,Parker.
My Favourite Aspyn Ovard Videos:

Other YouTubers You Should Check Out!
- Buzzfeed
- Dan & Phil Games
- MoreZoella
- Boxes Of Foxes
- Elle Fowler
- Marcus Butler
- MamaMiaMakeup
- Sierra Futado

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I know it was very long and took me ages to write so it would really nice if you are actually reading down here! I know you have if you leave a comment telling me some YouTubers to watch as I always love finding some new YouTubers to watch!

Asos Wishlist | Autumn/Winter 2015

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to be doing an autumn/winter Asos Wishlist. I love making wishlists so I'll probably end up doing one every season as I want to! I will be doing some other wishlists including beauty, which is coming up shortly so look out for that! Enough rambling from me, lets get started!

Minnie Mouse was always and still is my favourite Disney character (not including princesses) so I think this backpack is super cute! I am a sucker for backpacks and I think I have a problem. This bag would be super cute for school as it's big but also super cute!

A lighter version (in terms of weight) was on trend earlier this year at around spring time and I believe these will be also massive. I think this one is really beautiful and the perfect autumn coat. The colour wouldn't normally be my cup of tea but I think it looks really nice here.

I've loved denim shirts for ages now but I've never got one and I do really want one. I prefer the lighter wash ones as they go with more outfits. I also prefer them unbuttoned with a cute top underneath and a different shade of jeans (preferably black) so you're wearing double denim but it's not noticeable .

This dress is so gorgeous and I'll probably never wear anything like this :( I would wear this to any sort of formal event as this looks like a princess dress but when will I have any sort of event to go to (insert sad face here). I love the white and pink together as they're my favourite colours and it looks really, really beautiful.

This dress is really, really beautiful like the dress above. If you read my last blog LouiseSprinkles, which you can still read HERE,  you would know that I love skater dresses and I also love pretty embellishment so this dress is perfect for me. I don't know what I would wear it for but nevertheless I still love it.

This jumper is really, really pretty and would be perfect for this time of year. Shame about the price tag as realistically I would buy a £9 jumper but as this is a wishlist I can add whatever I want. I love the outfit that this is paired with but that's not realistic now; I would wear it with black jeans and hi-tops.

Jeans are the item of clothing I wear the most, probably, so I always want/need more. At the moment I would like a very dark wash blue pair as I don't currently have any and I've loved them for ages. I really like the outfit that this has been paired with above as I really love the look of jeans being smartened up.

I've loved Michael Kors' watches for the longest time and I'm still lusting over them, especially this gorgeous rose gold one. I'm usually not the biggest fan of rose gold (shocker!) but it looks really nice here. I also love the diamantĂ©'s around the face as it's super beautiful and looks really nice with the rose gold.

When I was looking through Asos for hoodies I couldn't find any that I liked apart from this one. I'm not a big fan of grey but I'm a fan of grey hoodies as they look super cute with jeans or anything denim on the bottom half of your body. I like how the logo is really small here as on all of the other hoodies on Asos had massive logos, which I don't like.

Dungarees have been massive this year and it's been a trend that I've really liked this year (I haven't liked a lot of them) and I don't know why but I didn't get any! It's probably a bit too late now but I added these to the wishlist as you could dress these up for a night out with heels and a nice t-shirt.

River Island is a shop that I never shop in and I always forget about it but when I was looking on Asos for this wishlist (which stocks River Island) I found some really nice pieces from them. I love shirts as you can dress them up or down and they're really sleek. A dream outfit would be this shirt, leather-look leggings and black heels.

I really like heeled ankle boots, well I like any ankle boots actually. Even though these are 60s inspired, I actually like these as these don't really look like 60s boots so I would actually wear these. I would wear these with jeans and a coat as that's pretty much my autumn/winter outfit.

As you know I'm a huge fan of skater skirts and dresses so obviously I was going to add one in. I'm pretty sure I added this in a wishlist on my old blog but I'll add it here anyway. Skater skirts look amazing all year round and this season you could wear this with a cropped jumper, tights and ankle boots.

I know sunglasses season has come and go but I felt like adding sunglasses into this wishlist in case we do get some sun and we need them #louiselogic. I really like the Ray-Ban Wayfarer style and I think it really suits me. I know these would look alright on me as I have the same pair in pink.

This top is the story of my life so I think I need it! I always feel like I have nothing to wear so I just wear the same thing all the time. I would buy this a bit baggier so I could wear this as loungewear and wear it round my house with leggings with me looking like a tramp!

I really like checked shirts, especially as flannels, so I've wanted one for the longest time as I keep seeing the American YouTubers wearing them and I think they look so nice. Flannels are usually red but I want to be different and wear a monochrome on as I love black and white together!

These faux leather leggings wouldn't be something I would wear but I love the look of them so I thought I was allowed to put these in my wishlist as the last thing. I would wear these with the River Island shirt and black heels, a bit like what the model is wearing in the outfit above.

I hope you enjoyed this wishlist as I enjoyed going through Asos choosing what to put in here so I'll probably do more. Acutaually I know I will be doing more as I have another one coming soon.
Thanks for reading,
Louise
