Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe

Today I'm going to be sharing with you my favourite cupcake recipe. I don't bake much but if I do I'll make cupcakes as they're easy and the end result is hopefully yummy!
I made cupcakes with my sister Georgia in the summer holidays so I thought I would share with you how we made them and how we decorated them.
Lets get started!

What You Need:
- 100g self-raising flour
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100g butter
- Cocoa powder
- Chocolate Chips
- Chocolate frosting
- Chocolate M&Ms
- Mini Marshmallows
- Sprinkles
- Cupcake Cases
(Obviously you can change these ingredients and you don't even need to include the cocoa powder and chips if you want to make a different flavour ones)

Recipe
1. Firstly pre-heat your oven to gas mark 5/375°F/190°C and line your bun tin with cupcake cases.
2. Add your flour, sugar, butter, eggs and any other ingredients (we used cocoa powder and choc chips) to a mixing bowl.
3. Mix all of them ingredients together using a whisk. We didn't have a whisk so we had to use the good old wooden spoon!
4. After mixing, transfer the mixture to the cupcake cases using an ice-cream scoop. Using a ice-cream scoop is better as you get the same amount in each case and it's easier!
5. Cook for 15 minutes or so until a knife comes out clean.
6. Cool for about 15 minutes before decorating as you don't want your decoration to melt!
7. Decorate however you want; the choices are endless! We used chocolate frosting to hold everything on and then we used chocolate M&Ms, mini marshmallows and sprinkles.
8. Hopefully you're hard work payed off and you have amazing cupcakes. Now you deserve to sit and have one whist watching YouTube/Netflix/TV or reading this blog *cough cough*

I hope you enjoyed this recipe post as it's something I've never done before so I hope I've explained it clearly. If you do have any questions (related to this or not) leave them in the comments below and I will answer them.
See you next Sunday
