My 2015 Playlist

As you guys probably know I love listening to music so obviously I will have favourites which I have compiled into one playlist. If you would like to listen to My 2015 Playlist I have made a playlist on YouTube (link here) and on Spotify (to find that search in my username 'louisesprinkles' and it will be there on my profile). Enough rambling, lets get started!

Ever since I listened to Jess Glynne’s debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, back in August I knew this was my favourite song and had to be released. I was so happy when that this was released as a single and the official Children In Need single but sadly radio stations never played it.

I love Little Mix and always get excited for a new album. My favourite song from their lastest album, Get Weird, is this one because the vocals are beautiful and I’m also really excited is that this is their next single so I will be singing it a lot.

This song is so beautiful! I love Sam Smith and this is my favourite song from him. I prefer the solo version of this song; not the one with John Legend, probably because I’m not a huge fan of him.

James Bay has definitely been a bae this year (see what I did there!) because he’s had some good tunes out. I love this song because it suits his voice so well. Who cares that it has the same name as the lead single from Frozen.

I love Hotel Transylvania 2 so the fact that Fifth Harmony did the lead single was great because I love Fifth Harmony. I also love that Lauren had a huge part as I love her voice. I just want to add I don’t have a favourite as they’re all amazing.

This song was kinda controversial but I don’t care, I love it! This has been my favourite Meghan Trainor song and I loved her debut album Title. She has definitely been one of my new favourite artists this year.

As I said James Bay has been a bae this year and this song was the song that got me liking James Bay as otherwise I probably wouldn’t have known who he is and I wouldn’t of heard of Let It Go which would’ve been a shame.

I’m not sure if this song was out this year or last year but I still want to include it because I really like this song as there is so many beautiful lyrics and you could make some beautiful Tumblr/Instagram posts out of them.

I know I keep saying (and will keep saying) but this song is beautiful especially if you have lost someone special this song will be very special to you. The only thing that ruins this song is how much radio stations played this so if you keep hearing it loses that special touch which is really sad.

To be completely honest I didn’t really like this song when I first heard it but as I heard it more and more I thought it was a good song and when I heard an acoustic version I was blown away so now I really like it.

I know this song was released last year but I rediscovered it in November and knew I had to include it in this playlist post because I have loved this since I’ve rediscovered it. Usually I’m not the biggest Ariana Grande fan because I don’t like her songs even though I loved her in Victorious but maybe it’s because this song includes The Weeknd who I love.

A lot of you probably don’t know this song and band because I feel like Lawson isn’t really a big band and this song wasn’t really played that much on music and radio stations. You might have heard of Lawson as they released the songs When She Was Mine and Juliet.

Again I’m not sure when this song was released this year or last (I’m pretty sure it was this year) but I’m going to include it anyway because this year I’ve discovered Ella Eyre and how good her music is, especially this song.

This was my summer jam! (I’ve probably lost some cool points saying that) As soon as I heard this song I knew I loved it and it’s the perfect song to sing in the shower and/or dance around like bedroom like you just don’t care.

Capital, which is the radio station I listen to, only played the remix of this song which I don’t like! I love the normal/album version of this song because it’s beautiful whereas the remix doesn’t really go with the lyrics of the song.

A lot of people have been raving about Years & Years this year but I wasn’t a fan of their debut single King so I wasn’t a fan of them but I heard this song loved it and I also love their new single Eyes Shut.

You probably don’t know this song because I don’t think it was played a lot on radio stations but you might have heard it and didn’t know the name of it and who sang it. I really like John Newman and his songs because he has a great powerful voice.

Before this year I wasn’t a fan of One Direction but I have really liked their songs since Zayn left. Drag Me Down has been a fave this year because it’s catchy and was a great summer sing-along, dance-along tune.

As you know I’m a huge fan of Jess Glynne and I really love this tune because it has a great powerful positive message and it’s an easy song to sing and dance along to and you guys know that’s what I like.

When I first heard this song, which was on a day when we had a later start at school, I wasn’t too sure but as I kept listening to it (that same morning btw) I was liking it more and more and now I love it, like every Little Mix song!

I really hope you enjoyed this post and let me know in the comments below what you're favourite songs were this year as I would love to know.
Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
