Current Beauty Favourites

Today I'm going to be telling you all of all of the beauty things I have been loving because in my monthly favourites I only get to feature 2 beauty favourites so I wanted to do a whole post dedicated to everything beauty related I've been loving and I've also been in a beauty mood wanting to post a lot of beauty posts so here's another!

Studio London Beauty Blender Dupe- I got this in a Studio London brush set just after Christmas and I have been using this ever since and I love it. I find it easier to use this than using a kabuki brush or a foundation brush as it's the easiest way to blend and I like using both ends so I use the flat bottom for blending my foundation out and then I use the smaller, thinner end for my concealer as it's the easiest way to get it into the corner. I don't know if you can pick this up on it's own but I got this set at Christmas from Superdrug so Superdrug is your best place to look.

Studio London Brushes- Honestly I should've probably included this with the Beauty Blender dupe but I can't be bothered so I'm separating them. These brushes are definately a favourite because they apply my makeup really well and I believe you apply your makeup better depending on what brushes you use. I know people tell you to invest in good brushes but these ones are really good and I got a set of them for £4.99 which is a bargain. They are really soft and are a dream to apply makeup with.

Miss Sporty Insta Glow Foundation- This has very quickly become a staple in my everyday makeup routine , which I can do a post on if you want, because I really like it. It gives me a really nice, healthy glow and even though my skin is good at the moment sometimes I want to wear foundation and this foundation is not heavy at all and when I'm wearing this I forgot I'm wearing foundation which I think is a good thing. The packaging claims this product gives you Photoshop like skin and I can say it doesn't which is a shame but honestly I guessed it wouldn't.

MUA Professional Undressed Eyeshadow Palette- I got this not too long ago as a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette and I can say this eyeshadow palette is really good for a £4 product and has definitely made me want to try more from MUA as it is really cheap. The pigmentation is unreal as all you need is one swipe then all of the colour is there and they also don't crease which I was expecting but did not get so that's a good thing. I really like all of the shades and you can create a lot of good day and night looks with this one palette

Collection Mascaras- I don't know if you know but mascaras are my favourite makeup product along with lipsticks and the mascaras I have been wearing a lot from Collection, which I am going to do a review on some time soon. The ones in the picture is the Collection Lengthening Waterproof Mascara (the green one), Collection Super Size Mascara and Collection Volumising Waterproof Mascara (the coral one). I do have a selection of all which claim to do different things so I switch them up depending on my mood if I want volume, length or both!
Collection Lasting Colour Lipsticks- As I just said I love lipsticks and these have been the ones I've been picking up recently because I love the colours I have and the formulas so they're the perfect lipsticks and I really need to get some new shades. The shades I currently have is Paper Rose, which is a gorgeous coral matte shade which is different for me but I love it, and Cupcake Pink, which is more of a normal lipstick which is Barbie Pink.

Technic Powder- Being compelety honest, powder is not a makeup product I get excited about and I only have 1 because I don't care about it but I do like this one from Technic because it sets my foundation and concealer while being translucent as most of the time I don't want extra shimmer so I just use it to set as otherwise I would use bronzer. I don't know where you can get this as I did get it in a massive Technic gift set and I don't know of anywhere where you can buy Technic which is a shame as it's a good brand.

eos Lip Balms- I have talked about these a lot on The Lipstick Insider but I'm still loving them so I needed to included them in this blog post. I have 5 which is Sweet Mint, Strawberry Sorbet, Blueberry Acai, Summer Fruits and Forest Fruits and I really like them all because they smell really nice and when you apply it on sometimes you want to lick it up as they smell so nice. I would recommend buying them on Amazon as I got my pack on there and they are a lot on cheap as they are quite expensive for a lip balm.

Cath Kidston Hand Cream in Rose & Peony- Another thing which was in What I Got For My Birthday and Christmas were some Cath Kidston hand creams and I'm still loving them. The one I'm currently using is Rose & Peony and I love it. I love the scent and I wasn't sure I was going to because I typically don't really like rose scents but I think it's because it's with Peony it smells nicer but I don't actually know what peonies actually smell like even though they're my favourite flower.

Barry M Nail Paints- I have been painting my toenails a lot recently and I have been reaching for my Barry M nail paints because they're spring shades and I like how long they last. The shades in the pictures is Rose Hip (pink), Greenberry (green and the one I'm currently wearing) and Fondant (Lilac) but I have a long wishlist of shades as I really want to get a lot more as I have been chucking out a lot of my nail varnishes because they're getting old and I don't wear them as I've been wearing a lot of pastels or white.

Skin Therapy Tea Tree Skincare Range- I recently picked this collection up in Wilko not too long ago and I am so surprised how good everything is as everything was 95p (however the face wipes were only 50p). This range goes really well with my skin type and does not burn or break me out as before I used a different face wash from Skin Therapy and it burned my skin so I stopped using it. The only place you can get this is Wilko so go and check out their skincare as it's really good and cheap.

Victoria Secret Body Mists- From really cheap to quite expensive! I picked both of these up in February and I have loved them ever since as they smell really nice and last for quite a while. The 2 I have is Charmed which is very Spring like and smells of Juicy Cassis and creamy musk and I love musky scents and the other one is Hypnotized which is really nice and smells more like berries as the notes are crushed goji berries and crimson freesia

The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel- This is the shower gel I've been using recently and it smells really good. I featured this in my What I Got For My Birthday and Christmas and I'm currently working through The Body Shop gift set which I got and this is my favourite as I don't like the mango and orange scents and the morgina one was nice but not as good as this one. I'm definately going to buy the full size when I'm done and maybe some other things from the strawberry collection.

Tesco My Senses Bath Creme Shea Butter & Almond Blossom- I love baths and whenever I take one, which is a lot, I use this for my bubbles and I love it. A small amount goes a long way and I've had this since about September time and I've used this in most baths since. The scent is amazing and the perfect thing to use on a pamper evening as I can relax in the bath with this and a nice smelling bath bomb from Lush as I use bath bomb and bubbles which I don't know if that's what most people do but I do.

P.S. Love Your Skin Face Wipes- I know face wipes isn't the best way to take off your makeup but I still do it anyway and my favourite are the Primark ones but I do also like the ones from Wilko. I haven't yet tried the Simple ones which I know they will be better for my skin but knowing me I don't always go for the best options but these work for me and I'm only 14 so I don't really need to start thinking about anti aging.

Copper Hairbrush from Primark- This is just some basic hairbrush but I wanted to include it as it's so pretty and I've never included it on the blog which is weird especially now I include everything I buy on the blog. It's just your everyday paddle brush and I don't know what to say about it but it was really cheap from Primark!

Tangle Teezer- Another haircare thing is my Tangle Teezer. I have this for over a year now however I didn't use it for a long time but now I've rediscovered it and I love it. I used to use this everyday to brush but my hair started to break and I read you shouldn't do that so I stopped using it all together and just used a hairbrush but now my hair is in good conditioner I've been using it but only to get rid of knots so I use this then my copper hairbrush.

Batisite Dry Shampoo- The last haircare product is from Batiste and it's their dry shampoo which I have been loving as it is great for when I can't be bothered to wash my hair. I like using Batiste because it smells nice and makes my hair look better as sometimes my hair hates me and does not do what I want it to do and that makes me sad :(

So that was my current beauty favourites and I hope you enjoyed it and I'm going to do a current lifestyle and fashion favourites soon. If you want more from me follow me on Twitter and Instagram @_louisecarter_
