How To Style An Outfit In Autumn

I love autumn and the fashion it produces so I wanted to do a guide on how to style an outfit in autumn because it can be hard to find a cute outfit especially if you're wearing a massive coat but there's still ways you can be ultra stylish.

Last year I started wearing leather jackets over my jumpers for added warmth and it looked super cute at the same time. It's also a good reason to show off any cute jumpers you might have so people can see them and they're not stuck behind a coat. I wouldn't wear my leather jacket how it's in the picture as I would properly wear it.

No one wants to have cold feet but sometimes it's not appropriate (and comfortable) to wear cosy socks so that's why wear them with boots and have them sticking up onto your leggings and tights and it looks so cute and really Tumblr.

Hat's can really make an outfit and shops now have some really cute winter hats that will give you that super cute look and also like the girls on Tumblr (as you can tell I do get a lot of my autumn fashion inspiration from Tumblr)

In the autumn I never like to use colourful bags and I like to use black ones because they go with all of the colours that I'm wearing and in the summer I'll be wearing and using colourful bags so it's nice to go back to plain. I also like to have a shoulder strap on my bag in autumn as I find it easier to use that way.

This would be an ideal outfit for me in the autumn as I love wearing skater skirts with tights, boots and jumpers. If I was wearing this I would also add a leather jacket because it would look really nice and I love my leather jacket and I will wear it any occasion I can.

Lastly I would recommend you invest in a good coat that will last you for a couple of years. Last year I got a parka from Next, which was £80, so I'm sure that will last me for quite a while and it's super warm and cosy.

That was how I would personally style an outfit in the autumn months but everyone does have their own fashion tastes so it's whatever floats your boat. Thanks for reading and do come back as I'll have more autumn posts.
