Random Essentials Wilko Haul Part 2

Today I have part 2 of the Wilko Haul which I posted the other day (before the Paperchase Haul) and in this haul I have a bunch of random stuff but I wanted to show you because I find it interesting and if I find it interesting there must be one other person somewhere that might find it interesting.

So in this haul there isn't much stationery because I need to limit my stationery buying so I got some Dovecraft Peel-Off Stickers in Gold and I've had these before but I ran out of the o's so I wanted to get another pack as these come in handy. I then repurchased some Wilko 12 Neon Stars and these are handy for captions and I used these in my planner on the dividers. Also I got some washi tape and this is Wilko Glitter Tape 3 Pack because I've been using metallic tapes recently so I wanted to get some thin ones. This isn't stationery but I did buy some Big & Chunky Maryland Cookies because they were only £1 and I really like them.

I ended up buying a lot of disposable dinner stuff so I got some Wilko 6 Pack Food Containers, Wilko Large Paper Plates 30 Pack, Wilko Functional Disposable Cutlery and Wilko 200 Neon Straws and it's not like I'm having a party of anything it's just that I can never be bothered to wash up so I got disposable and I know it's bad for the environment but I won't use them much.

I did buy a pack of Haribo Sour Suckers to have on the bus but I didn't eat them and I still haven't but I will. Then moving onto beauty I got a shower gel and this one is the Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Shower Gel and I didn't know Simple done this and this will be nice to use I think. Then I got some more deodorant and this is the Soft & Gentle Wild Rose & Vanilla Antiperspirant Deodorant and also I got a mini Impulse Mini True Love Body Fragrance because it's good to have in my bag.

I needed to get some more tissues as I had run out so I got Wilko Soft White Tissues- 70 Pack and the box is quite cute too. I also ran out of nail polish remover and they didn't have the one I normally get so I got Essence Quick & Easy Sponge Nail Polish Remover and I've used it and it's pretty good. I also bought some Wilko Pre-Glued False Nails as I hate gluing them on and lastly I got Wilko 200 Cotton Buds as I always use these to take off small bits of makeup and I use them when painting my nails.

Prices-
Neon Stars- 80p
Tissues- 40p
Alphabet Stickers- 50p
Maryland Cookies- £1
False Nails- £1.50
Food Containers- £1
Deodorant- 95p

That was the Wilko Haul finished! I feel like I've done a lot of hauls recently so I probably won't do some for a while and I have some (what I think are) good blog posts planned so get excited.

Random Essentials Wilko Haul

Today I have a Wilko Haul but this one is a little different because it's all random essentials (obviously there is some stationery but most of it is stuff I needed) and I thought this would be an interesting post because I like posts like this and maybe you do too. There will be a part 2 coming up in a couple of days because I didn't want this post to be too long.

Let's start with food as that's very important and I love food so I got some packs of chocolate and also some Nestle Polo Original 5 Pack because these will be handy to have in my bag and on my desk. Chocolate-wise I got some Cadbury Twirl 5 Pack and Terry's Chocolate Orange Chocolate Bars 3 Pack and they are my favourite chocolate because I love chocolate orange so much.

My second love is stationery and in Wilko I had to get a Pritt Stick 43g because my old glue stick was rubbish so I picked up a better one. Also in the stationery section I got a bunch of stickers- 2 packs for my planner and these are Wilko 495 Self-Adhesive Foil Stars and Wilko 560 Sticky Dots and then for my journal I got a children sticker book (lol) and it's a Wilko Princess Sticker and Scene Book- 500 Stickers and I got this because you get so many stickers for the price.

Next up I got a bunch of sponges and I got 2 Wilko Bath Sponges one in Blue and the other in white and I also picked up a Wilko Pink Massage Sponge because I've never used one before and it's good for exfoliating. Then I got a Charlie Pink Body Fragrance because these are good to have and I like having a small collection and because I don't have enough lip balms already (seriously I have so many) I got a Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy and I think I'm going to keep this in my bag.

Now onto the most random stuff I got some Wilko Baby Soft & Gentle 64 Baby Wipes Fragrance Free because sometimes I need a wipe and the only wipes I have are face wipes so I thought it would be good to have a pack. Then I got a new Colgate Extra Clean Toothbrush because dental hygiene is important and I also got some Always Maxi 12 Long Pads as you can never have enough. I also got some Carex Love Hearts Handwash because I guessed it would smell nice and it really does and lastly I got a Glade Be Romantic Room Spray for my room as obviously I want my room smelling good.

Prices-
Handwash- 90p (was £1.80)
Sticker Book- £1.50
Pads- £1.45
Room Spray- £1
Bath Sponges- 20p each
Body Fragrance- 80p (was £1.60)
Toothbrush- 50p
Twirls- £1
Baby Wipes- 50p
Massage Sponge- 40p
Terry's Chocolate Orange Bars- £1
Star Stickers- 50p
Polos- 95p
Sticky Dots- 50p
Vaseline- 95p (was £1.90)
Pritt Stick- £2.25

That's everything I got for this haul. Part 2 will be coming in a couple of days but before that I do have a Paperchase Haul so I don't bombard you with Wilko Hauls. In the comments below let me know what your favourite chocolate bar is- mine is either Terry's Chocolate Orange Chocolate Bars or Dairy Milk With Oreo.

Why I Hate Tests.

So the other day I was in my science exam, which was very hard, when I thought of this blog post idea. Not the best thing to do when in a test which determines whether you are doing double or triple science for GCSE and set changes however I couldn't remember enzymes and experiments so I started thinking of other things, as you do. So I've come up with a list (I love a good list) why I hate and what I've learnt from tests/exams whether they're like formal ones in the hall or the ones in the classroom.

1. It's awkward if you need to cough/sneeze
So I'm ill at the moment as I'm loosing my voice and my throat really hurts so I have been coughing a lot; that is not the best if you are in a test and you need to have a coughing fit every 10 seconds. I'm sorry to anyone who was in the canteen with me then but I couldn't help it. As I coughed so much I was trying to keep my cough in (which was very hard) and that ended up failing as I thought I was going to die.

2. Teachers end up using tests as excuse for marking
This is about tests in the classroom and I've noticed that whenever I do a test in class the teacher is usually marking which is ok as what else are they going to do but I think (and this is just a theory) they give us a test when they have a lot of marking to catch up on they give us a test because they don't have to teach for an hour and they could mark a lot of books during that hour.

3. Teachers don't care students educations
This is only about 5% of teachers but something that is a MASSIVE pet peeve of mine is not teaching us stuff on the test. Teachers always come up with the line 'we didn't get to see the test' and that is their excuse for 'I know what is on the test but I won't tell these devil children what is on the test so I don't have to teach'. In my science test there was a lot of things which I hadn't learnt and obviously that's not my fault if I don't get it because us students are only going to revise what we got told because my biology teacher told us what to revise and
2 of them things from about a list of 8 were on the test. Thanks a bunch!

4. Revision posters
I hate revision posters. In science this week we had to make 4 (one everyday before the test) and that was the biggest waste of time when my class could've been learning something which was on the test. For me revision posters don't really help with my revision as there is too much information on a page and all I do is end up trying to make them look nice instead of revising and taking in the information. My science notes looked like a rainbow (seriously they were so pretty) but did not help me.

5. The time after you finished the test
I am a quick test taker just something which has always happened since primary school but I always find it really awkward once you've finished a test and you're waiting to leave the hall or when you can talk to your friends to discuss the test. I usually have to wait about 10-15 minutes and that feels like a hour. I never know what to do because you can't look around as that's cheating (even though there's never anything interesting on behind) but you don't want to stare at the clock as otherwise the time will go even slower. What I seem to do is daydream and play with my nails

Sorry for the really rambling post but it's a Saturday evening stuck at home watching YouTube so I needed something to do to pass the time. If you would like more of my rants (seriously I rant ALL THE TIME) follow me on Twitter (_louisecarter_) as I rant there a lot but don't make my Instagram (same handle) feel left out so follow me there to!
