Come Along With Me | Oxford Street Shopping

On my blog you always get hauls but you never know anything about the actual shopping trip so I thought I would take you along with me to Oxford Street, which is one of the best places in London to go shopping, and come shopping with me. If you like this blog post let me know because I can do it again.

Obviously to start off with I had to get there and to do that I got the tube and went to Oxford Circus Underground Station and then from there I headed to Oxford Street. It's obviously busy all the time because it is the heart of London but this day was particularly bad because there was protests in London about Donald Trump (I went on the day after he officially became president)

The first shop I went to was Topshop and I went there to buy a purse but there ended up being none I liked so I ended up buying something else which you will see at the bottom of the post. At the moment I'm really liking Topshop and especially Ivy Park. You can also see the outfit I was wearing that day:
Leather Jacket- Primark
Khaki Green Jumper- H&M
Jeggings- Primark

After doing some more wondering around the shops I was very cold and thirsty so I went into the Costa down Great Portland Street and got a large hot chocolate. It was also in a Christmas cup which I found annoying as it was just under a month since Christmas but I do totally understand they were trying to get rid of them.
I also love this nail varnish that I'm wearing and it's from Barry M. It is the Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint in Supersonic and it's such a gorgeous blue metallic shade.

I then did a lot more looking around the shops like in the flagship Primark branch, Zara, Urban Outfitters and loads more but I didn't buy anything in any of them because there wasn't anything I truly liked. However in Lush I did walk away with three bubble bars and that was actually all I bought along with one thing in Topshop.

And after a long day in London I headed back home on the tube with my new purchases which I love and after having a great day doing something which is my passion, shopping.

So these were my purchases of the day. In Topshop I bought the black version of my current backpack which is a nude colour and because I love that bag I bought it in black as well. In Lush I got three bubble bars- Supertramp (a Lush Oxford Street exclusive), Big Band and Creamy Candy. They all smell very different from each other but I'm excited to try them.

These are my two Snapchats from the day that I posted while I was out. The first is my Topshop bag and the second is my panini from Costa which I got later that day and it was very nice. I hope you enjoyed this post and sorry some of the pictures are portrait I forgot that I had to do them landscape until I got home but I still wanted to this post, regardless of the pictures.

Tiger + Primark Haul

Recently when I was down Oxford Street I made some purchases in Tiger and Primark so I thought I would share what I got as I do really like everything that I got, even if they are a bit random.

Greeting Cards- Firstly I got some greeting cards and I got two because they were 2 for £1. My local Tiger is rubbish and they don't have any cards so I thought I would get some and these are my favourite designs they had. I don't know what I'm going to use them for but I will find a use.
These were 2 for £1 from Tiger.

Flamingo Treat Bags- I always need a snack bag, especially for food in school and I can bring in some treats in here. They're also really cute; even though they are quite summer-y but that doesn't matter because they all do the same thing whatever the design is.
These were £2 from Tiger.

Regular White Earphones- I needed some new earphones because the ones I had were broken so when I was in Tiger and saw these I decided to pick them up. When I got these home I found these don't actually work so obviously I am really annoyed and now I have no earphones.
These were £3 from Tiger

3x Design Paper Tapes- I love Tiger's washi/paper tapes and my local Tiger doesn't stock them so I picked these up. The pack includes a pink one that has a really small white design, a mint green plain one and a blue and yellow triangle design one and they're really good quailty.
These were £2 from Tiger

Dori Notebook- Sometimes I watch a lot of the crafty YouTubers if I'm feeling creative and they all have these notebooks where you can put different inserts in and I never knew where you could get them from. These come with a lined insert and a squared paper insert. I don't know what to use this for yet but I know I will use it sometime.
This was £2 from Tiger

3 Pack Canvas'- I love pink and gold and when I saw these I knew they would look super cute in my room. I have two of them on my windowsill (the ones on the ends) and the one in the middle is on my bedside table. The only problem was taking these home on the tube but that didn't stop me buying them.
These were £4 from Primark

Black and White Floral Pyjama Set- I haven't bought any new pyjamas for a while and autumn signals pyjama season for me so I thought I would get some new ones. The Primark on Oxford Street was so busy so it was hard to find nice ones but I want to go back to a quieter Primark and buy some more.
This was £6 from Primark

Atmosphere Workout Shoe Liners- I just picked up a new pack of socks because socks are obviously an essential to have and I don't really like normal socks so I bought some trainer socks to wear when I'm wearing shoes that need socks.
These were £2.50 from Primark

Copper and Metals Purse- I loved my old Primark purse that I have had for over a year and is still fine (I only had my New Look purse for a couple of months then it broke) but I was getting bored of the design so I got this lovely copper one and it's in the exact same style as my last one which is what I wanted.
This was £6 from Primark

That is everything that I got from Tiger and Primark. My next post will be a massive Primark Haul and I'm so excited to write it; I know there's been a lot of hauls recently but I do have a lot of other posts planned!

Primark Haul

I know I recently made a Primark Haul but I have another today because they have so many nice things in there right now and I couldn't resist not buying some stuff in there. This haul is a lot more random than the last one as this one features stationery (obviously as a stationery addict), food and false nails.

White Wood Heart Organiser- This was the thing that started my haul as it was the first thing I picked up. I always buy organizers not knowing what to put in there but in this one I keep it on my chest of drawers and I keep all the random stuff which I kept on there like body sprays, sunglasses, food and makeup.
This was £6

Disney Mickey Mouse A5 Notebook- Primark have a small stationery section and I needed a new A5 notebook (I actually did as the one I was using didn't have many pages and I didn't have one with all blank pages) so I picked up this quite thick one as it did have quite a nice print on the front even if it is a bit childish but most of them there were.
This was £2.50

P.S. Love Fake Nails- To be honest the only reason I bought these was because they were on special offer but I do actually really like the print and they were the only print on offer which I liked. I'm saving these for summer because I know the coral and blue will look really nice.
These were on offer from £2 to £1

Oopia 50 Pack of Black Hairbands- Hairbands are always needed and I always forget them so I got quite a big pack to put them in loads of places such as my wrist, school bag, bathroom, makeup bag etc. as my annoying hair has a mind of it's own and never co-operates with me so I need a hairband.
This pack of 50 was £1

Black & Pink Aztec Flip Flops- Last summer my flip flops broke, which were also from Primark, so I wanted to get some new ones. There was so many different designs but I went for an aztec print as I really like aztec prints and pink is my favourite colour. They were also super cheap which is amazing.
These were 90p

Urban Fruit 'Smashing' Strawberry Pieces- Usually I'm not someone who picks up the random stuff at the tills but I saw these and wanted to get them as strawberries are my favourite fruit and wanted to see what these were like and OMG these are amazing and I definately will be getting these again.
These were £1.70

P.S. Love Nail Polish in Twilight- Black was a colour which I didn't have any nail polish in so I thought I would get this as it was only 80p to try it out. I had tried a nail polish before from Primark and didn't really like it but this one was better however it did chip only after a couple of days.

Cat Eye Sunglasses- In my last Primark Haul I bought some sunglasses but I've now bought another pair. I've really liked cat eye sunglasses for a while so I thought I would get a cheap pair to see if I like the style and if they suit me. I also like how they come with a case even if it is ugly.

I should probably remove myself from Primark for the time being so I don't buy even more random s**t. I probably will do a Primark clothing haul soon as I do need to get some new clothes.

Primark Haul

I love Primark so I thought I would show you some of my love for it with some things I recently picked up from there. These purchases are mainly homeware as the homeware was really nice but there's also a couple of other random purchases like sunglasses as the summer is approaching us.

Primark Home White Heart Cushion- I have a bit of a cushion buying obsession so when I saw this really pretty heart cushion I had to have it as I knew it would look nice on my pink and white themed bed and would also look really nice with the throw that I'm about to talk about.
This was £3

Primark Home Super Soft Cream Throw- Getting a throw was something I was thinking about for ages so when I felt this one I had to have it as I had recently re-done my room and thought it would make my bedroom look more classy but cute at the same time. I also like to use this as a background for Instagram photos as I love a white background.
This was £4.50

P.S. Love Waterproof Mascara in Black- I've tried one P.S. Love mascara in the past and it's really good so I thought I would pick up a waterproof mascara as during the day I only wear waterproof mascara (because when I get headaches my eyes water) so I wanted to see if it was any good like the other one.
This was £2

Yellow Mirror Sunglasses- At the end of the summer last year my sunglasses broke so I needed to get some new ones and I had wanted some aviators for ages so I picked these ones up. They're also mirrored but not that much as I don't like the majorly mirrored ones only the ones with a yellow tint like these.
This was £2

Unicorn Trinket- I really like watching room tours on YouTube and when I saw this unicorn dish thing I had to have it as I had been looking for one for ages and it's a unicorn! (and as you can tell I love unicorns). I just keep random bits and bobs on here as at the moment I have sunglasses, body sprays and a mascara.
This was £4

Glittery Unicorn Sign- Primark have loads of different signs in at the moment and I saw this one and it was the only one I really liked as I wanted a small one for the knobs on my wardrobe and this one was a great size. It also says 'dream big' on here and that's super cute and the unicorn is glittery as well.
This was £1.50

My Best Friend Is A Unicorn Wide Shopper- Lastly, I was getting a bit bored of my current PE bag as I had it for a while and I wasn't too keen on the print so I got a new one with a unicorn on because it was cute and the slogan on it will really annoy someone I know as he hates unicorns A LOT.
This was £1.50

As you can see Primark have some really nice things in at the moment for really good prices. I think all of this came to £18.50 or £18 and that's really good. I'm definately going back to Primark soon. If you want more follow me on Twitter (_louisecarter_) or Instagram (thelipstickinsider).

Collective Haul

I love shopping. So that means I have purchases from going shopping so I'm going to share them with you. These purchases are from late December to January but for more recent ones my next blog post will be another Collective Haul as I do way too much shopping.

Batiste Instant Hair Refresh Dry Shampoo in Floral & Fruity Blush 50ml- I needed some more haircare products for my essentials bag so I picked up a dry shampoo because sometimes I can't be bothered to wash my hair as that's a lot of effort. This one smells really nice and the design is really cute.
This was £1.50 from Superdrug

Carex Fun Edition Strawberry Laces Wipes 15 Pack- Another thing I bought for my essential bag are these wipes because they smell so good that I want to eat them. I've bought these before and I actually included them in my Buy, Try, Decide Superdrug (link HERE) so I bought these for when I run out.
These were £1.05 from Superdrug

Simple Kind To Skin Cleaning Facial Wipes 7 Pack- I've heard a lot of things about Simple skincare but I haven't actually tried any so to try some out I thought I would get some wipes so see if they agree with my skin. I've put these in my essentials bag as I don't have any makeup removing wipes in there.
These were £1.49 from Superdrug

The Experimenter bath bomb- This bath bomb was a repurchase because I've tried this one before and it is my favourite bath bomb because I prefer the ones that make the bath colourful not just a couple of colours. I also really like the scent of it but I can't put my finger on what it smells like.
This was £3.95 from Lush

Intergalactic bath bomb- Sorry for the stock photo but I hadn't had this bath bomb before so I was excited to try it before taking a picture. I picked this one up because I guessed it made a lot of colours in the bath and it did so I think this is a new favourite as I do also like the smell.
This was £3.95 from Lush

Papermate InkJoy Retractable Ball Point Pen Pack- I bought these in a massive pack of 25 but silly me forgot to take a picture before I opened it but there's 8 different colours which are pink, light green, purple, blue, dark green, red, orange and black. I use these pens in my planner because I use a lot of colours and these pens make my handwriting look nice.
These were £8.99 on sale from £17.99 at WHSmith

Glam Tape 3 Pack- I wanted to get some new washi tape to decorate notebooks and my planner and when I found this pack in Sainsbury's I had to have it because it's very me as I love gold and sparkles and I could know I could use it a lot and I have and I have nearly finished the gold and pink sparkly rolls.
This was £3 from Sainsbury's

100% Thirsty Milk Bottle Style Cup- I wanted a new water bottle because I was getting a bit bored of my velvetgh0st one so I got this really Tumblr looking one because I thought it would look cute on my desk. I really like the gold detail because it really goes with the black and white.
This was £3 from Primark.

Copper Wired Bin- When I saw this in Tiger I knew I had to have it because it is so pretty and would also be really useful. I've been using this as a bin in my room and I put a carrier bag in it so it's not that pretty but when it's empty it is. I don't think you can get this anymore as I've only seen this when I bought it and that was in December
This was £8 from Tiger

Clapperboard With 2 Pieces Of Chalk- When I bought this and the bin from Tiger I was with my friend Nicha and she really wanted me to get one as she was getting one so I thought I would get it as a cute piece of room décor. I've only use this once but only because I'm not a film-maker, I'm a actress!
This was £2 from Tiger

Be Happy, Be Bright, Be You Pillow- My bed was really plain and only had my sleeping pillow on (as well as the duvet and stuff) so I thought I would get this inspirational quote pillow because I liked the quote and I also like the shape of the pillow and also how the writing is in gold! Bamn!
This was £4 from Primark

Wilko 500 Index Stickers in Assorted Colours- I've had these for ages now but I haven't actually used them yet so they're still in the packaging! I bought these to replace the page flags in my blogging notebook as I thought there wasn't many left but it turns out that I still have a lot left.
These were 50p from Wilko

Wilko Vintage Floral Book Of Sticky Notes And Lists- To be completely honest I don't know why I picked this up but I'm glad I did as I use the sticky notes a lot in my planner. There's 6 different designs so there's an A5 Sticky Pad, Long Checklist, 3x Design Page Flags and a note page.
This was £2 from Wilko

Think Pink bath bomb- I've heard a lot of people talk about this bath bomb as use it in videos so I thought I should try it out and it is one of the cheapest. I haven't tried this out myself yet as I still have a lot of Christmas bath bombs but it's a sweet, fruity scent and apparently it turns the bath water pink (you kinda do guess that).
This was £2.65 from Lush

Milky Bath Bubble Bar- I saw this in Lush and I had to pick it up because it seemed really interesting and I really like bubble bars. I have actually used this and it made a lot of bubbles which is obviously a good thing. I definately would repurchase because I like the bubbles and the smell.
This was £3.75 from Lush

White Trainers- These were on sale in Primark and they really caught my eye as they were  white and I didn't have any white trainers and they're really on trend at the moment. They look really nice BUT these are a killer and make my feet hurt so much after wearing these but luckily I didn't waste that much money on them
These were £5 on sale from £12 from Primark

P.S. Love Your Skin Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes- I know taking your makeup off with face wipes is really bad (as I read in Sprinkle Of Glitter's book only use wipes for 'festivals, fannies and flights') but I do so I picked up another pack of the Primark ones as you get 2 packs for £1. I got the ones for normal & combination skin.
These were £1 for a twin pack from Primark

Username Evie by Joe Sugg- I been a fan of ThatcherJoe for a while now but I've only picked up his book now because graphic novels are not my thing but as it was under £5 in Sainsbury's I thought I would pick it up. I've had this for a while now but I still haven't read it because I never read- only in school.
This was £4.99 from Sainsbury's

WHSmith Sticky Note Set For Binders- You guys might know that I'm a sticky note hoarder so I picked up a massive set not for my binder but just for use anywhere and I keep this with my notebooks. These sticky notes are really good quality and I love how bright they are.
This was £3.99 from WHSmith

WHSmith 100 A4 File Pockets- As a stationery lover I always feel the need to have file pockets so I bought a massive pack. I didn't need a pack as big as this but I do use this for my homework or keeping all of my revision together so these are handy and as I have a new binder these are helpful.
This was £3.99 from WHSmith

Light Pink Fluffy Bag Charm- Everyone has a bag charm now and I had to join in the trend as I really like it. I switch this one up between all my bags so whatever bag I'm using this will be on it and for school as I'm using a backpack with no where to put it I put it on my keys and it's really easy to find them.
This was £3.99 from H&M

Socks- I decided to take up the 3 pairs for £4 offer on socks at New Look because I swear all my socks go missing, I picked some really different socks this time and I don't really know why. I got a unicorn pair because why not, a popcorn pair even though I don't like popcorn and pugs as pugs are my favourite breed of dogs.
These socks were £1.99 each but in New Look you can get 3 pairs for £4

Coral Sactual- I bought this on the same shopping trip as the fluffy bag charm and after buying that I felt a massive need to buy a new handbag for the bag charm and I saw this bag in Primark and really liked it so I got it. I don't have anything coral but it looks really nice with a lot of outfits and it's perfect for spring.
This was £9 from Primark

If you liked this post there will be another one coming soon as I have done a lot of shopping recently which is so bad and I need to stop but I have nothing better to do on a Saturday so I blame bordom for these purchases.

Primark Haul

You might know how obsessed I am with Primark but I haven't actually done a Primark Haul on here before which is really shocking; I've done hauls with Primark goodies in but not a haul dedicated to Primark. I bought some really nice clothes this time; I go through stages not liking a lot of the clothes in there but I'm glad I found nice pieces. apples*

Grey Casual Slouch Tee with Faux PU and Zip Detailing- When I saw this top I knew I had to have it as I'm loving grey at the moment (I know it's nearly spring but I like neutrals) and it goes perfectly with my style. I love slouchy things as they're really casual and I'm really casual so basically we're soulmates me and slouchy t-shirts.
This was £6

Blue and White Striped Long Sleeve Top 'The Slouch Tee'- I definately prefer stripes over dots but I don't have many stripy tops so I picked up a long sleeve one which is navy and white. It's really long which I weren't expecting but actually I quite like it as I can wear it with leggings and it covers my butt.
This was £4

Butterfly Short Sleeve T-Shirt- I picked this up as a casual top so one I can wear when I'm staying in or to change into after school. There's not anything special with this t-shirt but it's good to have as a casual option as we're not always glam or can be bothered to wear nice clothes at home.
This was £3

2x Black Cotton Long Leggings- Leggings is my uniform; I live in them, especially Primark ones so I picked up 2 new pairs as they're essential and are £3 each which I think is a bargain. I wear these to go out in, I wear these staying home and I also wear them for PE when it's cold.
These were £3 each.

Wine Colour Collage Style Hoodie- I'm so happy I picked this up as after buying it I have lived in it. I love the collage style as it's really relaxed and the wine colour is also gorgeous and not a colour I would normally wear. I usually wear this with black leggings (the ones above) and my massive parka when I go out.
This was £10

Silver Metal Bits Necklace- I don't really wear a lot of jewellery as it can get on my nerves but I picked up a silver necklace that has a bit of detail but not too much. I like silver even though I don't wear it that much as I think it's more casual than gold however I always wear gold so I don't get how that works in my eyes.
This was £2

Gold Metal Bits Necklace- This necklace is exactly the same as the silver one and I didn't realize that until I got home but actually I don't mind as I really like the necklace design and it's good to have choice if I want to wear a silver or gold necklace. As I don't wear jewellery a lot I like to buy it in Primark as if it breaks I don't care.
This was £2

Multipack 4 Pack Tissues with 10 Tissues Each- When I need a tissue I don't have a tissue so I bought a multipack so I can put them in my bag, take them to school and have them on my bedside table. It's only 50p for 4 packs with 10 tissues in each pack which I think is a bargain.
This was 50p

I Love... Minty Choco Chip Bath & Shower Gel- Everyone needs shower gel and when I saw this miniature I knew I had to smell so it and OMG it smelt amazing and just like mint choc chips, which is obviously a good thing. I need to hunt down a bigger bottle as the smell is so addictive.
This was 50p

Memory Foam Ugg Boot Style Slippers- Lastly we have some slippers as I'm a granny. No I'm always cold and socks can be annoying so I bought these slippers as they were on sale and I love the Ugg style of them and I only like slipper boots so these are perfect. They also have memory foam which is great!
These were £2 on sale from £5

Thank you so much for reading. I really enjoyed making this and if I enjoy making a blog post I love to do it again. I love my purchases so much and I have been wearing them a lot. I might be starting to do 2 posts a week as I have loads of ideas but I'm sure if that will happen. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram @_LouiseCarter_ if you want to but you don't have to!
