Top 5 Current Favourites

I really enjoy doing favourite posts and today I felt like I wanted to do one today with 5 completely random favourites that are very random but I felt like sharing with you and stuff that won't be included in my monthly favourites as I always so many favourites that I can't fit into one post.

The Sims 4- Recently I have been obsessed with The Sims and its what I do whenever I'm bored. My favourite thing to do one there is decorating houses but I also like having babies and creating new sims as I like choosing all of their outfits. I have The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe Edition and the Get To Work expansion pack.

McDonalds- Even though now I'm really cutting down on my meat intake but in the last couple of weeks I really have been liking the Mayo Chicken Burger from McDonalds. It's only 99p but as the other burgers are too filling for me this one is great and it means I can have either with or without chips.

Tiger- Tiger has been my favourite shop recently because there stuff has been so cute and it's also cheap and if you know me you know I'm kinda a cheap person. I haven't really done much fashion or makeup shopping recently but I'm kinda missing it so I need to go to Primark and Superdrug.

Journalling- One of my favourite activities to do that doesn't involve wifi is journalling. I'm not much of a creative person but this does let me creative by choosing what washi tape to use. Can I add here about how obsessed with washi tape I have become recently and I pretty much use it on every page of my journal.

Kindle Fire - So I've had my Kindle for about a year now and I'm using it much more than I did when I first got it. I watch all my YouTube on it, I take my blog photos on it and I watch loads of TV shows on it. I also got a new laptop recently and I'm also loving that because it's so much better than my old one.

That's everything I've been loving recently. I know they are random but that's what I wanted this post to be; a spur of the moment post with no planning at all just thinking of the favourites as I write them.

Top 5 TV Shows I'm Loving At The Moment

Usually I'm more of a YouTube fan than a TV fan but recently I've found a couple of TV shows that I really like and wanted to do a Top 5 of the shows I'm loving and they all couldn't fit into a favourites post so I wanted to dedicate a whole post to them. I don't have Netflix so they're all shows on actual TV.

In The Club- Probably a bit of a weird one for a 14 year old but I really like In The Club. It's on BBC and it follows 6-8 women during pregnancy (that was series 1 which I didn't watch) and after and during pregnancy (this current series). The current series is more about the couples and what it's like to have a baby while dealing with other issues such as former relationships, husband in prison and having a baby in a lift!

The Real Housewives Of Cheshire- Moving onto reality TV now I have really been loving The Real Housewives Of Cheshire because I personally prefer reality shows in the UK and I love seeing how the upper class live and I look at their houses and I'm like 'OMG!' It is your basic reality TV show but I like it because it's not as bitchy as some of the others. It airs on ITVbe on a Monday but I always watch it on a Friday or Saturday night because on a Monday I'm tired and want to go to bed.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians- I know I just said I prefer British reality TV series but I love the Kardashians series and I have been watching it quite a bit recently especially with the new series coming out. I'm also envious of their houses as they literally have the same house designs as me so it gives me inspiration for houses even though I'm only 14 and won't be buying a house for a long time.

Eastenders- Now back on our own soil and had to include Eastenders. I go through spells where I don't like it or I'm really into it and that's me now even though I didn't watch it for 4 months but my friend Cerys got me back into after telling me every morning what happened the night before. I feel like all my favourites are leaving so I need some new characters who I actually like.

Friends- Friends is another TV show which I like all of the time and it's another show Cerys got me into because she is obsessed. I've been watching series 10 but I do catch random episodes on Comedy Central and I still have a lot of episodes in my Sky planner to watch so that's me sorted for another month. I think my favourite woman character is Rachel and my favourite man character has to be Joey, I know that's what everyone says but I do really like Jennifer Anniston and Joey is just boss!

That's all of the shows I've been loving recently and if you want to see a Top 5 Favourite YouTubers at the moment I will do that; I also have a lot of Top 5s planned as lots of mini posts which I'm excited to write! Top 5 Jess Glynne Songs

Recently I made a Top 5 Little Mix songs so I thought I should do a Jess Glynne version as I also really like her and she's my favourite female solo artist. So far she only has 1 album out, I Cry When I Laugh, which I do love so it's my favourite songs from there.

Take Me Home- I remember featuring this is My 2015 Playlist and I'm still loving it as it's a beautiful song. It was also the official Children In Need  single which I was so happy about but sadly it wasn't played that much on the radio so I don't think it reached it's full potential sadly.

Saddest Vanilla ft. Emeli Sande- Another beautiful song off I Cry When I Laugh is a song about ice cream and breakups but I still love it and I know it sounds weird with my description but I definately recommend you to listen and it also features Emeli Sande who I hadn't heard anything from in a while.

My Love (acoustic)- This song was released as a single by Route 64 but it wasn't acoustic and as much as I like that song I do prefer the acoustic version as it seems more real and showcases her beautiful vocals which go really well with the song and the stripped back version.

Gave Me Something- Onto the more faster songs firstly we have Gave Me Something which is just a really nice not too fast song but a catchy one which you will want to have a little dance to and start singing which I have learnt from experience so believe me I have knowledge in this song (I have no idea what I was saying then).

Hold My Hand- Lastly we have Hold My Hand which you probably will know as it was really big in early 2015 and a popular song on the radio and one you all will have sung and danced to. This song is really catchy and I really like it and I remember it really well being really popular.

That was my Top 5 Jess Glynne Songs even though I really like them all For more of me follow me on Twitter (@_louisecarter_) and Instagram (@thelipstckinsider) where I post a lot of updates.

Top 5 Little Mix Songs

You might know Little Mix is my favourite band as I do talk about them a lot on this blog so sorry if you don't like them but today I'm going to be rounding up my 5 favourite Little Mix songs. They are in no particular order as I love all of these so much. I'm also going to be doing a Top 5 Jess Glynne Songs if you like these sorts of posts.

Move- Move is from Little Mix's 2nd album Salute and the first single off of it. This is my favourite song from Salute and is the only song from that album on this list but I do really like the album. This is a great dance song and I love it when they perform it live as it sounds so good and Little Mix always put on a good performance.

Secret Love Song Part 2- Earlier this year they released the original version which features Jason Derulo and as much as I love that one, I prefer part 2 because it's more real and from the heart as it's just them and a piano. They performed it live on their Get Weird Tour and OMG it sounded incredible

Change Your Life- Throwback to 2013 when this was released as their first single off their debut album DNA. I really like how this song has an inspirational message and is unlike other pops songs all about sex which is what the music industry has come to. The music video is also really cute with them playing with their own dolls.

Pretend It's Ok- I only discovered this song recently even though it's from their debut album DNA which was released in 2012! Sadly this song wasn't a single but I still love it and it's a favourite from the album. Their voices sound incredible in this especially Jade at the end with the last chorus.

We Are Young (Fun Cover)- This last one was really hard to choose but I went for a cover and their cover of We Are Young by Fun (OMG major throwback to 2012 I totally forgot about that song) because it's amazing and sounds so amazing as the vocals by all of them are amazing.

That's 5 of my favourite Little Mix songs but I do love them all. I also just wanted to do a quick round-up of my 3 favourite songs Little Mix performed on The X Factor back in 2011 as I've been watching them recently and my 3 favourites are
-'You Keep Me Hanging On' cover of The Supremes
-'Baby/Where Did Our Love Go' cover of Justin Bieber and The Supremes
-'If I Were A Boy' cover of Beyonce

Top 5 Current Songs | April 2016

Recently a lot of good music has come out that I really like and have been listening (and singing) to a lot recently. I know I did one of these recently but I always discover new songs and it always changes and my Spotify playlist keeps on getting bigger and bigger. At the end of the year I will be doing a 2016 Playlist rounding up of all my favourite songs of the year.

Hair by Little Mix ft. Sean Paul- Of course I had to include my baes Little Mix (I might also do a top 5 Little Mix songs if you're interested) as I've been loving their new song Hair. I really liked it when I first heard Get Weird but I definitely love the remix with Sean Paul as his rap is so catchy and I love the beat of it. Now I just need a music video!

Desire by Years & Years ft. Tove Lo- Years & Years have some really good music as I loved Eyes Shut and Shine and I have really been getting into their debut single King which I didn't like at the time. I swear I heard this song a couple of years ago on I think 4Music but I think they've done a remix with Tove Lo but I'm not sure if that's true.

Roses by The Chainsmokers- This isn't the usual music I would go for as it's more club and dance music but I do really like this song and it also reminds me of a song which would be in an American YouTuber video- you know you watch way too much YouTube when you can pick out songs for videos.

Cheap Thrills by Sia ft. Sean Paul- Normally I'm not really a Sia fan; she has a great voice but it's just the songs that I don't actually like but I really like Cheap Thrills as it's more upbeat and it's probably because of Sean Paul who's been killing it recently remixing songs and I'm supervised I'm saying that.

Cake By The Ocean by DNCE- I might have included this in my other Top 5 so sorry if I did but I really like this song and I've been singing to it a lot recently. Funny story (which is not funny) when I first heard it I thought it was called Kate By The Ocean and I thought they were singing about some woman called Kate as that's what it sounded like when the Capital Radio presenter said it.

That's what I've been listening to recently as well as my throwback tunes (right now I'm listening to Rita Ora's Poison which I really like) and I've also been rewatching Little Mix's X Factor performances and singing them as they were really good.

Top 5 Current Songs

Today I'm starting a new series called Top 5 where I'm going to write a list (I like lists but they're very bad to do in geography) on a random topic but it will probably be beauty related but today I'm starting off with songs as I love music and I have some jams which I wanted to share with you as I have been listening to a lot of music lately.

7 Years by Lukas Graham
I know a lot of people hate this song by know but I still really like it and I have been jamming out to it a lot recently as it's really catchy and good singing. However when you do get this in your head you probably won't get it out for 24 hours as I'm saying that from experience.

No by Meghan Trainor
I follow Meghan on Instagram and there was a huge build up to this song and I wasn't sure whether I was going to like it or not but I actually really do. It's very different from her last songs, which to be honest I do prefer, but I still really like this song and I also really like Meghan's new hair so if you haven't seen it look it up.

Army by Ellie Goulding
I heard this ages ago on an ITV advert and I could tell it was Ellie Goulding but didn't know the song but when I heard the full song on the radio I really liked it and I'm still liking it. I really like the message behind the song as it's cute and I would find it cute if someone wrote me a song but who would?

Eyes Shut by Years & Years
I heard this song ages ago but I'm still liking it, probably because I watched the music video the other day. I really like Years & Years as I like this song and Shine but I didn't like them to start off with as I didn't like King but now I really like it and the guy who does the singing in Years & Years can really sing.

Hands To Myself by Selena Gomez
Personally I'm not really a fan of Selena Gomez but I really like this song even if isn't the best song. My favourite line is 'I mean I could but why would I want to' and every time I hear the song I always go round afterwards singing it but I do sing the whole song as it's very catchy.

That was my playlist which I have been listening to recently. Remember to check back here and follow me so you know when I post another Top 5 as I have some more planned and I really liked writing this and they're very quick to write which is good for me!
